hi. I am a 13/f and i started my period about 6 months ago. I play soccer alot and do track in school. I have never used a tampon, only pads. My mom wont bring the subject up and i'm too nervous to ask her how to use it or if I can use them. PLEASE HELP!!!! my soccer tournament is in a few weeks and thats when my next period is supposed to come! any advice on how my mom can bring up the subject? or how i can get the nerve to talk to her about this?? should i just not tell her and just use one?? but i've never used one before and i'm nervous and dont know how to use one. i don't agree with twistedteen... your mom can't tell you when you are ready for that. it's not ahuge decision. if anything, it's a personal choice. i took a couple from my mom and used them the first time. take the intrustions, read them before and when you are putting it in and you should be fine. later you can ask her to buy you some.. i doubt she'll say no, especially being really athletic.

Hi,

I recently bought some clothes from the Hollister at my mall. I am a 17 year old boy and think the clothes are nice.

When I got home and showed my 13 year old brother the clothes I got (a polo and a sweatshirt) he started screaming at me and said that only posers and gays were Hollister.

I know quite a few people don't like Hollister and quite a few people do.

I am wondering what people think of boys who wear Hollister?

I'm trying out for a musical. It's going to be Peter Pan. I'm a Soprano, but I can also sing low. Just any song that comes to mind and would be similiar to the music in this play-list off for me. I'd prefer for them not to be so common, but I'd appreciate anything. No matter the range, I'm willing to try it out. I really like wishful songs-ballads.Also, if anyone knows of a site that has monologues from plays that are about one minute long, you'd be a lifesaver!!

i had to take a headshot for my passport... wear a polo and pop the collar if you like. by the way, most people look bad in their pics for that so don't worry about it too much. usually the pics are really bad quality too so don't really worry about the makeup & stuff.

For a big portion, it's easy to ask your mom for a bra. I only wear a 34A and she thinks I don't need to buy a bra that much. I only have two, and I want more...but how do I drum up a conversation to ask her? I'm almost 14 (I know, I should be already familar with this) but I'm nervous. What's a great way to ask?

Well next time you're at a depeartment store or somewhere, tell her you need some because 2 isn't enough/they're worn/smell bad after a while. I think she should be fine with it by now. when you're shopping for school and she asks if you need anything else just say you need more bras.

I have big boobs and a small waist. So I have a problem with buying shirts. They either don't fit over my boob and the shirt ends up looking short. Or they do fit over my boobs but its all saggy and too big around my waist.

Does anyone know any stores or styles that could help me out here?

shirts from american eagle are pretty long now. i hate wearing shirt that are too short so try there and see how it goes. most of them stretch too.
