Hey! My name is Lindsay. I'm seventeen, and a senior at Arcadia High School in Arizona. I'm relatively shy, but as soon as you get to know me, I think I'm fairly obnoxious. I've been part of Advicenators for a while, but I took a break, and now I'm trying to remember how I did everything. I'm still getting used to the advertisements, but that will wear off soon.


I'm extremely into music. I'm into little indie bands, as well as old school Green Day, The Beatles, and other punk and classic rock. I play the cello, and I really am starting to like classical music more and more. It really doesn't suck. You should listen sometime.


I try to give fair advice. Only a few times do I ever get responses in which the asker dosen't like what I say. I really like to read relationships stuff, which works well, because there's more Love Life and Relationships questions on here than anything else. If you have a problem, feel free to ask me a private question.

alright see me and my boyfriend broke up like Monday ..and this girl well it was his x girlfriend was talking to me and shit acting like she cared like aww i feel soo bad and then like 3 minutes later started goin out with him .. but see i tried to like.. be all calm about it and not get mad but when i read her profile or look at the away messages and just think how their together ..ahh i don't know i just like want to cry .. and i am usually the type that i wait like .. 2 days and then i want a new boyfriend but this time i think about liking other people and i just can't go out with anyone else because i want him .. and the fact that he says he's in love with her but he cheated on her with me last time they went out .. ( we made out ) and he is running back to her and she keeps taking him back and junk but i want him back soo bad and at night i usually cry myself to sleep cause of it.. =/

It's mean for this girl to take your ex so fast. Tell this girl you mean buisiness. Ask her how she really feels about this guy. Then ask they guy who he'd rather go out with. I know it sounds evil, but this is the only true blue way you'll feel better.

I have a problem my dog, just recently died and so we got a new puppy Razberry. But as he has gotten older he has become vicious. I just go into the backyard to try to play with him after school and i throw a ball or two. Then I go check if he needs more water in his bowl or not. But then out of the blew he jumps up bites me really hard in the back then I turn around and he bites me in the leg which leaves a scratch and a popping out bruise. Then i try to get away from him and out of the backyard but he keeps biting me. This has been happening for a while now and I dont know what to do to make him stop. I love my puppy and I dont want to give him away. He can be soo sweet to me and i can just tell in his eyes that he loves me too. I think he is just trying to play but doesn't know when to stop. I just would like any suggestions on something I could do to understand that biting me like that is wrong and it hurts. I have tried disciplining him but then he becomes more vicious and bites more. Please help me!

Take him into a place like PetsMart. They have training and you can explain what you want them to help with. In this case biting. If that's not an option, I'd say you'd better get used to having no dog. You could give him to one of your friends though, so you could still see him.

ok well i started to like my best friend, and i was talking to him one day, and he asked me who i liked and i couldnt lie so i said it was him. acctaully, i asked him who he thought it was and he said he thought it was him, so i said it was. ever since then we've still talked and stuff, and things only feel a little different. today, i told him i didnt like him anymore. he asked me why and asked if it was because i liked someone else.. while in my head i was thinking aww i imed him back and said no, its because its screwing everything up between us. then i got booted off. but i dont know what to do, i wanna stop liking him but i cant!

At one point in everyone's life, they start liking their best friend. You know it will screw things up, so most girls don't tell him. That way it can be a casual friendship. Since you've told him, you have to tell him that you don't want him to think of you any differently than he has before. If you still like him, you should ask him to go out with you. Friends are more likely to work out as a love relationship.

ok so i have this bf for about 3 months...he is being mean to me..in the halls he says break up with me jokingly n tells me he would rather hang with his frinds to go airsofting than hang with me...i really like him still n all but he doesnt care about me like i think a boyfriend should...should i talk to him maybe he will change or should i dumb him...my guy friend has said to me that my bf doesnt care about me n that he is being an ***hole towards me.im confused b\c i still really like him n if i break up with him i might regret it...im confused on what to do..

Ask him to be friends with benifits. Or start acting this way towards him. If he sees how he's treating you, he might act better to you.

WILL RATE HIGH...i am lost...my best friend is going out with this guy that she knew liked and i told her it would be ok if she did go out with him (vice versa). he doesnt go to our school. i met him through my friend who knows him from outside activities. he liked her for a really long time, but she never liked him back, until now. this guy knew i liked him to but we both didnt know if would work out if we started dating. anyway, he asked my friend out and theyve been going out for a month now. i talk to him on the phone almost everyday and he confuses me.he's like leading me on, almost. he tells me he's gonna break up w/her for this and that reason, and i dont know how to respond. do i want them to stay together, and be a good friend, but i dont really know...i like him still...ive been out w/one guy since they've started going out and i broke up with him b/c i liked this guy...he says for me to wait for him...am i just wasting my time...waiting for something that will never be??? i really need help...WILL RATE HIGH. thnx!

Ask they guy hwta's going on. He shouldn't be keeping you in the dark like this. If he's going to break up with your friend ask him when. Don't tell your friend. And after her does break up with your friend, don't just in. It'll make your friend hate you.

hi i think ive scratched my nose inside it, well on the right side of my nose is really hurting inside it as if its cut, becuase its really sore! I cant see no cut and theres no blood, i havnt been picking my nose but it was itchy the other day and i kept moving my nose around to stop the itch but i didnt pick it. if you get what i mean, it feels if its packed with boogies but its not please help i dunno what to do or put on it thanks .

Since it's not bleeding, I don't think that anything could be seriously wrong with it. You could wait about a week, and if it still hurts, I would ask your doctor.

Im actually starting to hang out with the people ive wanted to for about two years. I talk to them online and at school. They have a group of 4 people and if I join, it would feel weird becasue it seems to me like i would be brakng into their group when they might not want anymore friends in it. Im best friends with someone who is close with them and the only time i hang out with their group is when that best friend of mine asks us all to. I want to plan something on my own and i have talked to one of the girls about it she said it would be fun but how do i know if she says that to everyone who asks her to do something. Should i go for something that i dont know would work out but truley really want it to, or is their no point in even trying? How do I let the person know that i want to be in their group with out actually saying those exact words?

Ask to hang out with them at the mall sometime. If they say yes to that, they obviously feel like they can hang out with you. If they say no, then it wasn't meant to be.

ok so i have this friend and she went to this one school untill the end of 6th grade and then she moved to my school and she is my friend now (im in 8th grade now) and so we went to the track meet and i met some of her friends from her old school and so i talked to them and then when i got home i taked to them on the internet and asked them who they thought was hotter and they said that i was and so when i went to school the next day she wanted to know what they said about who was hotter and i told her that they said that i was hotter then she was and so was like no seriously what did they say and i told her that they said that i was hotter and she goes stop lying and i was like im not lying b/c that is what they said and she was like no tell me and i said it again and she was like oh well then they must have just said that to make you feel better about yourself and i was like no b/c i talked to them on the phone too and she was like im sure that they were just making me feel better and they thought that i was hotter and my friend (lets call her Lee) well lee isnt that pretty she weighs more then me and her hair is all frizy and i am 5-2 1/2 and weigh 105 and my hair isnt frizzy oh and she has acne too and i dont ppl keep telling me that i am prettier then her and her boyfriend told me that too so i dono y she would say that they were lying to me and i am a teen runway model can someone tell me whats wrong with her? i rate 5's for good and not stupid answer

I think that you might be over your friend. Not "over" as in done with, but like shelter.I think your friend wants some of the limelight you are getting. Maybe ask her to go to a cheap-ish spa with you. And she'll feel a lot better. You could also try to tell her that you weren't lying when she asked you about the hotter thing.

You could always bring chips and a dip! That's an easy way to go. Try looking on Google for "recipies for side dishes" and you might get some help there too.

I believe in sex after marriage, but my boyfriend is persisiting i have sex with him. He aggrivates me ALL the time and I can see myself giving in. I know I will regret it as soon as I've done "the deed". I'm confused as to what I should do; should I choose the easy option and give in? or go by my wishes and wait?

If your boyfriend keeps bugging you about it, I think you should dump him. If he doesn't respect you, how can you respect him? I'm thinking this relationshop is over.

Ok! I am 13 and a girl and my boyfriend is 14. He has a younger brother my age. He wants to keep our... um... love, a secret from almost everyone, expesically his mother and father. Now here's the problem, he said that we have to do that until his 16 when his aloud to date!!! I do truely love him and he loves me. What should I do? I don't want to keep it a secret but he said he'd break up with me if his parents or brother finds out! (P.S. I don't want to hurt him cuz he just broke up with a girl that he was dating for 2 years! She just said we're done and walked away! I don't want to hurt him...)

I think that if he isn't allowed to date, you shouldn't be dating him. If this means dumping him, so be it. You should come back to him in two years when he's sicteen, but definetly don't forget about this guy. You say you like him a lot, but who do you like more? Your boyfriend, or the "jacket lending guy"?

I read a book entitled Sticks and Stones. I know it was by Orca books, but I can't remember who it was by. I finished it in bout 45 minutes. It was pretty short. The main character gets called a slut and she does the same type of report as you.

hi!! omg..in the middle of the night of when im in bed and i stretch..i get a cramp on the bottom of my left or right leg and it hurts like hell. i swear to God it hurts so bad i want to yell but it hurts to bad to yell and i just hold it and its like rock hard i dont know what to do and the pain is just soo unbearable im like OWWWW oh godd....soemoen please help me i dont wanna get another one!! and they happen outta nowhere! someone please please help me!

They could just be growing pains. The best relief is to ask your doctor about this, not advicenators. Your doctor might prescribe a light pain medicine, but if they are just growing pains, they'll go away.

I really love my boyfriend a lot. We have known each other for a long time. But I like to flirt a lot with other guys, sometimes i just can't help it. And my boyfriend will find out sometimes and it makes him feel bad. I don't think he would break up with me but I hate to hurt him. It makes me feel so bad. What can I do?

Try not to flirt? Or maybe you should ask his permission. If he says you can flirt with other guys, you won't feel as bad. And in order to get his permission, say you promise you won't ignore him, or that you'll flirt with him more than anyone else. I was in this same situation once. Give it a try.

You should ask him exactly how he feels about you. There's no ise to you being left in the dark if you truly have feelings for him.

Tell her how you feel. It'll make you feel better because you got it off your chest, and it'll make her feel better because she knows now. She could feel the same way. You never know.
