I feel uncomfortable about eating food in front of other people. I feel really horrible if I eat a lot. I'm self conscious about my weight and the way I look, and I want to loose about 10 pounds I guess. A lot of my friends are skinny. I don't eat that much any more, because I don't find myself hungry. It's kind of weird. I exersize when I can. Do I have an eating disorder, or am I just being watchful about what I eat? I don't think I do but I want to know what you think. 15/female. I weigh 128 pounds, so yes I am trying to loose weight if that helps. I'll rate for answers. Thanks.

No, you don't have an eating disorder. You still eat, right? And from what you've said here you don't throw up after you eat. Just make sure you don't get too obsessed with your weight. That spells diaster.

EDIT: I didn't just talk about throwing up. I also mentioned anorexia.

in a couple days, me and 2 of my friends are going to the beach. its supposed to be 60 degrees (around) and im trying to think of what to pack. i know its windy on the beach and it will be colder - do you think it will be warm enough to go in the ocean or wear shorts or bathing suits or stuff like that? will we be able to swim in the ocean, or just go in say up to our knees? ill rate 5s for good answers thanks

Chances are it'll be too cold to swim. The air will be warm but the water won't. Unless you surf and have wetsuits you probably won't go far into the water. I would still pack a bathing suit and shorts but you won't go far past your knees. You should probably bring some fun things to do sitting on the beach. Like a volleyball or lacrosse sticks or something.

ever since ive been starting this diet i have been getting really bad stomach pains (not like period) but it hurts..this is my diet::

Day 1-eat a lot of food. everything i can. then i eat so much it makes me throw up..!

Yes, the fact you play soccer all year probably has something to do with this. If you are active it delays your period. Don't worry I'm sure you'll get it soon.

my friend has this boyfriend and they drive everyone crazy when they're together because it's just disgusting. they won't get off of each other. ther're not making out or anything they just won't literally get off of each other. today we were walking out of school and they were of couse stuck to each other but he started tickling her or something but they sounded like they were having sex right next to me. Do exactly what they're doing with your boyfriend. She'll probably notice it and thinks it's disgusting. She'll tell you and then say "That's exactly what you always do with ____." Hopefully, she'll get the point. If she doesn't just come out and tell her.

I am 20. When I was almost 15, I was a bridesmaid in my only sister's wedding. I didn't really want to be, as my sister and I don't get along, but she wanted me in her wedding because it's "traditional" to have your sister as a bridesmaid. As a bridesmaid, I was outfitted with a butt-ugly uncomfortable dress to wear. After the ceremony was over, I promptly gave it to Goodwill.

Periodically since then, my sister has asked for the dress back, claiming she wants to borrow it herself or loan it to a friend. I have never had the nerve to tell her what I did with the dress and have always claimed I "lost" it. The question came up again recently and my sister kind of exploded and demanded to know how the dress could have been "lost" for nearly six years. She actually went to my room and began digging through my dresser drawers and closet (without my permission), trying to find the dress. I told my mother about it all later and confessed what had really happend to the dress and she was horrified that I had given it away.

This is really a two-prong question:

1. Was it wrong for me to give away the dress? I was under the impression that it was mine to do as I liked with -- no one indicated that it was only on loan -- and I had no use for it. I always give away possessions I don't want anymore, it was not a reflection on my sister or her wedding.
2. Should I, after all this time, finally tell my sister what I did with the dress? I believe she suspects the truth by now anyway.

If it's been six years, it's been six years. If after six years she finally wants it back than that's her own fault. Did she know you hated the dress? I'm assuming she did so she should realize you weren't going to keep it.

Yes, you should tell her. She may be angry, but you didn't need that dress and someone at good will did.

First off, tell your parents. You may think they have too much on their plate but if you don't tell them nothing will be done. They will take the action nessicary. And you need to get a pregnancy test. Yes, you are afarid to do both but if you don't you are harming yourself. If you don't you are just giving J the ability to do it to someone else again. Rate me low if you like but honestly, TELL YOUR PARENTS. They will get you a pregnancy test, which is what you need.

HERE ARE THE FACTS:
I lived with my companion for over 20 years. The home we shared for most of that time was purchased for $200,000. The market value is approximately $600,000. The balance on the mortgage is about $155,000. During our time together, he paid the mortgage and utilities. He also took care of the yard. No, it does not seem fair. Have you worked in your adult life? If no, then this really isn't enough to hold you over until you get a job. However, the hard part of this is it would be awkward asking for money, and you have nothing that legally says you can get a share of the money. Are you close with your compain's daughter? If so ask her for some extra money. If you are not try asking someone you are comfortable with, and can get his daughter to give you more money, to help you get some more.
