iPod

Question Posted Sunday March 11 2007, 9:25 pm

i think that i'm finally getting an ipod fro my birthday because i'm sick of cd players breaking. so i was wondering the general price of a nano. i know they're usually around $200 but is there a store where they're a little bit cheaper, or another ipod that's not as much? because my mom's pretty cheap, lol but it's not like we don't have money.

EDIT:
I was just on the apple store website and I found that they sell refurbished ipods at a lower price. Here's the link:
[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

Ipods are all generally the same price. I really don't recommend buying it at Target- they won't let you return it if it doesn't work right, that's happened to three of my friends. Buy it at the Apple Store or online. Prices and colors:

2 GB (about 500 songs)- $149
Silver only
4 GB (about 1000 songs)- $199
Silver, green, blue, pink, product red
8 GB (about 2000 songs)- $249
Black, product red

If you buy it at the Apple Store, you can also get AppleCare, which is a kind of insurance that guarantees that if your Ipod is fixable, they will fix it for free. Worth every dollar.

If you order it at www.apple.com, it will be shipped to you within 24 hours and you get a free laser engraving on the back with your name or whatever.

I got my nano for $190 awhile back, but I've seen them down to $120-$140 depending on where you get them. I think the cheapest I've seen them is @ Target. But if you're concerned about it breaking, don't get an ipod. They're finding out they are breaking down shortly after one year is up (because of the 1 year warranty.) I have 3 friends who had there's barely over a year & they just stopped working. But if you're willing to take the chance & buy a new one in a year, go for it.

maybe go to ebay.com they have a lot of ipods in good condition. maybe try to find a Mini. Apple discontinued them so there might be some on sale somewhere. the mini's are good too they hold 1000 songs.(i've had my mini for 2 years with no problems) the shuffle holds 100 songs but you cant see what your listening too. If your mom is cheap maybe you could offer to pay for some of it if you really want a nano.

hope i helped =>

Nope. iPod nanos are arround $199. But no, iPods are iPods. Apple tells the stores how much to sell them for. They are all gonna be the same price. The cheepest iPod is a shuffle, but you don't want that =[
