15/f. ok i'll just get straight to the point. i have a crush on a guy who has a girlfriend. the guy is in 8th grade and i'm in 9th, but his girlfriend is also in 9th grade but she goes to a different school than we do so i have never actually met her.

my problem is just that is really bothers me because when we hang out he is always flirting with me and its seems like he likes me, but then i remember that he has a girlfriend. then in the halls he is always smiling at me and saying hi, he gives me nicknames and whenever we are together he just like suddenlys starts twirling me. its just little things like this that just make me like him so much more. and then i get sad because i remember that he has a girlfriend.

what can i do? and if he does break up with is girlfriend soon, how long should i wait before going after him and flirting more?

Okay, first of all I realize you are the same person who asked before and I'm REALLY sorry for not answering. Since I put a temp answer, your question wasn't in my inbox so I forgot to answer it. Anyway...

It doesn't really seem like there's anything you can do. If he does break up with his girlfriend, go for it. (Depending on how he acts- if he seems sad/mad about the breakup, wait awhile). But the fact that this guy has a girlfriend and still flirts isn't really a good sign, it means that if you do go out with him there's a pretty big chance he'll flirt with other girls.

Maybe ask him about his girlfriend, ask how things are going. Who knows, maybe you'll end up giving him advice about her- and then you can SUBTLY hint about breaking up with her (i.e. "Well, maybe you two just aren't right for each other")

The other option is to confront him, but that seems like it's too big of a risk. Just try to distract yourself for a little bit, and wait to see what happens, it's all you can do.

How do I know if a dress look good on me? What do I look for when I look at myself wearing that dress in the mirror?

I'm really self concious and I'm not the best in styles so I have to look at everything because I might think I look great in this dress but everyone else might think it's a bad style or colour for me.

The first thing you need to do is figure out your best and worst features- for instance, pretty eyes should be played up, while big thighs should not.

Try to avoid trying on the same types of dresses. Grab a few random ones that you'd never pick just for fun...

Look at the dress from all angles. Can you wear a bra with it? Does your panty line show? Can you move/dance/bend over in it? Does it show off your best features?

The best thing to do is either to take a friend with you when you're shopping, take pictures of yourself in the dresses, or ask the salespeople what they think of a dress.

i think that i'm finally getting an ipod fro my birthday because i'm sick of cd players breaking. so i was wondering the general price of a nano. i know they're usually around $200 but is there a store where they're a little bit cheaper, or another ipod that's not as much? because my mom's pretty cheap, lol but it's not like we don't have money.

Ipods are all generally the same price. I really don't recommend buying it at Target- they won't let you return it if it doesn't work right, that's happened to three of my friends. Buy it at the Apple Store or online. Prices and colors:

I called my mom an assh*** and an idiot because I was upset with her and she took away my computer for the whole Saturday, she stole all of my money I'd been saving up for years and won't give it back. (It was about $130.00) and she slapped my head three times. while I was doing my duty in the bathroom. First of all, I don't like criticizing other columnists, but please don't pay too much attention to trina_boo's answer. It's sugarcoated and not true.

You shouldn't have called her that, I assume you know it. Most people's parents would react a lot more severely- grounded for at least a month. You need to write a sincere apology note and treat her a lot better, and with any luck you'll get your money back. But next time, put the money and stuff you value somewhere she won't find.

What she did is not child abuse. Child abuse is repeated physical abuse for little or no reason. She did have a reason. Honestly, I think you're lucky that you didn't get a worse punishment.

Hollywood Fashion Tape is the same thing. Amazon.com sells it, and they have it next to the register at Bed Bath And Beyond. And yes, you can remove it from a dress without damaging it.
