I've been going out with my guy for 8 months. My mom likes him, but she's about the only one. The teachers at school all hate him because he's a little too goofy sometimes. They a seriously very hard on him for any little thing, but not with anyone else. Our classmates don't seem to like him either. He hangs with the boys but they aren't real friends. They're actually pretty cruel. My cousin, who is my best friend, doesn't like him either and she's never even met him. We talked on 3-way though. I get so made at her because she calls him ugly. How supportive of my "best friend". I don't know what my dad thinks. He's never met him but he hears a lot of what I tell mom about him. I think he just doesn't like me having a boyfriend. Anyway, sorry this is long. My point is, why doesn't anyone like my boyfriend? He's a really awesome person and we have so much in common. I love him so much but I feel like nobody else cares at all. It's depressing.

Just because you have a lot in common with him, doesn't mean the rest of the world has to. Thats just how he is, and you and him are going to have to learn to deal with it. If it bothers you too much, find a new boyfriend. Perferably one that is less weird.

i recently saw a question submitted a couple days ago regarding a doctor's note, and i chose to do a research paper on the consequences of providing a fake doctor's note. however, i cannot find good material to support my essay, let alone find facts on whether or not it's illegal.

I'm pretty sure, and this is without evidence, that providing a fake doctor's note to a school or work is very illegal, seeing as how it can get you out of doing some things, or missing all together.

You keep her by fulfilling her aspirations in life. One way to do this, is to have her cook and clean for you. She may claim that she doesn't like this, but all women LOVE cleaning for their men. If you do this, she'll also be very happy with you. It may not seem socially acceptable to adhere to such beliefs, but it will work out in the end.
