If it's a disposable razor, you can use it for 4 shaves.

If it's a razor with replacement blades (i.e. Venus), you can use the same blade for 8 shades.

It depends on how often you shave with it and how dirty it gets. If you shave twice a week, I'd recommend replacing it every two weeks. But since you say that one month seems really long, perhaps you should change it more often, like once a week, or even after every time you shave. It can never hurt to use a fresh clean blade, but it *can* hurt to use an old dull one, so stay on the safe side, replace it often.

I change mine every 2nd shave. You can change it whenever you think it is getting dull. You can tell when it gets dull.

As soon as you realize it's less effective (the shave isn't as smooth/quick). There's no specific time. Good Luck!

You should really change it about every 6-7 uses. But change it at least once every 2-3 weeks. Changing it every 6-7 uses is too much.

No, 1 month isnt long. Duh. But, you'll be able to tell when it gets dull. Like, you'll start getting cut easier, and it'll scratch your legs up. I usually go 4 or 5 months, and I have Venus Divine. That should work. Jess*

Juicygirl answered Thursday September 8 2005, 5:06 pm:
hehe I had the same problem as you, one month is definitely too long to be using the same razor. The razor I personally love is the new vibrance by gilette but a Venus/Gilette works just as well. Most of the time you should change your razor heads weeky and (optional) change your stick every month to every other month. I would suggest changing it every other week since a good razor like Venus doesn't wear out that quickly. Remember shaving foam works best and hair conditioner as a substitute if you've just run out.

thinkpink03 answered Thursday September 8 2005, 4:54 pm:
Well there isnt really a specific time, just whenever you feel the blade isnt cutting as well and everything isnt going away thats how you know. if it takes you several times to shave one spot try a new blade if you have one that switches..if you have a disposeable get a new one!

♥// hope i helped youu

3RingBinder answered Thursday September 8 2005, 4:32 pm:
You can tell by the blades' performance. If the blade is nicking your hairs or is skipping sections than it's time to change it.

x0brittany0x answered Thursday September 8 2005, 4:25 pm:
