I'm 14 and I've never had a boyfriend. Usually it doesn't really bother me but I've seen so many couples who are younger than me and it makes me feel so sad and worthless. I'm ugly and shy and boring so I suppose no boy will ever want to go out with me, and even if a miracle happened and I did get one, I wouldn't really know what to do or what to say =\ People think I'm weird because I've never kissed a boy or even been out with one, I feel so different and frigid =[ I guess I was made to be single but I just want to know what it feels like to be loved.. How am I ever gonna get a boyfriend when I look like I do and I'm as shy as I am? If you keep putting yourself down, then nobody will want to go out with you. How can you expect someone to like you if you don't like yourself?
Also, you're fourteen. It may seem like tons of kids your age and younger have been dating, but this generation is the first to do so. When I was fourteen, only six of the kids in my graduating class had dated. In high school, many of my friends didn't date until they were fifteen or sixteen.
I felt the same way when I was fifteen. To quote my diary entry of the time, "It's coming to the point that I have lost all hope of feeling love. I am just not attractive and never will be....I am just going to stop trying." Shortly after writing that (spring '02), I learned to enjoy being single, mostly because the friends of mine who were dating were complaining constantly. The next school year, I met my boyfriend. So, learn to enjoy being single and to like yourself.

I'm 15 Okay well my good guy friend and I want to date, but his mother hates my guts. Once his mother said something about me and he was sticking up for me and she said "Don't you start that again or I'll pull you out of school." And believe me she would do it too. So my friends are like just date and dont tell his mother, but his ex girlfriend is one of my good friends and her mother is still really good friends with his mother. So there is no way that we could keep it from her. What do you think I shud do? (link)

lastnite i was on the fone with my boyfriend and my mom kept coming in saying she needs the phone and i wouldn't get off cause my boyfriend and i were in the middle of a conversation. So... she took my cell phone which in this case my dad bought for me (parents are split up) and i pay for monthly and she only did it to waste my minutes. so when i got off the phone i walked into the living room and there she was on the couch talking on my phone and i got pretty pissed off about it. So... i tried grabbing it from her and told her to give me my damn phone but she pushed me away and slapped my arm and then she finally got off but she wouldn't give it to me and she went and got the home phone so again i tried grabbing for my cell phone and she pushed me into the wall and started choking me and cussing at me and so i called her a fucking bitch and she pushed me onto the couch and punched me in the chest and in the face and slapped me across the face and kept saying what did you just call me and i tried kicking her off me and then i finally got her off me and she goes to my stepdad you wanted her here then you can stay with her and she left..... thats just the background... but my question is what am i supposed to do, I have a HUGE mark on my neck from where she was choking me and now i have worse breathing problems (i have asthma pretty bad) i mean like should i call the poilce or should i call child services i have no idea what to do!! i like this boy but he has a gf. He flirts with me all the time, more than he even talks to her. The girlfriend is also my friend so i wouldn't want to hurt her but he is so cute and funny. I'm attracted to him. He calls me hobbit because i am exactly a foot shorter than him. he's 6 ft and i'm 5 ft. Whenever we are talking and flirting we have fun but then his gf comes along and he stops. Once we had this chatroom thing with me, him, and his gf (i'm friends with tho) and it was one of the most awkward thing for me. I don't know...it was fun and we were alltalking but at one point it was all me and him and it was so nice. Don't make a move, don't tell him you like him, don't do anything. Find someone else to crush on. He is irresponsible and doesn't respect his girlfriend. If you and he were to start going out, what would keep him from flirting with someone else behind your back?

There is no quick, easy way to thoroughly find out about every religion or even just a few. Finding your purpose is a long, contemplative process that never really stops once you start. Does one religion or school of thought appeal to you? Start with one that interests you and read several books on it by several authors.

Im too scared to use a tampon im in my 1st full year of my period and ive been using pads how safe are tampons i read in my bliss magazine that a tampon made this 18 yr old girl slip into a coma for 2 weeks what if that happens to me!! Do they hurt? After you used one are you classed as a non-virgin? Do they tickle? What are they like?

Rather than using normal pads, use flannel pads. You can either order them from www.PandoraPads.com or make them. Normal pads hold in too much heat and bacteria, upping the likelihood of yeast infection. Also, they have bleach. That's bad both for you and the environment. Rather than using tampons, you can either use The Keeper, a soft rubber cup that lasts for years, or sea sponges. Sea sponges are very comfortable and healthy as long as you take good care of them. Tampons are made of bleached rayon. The rayon causes little cuts in your vagina and the bleach gets into the cuts. Sea sponges, if they are clean (they need to be boiled for a half hour right after you buy them, before you use them), are very safe, healthy, and great for the enviornment (they are reusable, but disintegrate after about a year). You can buy them at arts & crafts stores.

I babysit for an hour and a half everyday.
Lucky me, I get the hours when the youngest baby wants to go to sleep more.
The parents keep asking me to try and keep her awake till they come home cause if not she won't sleep at night.
I always fail and she always ends up falling asleep then the parents have trouble getting her back to sleep in the middle of the night.
So I need tips on keeping her awake. She's 8 months old. Don't just say ''Play with her'' because I keep trying but she just crys then I pick her up and she falls asleep.
Oh and I also babysit her sister who is 3 years old so anything that they could both do would be good, I don't want to leave any of them out.

It is not your decision to keep her up. The parents are asking too much of you to do that. If they want her to stay up later, they should wake her up later and give her more naps before you get there. If they're unwilling or unable to do this, they'll just have to deal with it.

Yes, they do work. They will probably give you, at the very most, two inches. But, before you start, it would be good to see a chiropractor and ask him/her about it.

I told my boyfriend that I'd never kissed anyone and that I wanted him to be my first kiss. He said he wanted to kiss me, too. But that was about a month ago and nothing has happened. Ok I have problems trusting people..especially guyys! everytime I put my trust out there fully someone always smashes it... twice I had been cheated on, I have been lied to and ditched and I can't take it... but yea I want to know how do I trust guys more? I have been with my boyfriend for 3 years....at the very beginning of our relationship he cheated on me but we moved on... Whenever he goes out, find a way to distract yourself. Read, play PC games, talk on the phone with a friend, do something you enjoy. When he gets back, ask him if he had a nice time and then say nothing more about it.

Go to a salon and ask a professional. Do NOT try to dye your eyebrows on your own! Even if none of the dye/bleach gets in your eyes, your eyes will be damaged. Go see a salonist.

i happen to work as a janitor in a mental hospital, and there is many a stain that penetrates my jumper suit and stains me clothes. i know how to deal with the usual: urine, feces, vomit, but i want to know how to clean out those unidentified disgusting stains, or U.D.S's. I need to know how to clean off blood most importantly.

I know how to get blood off, but that's about it. RIGHT AWAY, wash the stain with a bar of white soap and water that you can quickly change from icey hot to lukewarm and then back again. Rub the soap onto the stain until there is a nice thick lather, then fold the stained area in half (with the stain and lather inside) and rub the two sides together. Rinse it off with the cold water and repeat with lukewarm water. Repeat again with cold water and then throw it in the washing machine with the normal settings and detergent. If you can machine dry your uniform, do that.
However, if the same spot gets stained over and over, there will eternally be a light brown spot.

He's probably distracted by some other problems. Maybe his parents are fighting or telling him that he has to get a job or else he'll be grounded. Maybe he's really frustrated in a class. Ask him nicely if everything is alright.
If this continues and he says that nothing else is going on, tell him, "Lately, you have been acting very uninterested in me. You don't laugh at my jokes, ask me how I'm doing, you don't suggest that we go out, and you don't appear happy or pleased when I'm around. I am feeling frustrated because there is nothing to give me the idea that you enjoy being with me. It is getting to the point that I don't want to go out with you because you don't appear happy which makes me unhappy." Give him a few weeks to change. If he changes, then yeay! If not, forget about him.

I used to be a fairly good student. However, this year(I'm in 11th grade) I have a total lack of motivation. I always do my work at the very last minute because it seems impossible to make myself do it earlier. I've had a lot of narrow escapes when it comes to handing in projects late and stuff, but I never seem to learn from it. It's like I've got the Lazy Disease and it can't be cured! But seriously, that's how I feel. I can never concentrate on my work. It's like I don't realize it's important and then I end up stressing out, but my experience doesn't do anything for next time. You have junioritis. It's extremely common among juniors. You HAVE to take control. If you get home and just collapse in front of the tv, knowing full well that you have to do a big project, pick your butt up and do it! I'm pretty sure I know what goes through your head: "Oh man, I gotta do that math homework. After The Simpsons is over, I'll do it. No, wait, That 70's Show is after that." And you just never get around to doing it. Force yourself to go do your homework! In class, you have to take notes. To make it more interesting, you could write something like, "The founding fathers knew how important it was to provide freedom to Americans, so they created the first amendment. Then Mr. So-and-so (whatever your teacher's name is) decided to wear that hideous tie to scare away the redcoats." Make it interesting. But, the first step is to FORCE yourself to get up and do it.

THIS IS PRETTY LONG AND BORING....
Im 20m and never had a girlfriend!!!I never even hold or kiss a girl before.... It's not that im ugly or gay, although im not the cute or handsome type either. When i was in high school there were a few girls that come up to me but they weren't my type so i refused them all. But the girl that was my type, i never had the courage to ask them out (im very shy around the girl i like). Now that i drop out of college and work fulltime, i dont have the chance of meeting new people. HOW AM I GOING TO GET A GF? I dont hang out that much and i had never step foot in a club before. Here's the weird thing, the older i get the pickier i am about girlfriend. I thought that not having a gf is suppose to make me desperate, but im not, although i do want a gf pretty bad. What make it worse is that i dont like party girls or girls that would go out with someone that just met and thought he is kinda cute, of course there is nothing wrong with that, im just being picky. Firstly, learn some grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
When you've done that, just do stuff you want to enjoy. For example, if you're a Trekkie, go to some Star Trek conventions and you're bound to meet at least one girl who shares your interests. If you're a big Beatles fan, get yourself a moptop and go to a Beatles convention, there will be many young women there. Since you don't like party girls, don't go to a club or a party to find someone.
Once you do find a young woman you like and shares your interests, just ask her to come with you to a place of that interests, a convention or something. If there's nothing in your area, ask her to see a movie with you and then the both of you go out to eat and discuss the movie. Talk about the actors you hate and other movies and just let the conversation roll. Repeat.
