Hey!
A girl, who I thought was my best friend, just told me that she got drunk with this other girl who I dont like. I am totally against drinking and drugs and fooling around. This other girl who I dont like is named Brooke. Brooke and I used to be really good friends, but whenever Brooke hangs out with different people, besides me and Anne(the girl who got drunk,My "bestfriend") she is like a totally different person. Brooke has guys over and fools around, she steals make up and other items from stores. She cuses alot too. So does Anne. I also dont like cussing. The thing is, I still want to be friends with Anne for sure, but not so much Brooke, because we are all sophmores, but This has been going on with Brooke since the eighth grade. She is only my friend, and nice to me when it is convienent for her. Now Anne and I have known eachother for a long time, but then we were not friends during middle school. Anne is really a nice girl, but I dont like it that she likes to drink. And I am also concerned about what I tell my "bestfriend" because she could go and tell it to Brooke. What should I do about this? Im soo confused. I want to be friends with them both, but Im soo lost. I will NOT start to drink or fool around with guys. And I do not want to get into something that I cant get my self out of. I am totally happy with my boyfriend of over a year and 7months, and he does not drink or cuss either. we dont "fool around" either. What should I do?

you shouldnt really talk to her because she is going on brooks side. the "dark" side
dont talk to her, loose her as a friend she isnt really one if she drinks and all of that if you are against it. you should tell a adult or a school counciler. but tell them to keep ypur name privite (i can't spell that sorry)
try to find new friends, keep yourself with your boyfriend. its great that you are going well with him.
sit with random people at lunch thats how you get friends and stuff, right?
talk to people in your class also. or maybe just sit alone its always better alone for some reason you pay more attention to yourself.

Over the summer I lost about 10 lbs. And considering I was only 150 lbs to begin with, I'm now extreamly thin. I didn't lose the weight on purpose, I was just sick of like 3 weeks and I couldnt eat much at all. Well I really need to gain that weight back but the problem is that I'm a cheerleader so I'm constantly moving adn working out which obviously doesn't help with gaining weight. Does anyone know how I can gain it back? My coach just said that it will eventually come back on its own but I'm not sure if that's true. (link)

I have never gone tanning and I'm kind of confused. I'm not really comftrable with people seeing my body and such, so how is it like?? Is each tanning bed in one room or all together? Do I use lotion? Any tips. Thanks a lot. I have gone mystic tanning but I can't go now. (link)

okay well it depends how tan you wanna get.
i do it-
i get a meduim tan like a beachy tan, it looks like i went to the beacch i lay in tehre four about 15 mins. but i keep it on the meduim tempature.
you dont nessicarily have to use loition, if you burn easily, then id reccomend a spray on. not the gooey lotion. its like dry oil and it keeps you feeling cool when you are getting tan!
usually if you want a friend with you you would be out of the room when she is changing then when shes in the booth thing she would holla at you and tell you shes ready for you to come in. but thats if you was a friend with you
in my area.. well most of NY its all a 1 room 1 booth, or 1 room 2 booths. if theres not a 1 booth open you would wait or take a 2 booth and just be by yourself in there untill its really crowded. then you get dressed and such.!

You answered my question about the piercing that i got in my ear. When i got my ear pierced i left it on for 2 or 3 weeks. Then i got tired sleeping with it so i took it off, then the next morning i almost didnt put it back in and it hurt a little. Then i started bleeding a little and that keeps on happening everytime i put it back in. So do u think thats bad or what should i do. thanx (link)

okay well i have a problem, 10 minutes ago i was all dandy and happy. and like after that 10 minutes passed i have a really bad, im mean, REALL BAD stomach ach. its like feeling like you have to throw up and and can't! I cannot take any medicen becasue i need my moms approval and/or dads, but both of them are sleeping and i tred waking my mom up and she doesnt listen and keep sleeping. i cant take a nice cold bath or anything.
if it helps, i just got back form vacation and im a bit burnt. if that helps im a bit chilly too (its like 70* out and my body is used to about 80*)

umm why dont you get a wet cloth that is cold on one side and warm on the other., when u get cold flip it to the warm side
and sunburn can prevent problems like this

I have never had my nails done professionally. But i wanna go like tomorrow and get them done before school starts because i figured it would take me a day or so to get used to them..so im giving myself until thursday...day classes start. Yeah...so on average, how much does it cost to get acrylics...with like the white tips or whatever. in my area PROFESSIONALLY is about 50 bucks, for professional, if you want a "okay cool lets go" place you see off the streets it will be lowerd about to 10-30 bucks... also TIPS are important!

I got a earring about 1 month ago. Everytime I take the earring out to try and put a new one in, it seems like the back of my ear closes or something like real fast. I have to push the earring in, and eventually I get it in, and it's usually fine. Today I changed it again, and I tried to put a new one and I couldn't get it in cause it hurt. Then the back of my ear started to bleed a little. Does that mean it's infected? Or just irritated? Should I take the earring out and let it close up, or is it something that will go away? What should I do? I don't want to take it out. Thanks

ahh im not critizeing you- but you shouldnt take your earring out, untill about 2 months. no its not infected. or anything like that. your ear-piercer (unless if you did it your self) should of given you a bottle thats usually white and its for the back of your ear, its what they do around here. if you did it your self. let it close and get it professionally done :) its well worth the money.
&& DO NOT WEAR HOPS FOR YOUR FIRST 7 WEEKS OF GETTING THAT EARRING!! just ta let you know :)

I got an ipod and i've used it for about 6 months now. it's a 20 GB regular size white iPod. but recently, for some reason it stopped downloading songs onto it. i mean, i could still download songs off of itunes, but i cant get them onto the ipod. idk if it's the cable or the ipod itself, but i really need help. its eather your computer, or your ipod cable, it has done that to me but i dont download off itunes. anyways. you should go to the store you got ur ipod at and bring the reciet because you will need it. tell them whats happeneing (it has a 1 year warrenty for the small ones i bleieve unshure about the larger its probally 1 1/2) and yeah ask them for a chord! they sell them around here, westchester county NY. depends on your store. update me!!
&& oh yeah try plugging in your ipod to a friends compouter it might just be yours, and if it works, make a deal with her parents that you will give them 99 cents per song. if they are that nice they wont care about 99 cents!!

no, don't just forget about him if you really like him. all boys can be really immature at times, but they can also be really nice. first, ask yourself this. can you picture yourself going out with him? do you think he's really good enough for you? if you answered yes to those questions, then maybe he is the guy for you. but it doesn't matter if you like him or not, if he doesn't love you back. if you're too nervous or shy, then get a friend to ask him for you if he likes you or not. but it means more if you ask him in person. if he doesn't like you, then you two can just be friends. and maybe as you two get to know each other better, he might start to like you. but you never know, you might find out that he's different then you thought he was, and you might stop liking him. make a list of pro's and con's(a list of things you like about him, and another list of things you don't like about him.) if you don't have many things on your list, then you probably don't know him well enough. see which one's have more, the pro's or the con's. think about this, if this guy does happen to like you, and you two went out, then you shouldn't just change your mind right after you go out with him, because you decide that he's too immature for you. make sure that you would be comfortable with going out with him, and that he's not too immature. because who would like to be going out with someone that's THAT immature? Do you really think that he's right for you? first, talk to him more, and try to get to know him more. if he says anything mean to you, then he's not worth it. if he says he doesn't like you, then he doesn't deserve someone like you, and it's his loss. don't feel bad if he says no, because there's plenty of other people that are better than him, and that would be willing to go out with you. maybe you'll like him for now, but you'll get over it, it just may take some time. and then maybe later he'll realize that he really does like you. so if he says he likes you, then that's good, but if he says no, then he's not worth it.

try just plain mint toothpaste it works the best, leave it oin for about 3 minutes and then take it off with WARMMM water :) try useing ALOE it works also

i always screw up. I screwed things up with my best friend... and now my cuzin. ok heres my problem: My cuz likes the same guy i like.. except shes known him longer. thats no reason to break up with the guy you like at the moment, shes a bitch because she cant get over anything and she has to do things the hard way. not talkiong to you and :hating: you. obviously she wants you to come up to her and bow down for her, she thinks shes the boss, that happened to me oe, i didnt give because i found out from my friends the guy wasnt as great as i thought he was.
at the moment, dont talk to her. she has to come talk to YOU. you SHOULDNT go up to her and forgive her about him asking you out and he doesnt like her. its HER deal, shes the one who cryed off and decided she wouldnt talk to you and :hate: you
she will get over it soon and find another guy.

Well, there's this guy in two of my classes but we sit like right next to each other in my 7th period. Lately we've been talking alot and laughing and he's great and all. One of my close friends sits behind me and is totally convinced he likes me but i don't think so. Like today, i turned around and she asked me if i was going to homecoming and i was like probably not because nobody has asked me and she said that he turned around and looked at me when i said that. I'm not sure if that means anything though!!!! and she also says that we flirt alot and he looks at me a lot. I also caught him looking at me at the pep-rally we had today. I want to start using tampons but I know my mom hates them because she just read something about a 14 year old getting that toxic shock syndrom from them.
