best friends

Question Posted Thursday April 21 2005, 7:00 pm

ok well i started to like my best friend, and i was talking to him one day, and he asked me who i liked and i couldnt lie so i said it was him. acctaully, i asked him who he thought it was and he said he thought it was him, so i said it was. ever since then we've still talked and stuff, and things only feel a little different. today, i told him i didnt like him anymore. he asked me why and asked if it was because i liked someone else.. while in my head i was thinking aww i imed him back and said no, its because its screwing everything up between us. then i got booted off. but i dont know what to do, i wanna stop liking him but i cant!

You can't help who you like. It isn't possible. If you like him there is obviously an attraction there. It isn't rare that someone likes there best friend. Try to figure out what you two have in common. Think for a while about what's attracting you to him. You don't need to stop liking him though. Just sit down and talk to him about it, maybe ask him out.

Lots of Luck

At one point in everyone's life, they start liking their best friend. You know it will screw things up, so most girls don't tell him. That way it can be a casual friendship. Since you've told him, you have to tell him that you don't want him to think of you any differently than he has before. If you still like him, you should ask him to go out with you. Friends are more likely to work out as a love relationship.

Alright, I can see why it would feel weird telling your best friend you like him, lol. But yea, you can't control who you like, and your not suppose to. If you like him, then let it be. Just don't let that interfere with your friendship! If you really want to stop liking him, try meeting new people or something. Sorry, hope I have helped.

It seems like he likes you, so i would say dont stop liking him, GO FOR IT! but if you think its hurting your relationship, then you might want to try to stop liking him. Its really hard to tell your head not to like someone, when your heart is saying something else. So i would say .. follow your heart!

I think you have to stop... and ask yourself do i really like this guy? Then, if you think it's right, go out with him. It sounds like he likes you. I mean he asked you y you didn't like him anymore! Hope i helped!
