Song suggestions! :]

Question Posted Friday August 15 2008, 6:44 pm

I really like songs that have deep lyrics, and can relate to my mood. :] Right now, I am annoyed, and infuriated... So are there any songs that talk about posers, or fakeeee people? Like for example, I really want good songs that have stuff in there like stfu, stop acting and be real for once, stop copying others, get a life, get your OWN life, don't even start with your fake crap, how you're really lame for doing all those things, some people aren't real stop with your fakeness, get your own identity and ideas, not MINE, so stop trying to steal my identity and trying to be like me (I like that idea), stop copying my style, you only like and do certain things because of me, etc... you know? Things that are similiar to those things? I would like songs that kind of have that "HAH! In your face! grrr stop being a poser!" feeling. x] I prefer rock songs... I like bands like Paramore, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Simple Plan, Good Charlotte, Evanescence, Green Day, etc. Songs that are those bands' would be great. I'd love you to death if you had some great suggestions!!! lol xD I'll accept anything, but no rap or country please. Thank youuuu so much!

I meant songs that are similiar to those bands' songs would be great xD and maybe you could give me new band suggestions that are similiar to them would be great also :]]]

Also, songs that might have the concepts like, "you have nothing to worry about because your feelings are fake, oh gee, you're feelings and actions are so fake so cry me a river, stop being sad about something that's NOT true, people's feelings are fake..."

Sorry if it's confusing, especially with all of those commas.... and what I'm thinking about is that I'm the "victim." xD I'm the original one (not to be conceited), and other people are the ones who are copying me, and annoying me by being fake and try to be someone who they're NOT, or trying to act like me.

Sorry I'm making this so long :P but one last thing... I kinda get bored of songs easily... Like Paramore, I used to not like some of their songs, cause I only heard it once, but now I'm loving most of their songs. :] I also don't really like screamo music either.... again, sorry for all of this text. xD

edit: -___- dude, just answer the question. >song suggestions< as if I care. Don't have to be so literal on "original" >_____> srsly....

There's this great band I know called "The Rocket Summer", but actually it's a one-person band. =]

He has a great song called "A Song is Not a Business Plan" about how people just write songs about the same things and they just do whatever the crowd is doing. I love it ;]

"High Life Scenery" is also a pretty good song about the subject, as is the rest of that album, called "Do You Feel".

ok. you need to broaden your horizon, music wise atleast.

- mac lethal ( it's rap but then again its not and it def. is not all about sex or whatever. it's got amazing lyrics)
- the honorary title (underground but awesome)
- linkin park. ( always gets the job done)

i know the list is short but you seem to have a pretty good idea of what you want. btw- there's more then one variety of music and listening to a mixture helps with conceited moodswings.

and in this day and age, no one's original. no matter what you say or do, there's so many people on the planet that someone somewhere had the idea first. sorry to burst your bubble.

Well one song that reminds me of things like that is
'Plastic Surgery Slumber Party' by Jeffree Star.

Well my first suggestion WAS gonna be "fucking hero" by city of caterpillar but then i read no screamo so i'll spare you

next thing i thought of was "head south" by modest mouse off of thier "this is a long drive for someone with nothing to think about" album... it doesnt QUITE match the bands listed but i think its dead on was far as what its about

also there's "zurich is stained", "loretta's scars", and "here" all by pavement

idk maybe something by the pixies off of Surfer Rosa

"teenage angst" or "hang on to your IQ" by Placebo fits band type and song meaning... maybe

"now im a spider" by the comas?

oooooooo! "for marcus" by The Plot To Blow Up The Eiffel Tower... PERFECT! im pretty sure ive seen it on youtube. the song's meaning is literally what you've said The Plot is deffinately different than anything youve heard before but its rare that anyone dislikes them.

if youre just looking for some new similar bands, try At The Drive-In or Hot Cross or Cinemechanica

i realize that all this stuff might not be perfect for what youre looking for but its gonna be really hard to find EXACTLY what youre looking for. i think its best to have an open mind when listening to new music and dont limit yourself to one genre (not that you do or anything).

most of this stuff you'll be able to find on youtube. otherwise IM me or email at mossett@gmail.com and i can hook you up =]
