I started at a highschool with no friends going with me. I have some great new friends, but sometimes i feel like they dont really like me as much as other times. I try to to stuff with them, and sometimes they will say that they're busy, and other times i'm not invieted to do stuff with them that i know is a group thing not just 2 people. What should i do to see whether they really like me and how should i try to be more included. ps i am a 14 year old girl (link)

Try and invite them to do things seperately sometimes, with just you and one other person each time so that you build a strong bond with each of your friens so that they will get closer to you and they will invite you along. Try waiting for them after class and calling them just to say hi to let thm know that you care about them. As for seeing whether they really like you just see if they will wait for you after class and so on. Tell them how you're feeling. They may not even notic what they're doing.. or in this caase not doing.

I'm honestly a smart girl but I'm lazy & hate working. This has drastically affected my grades in school. My parents expect great grades from me (which I haven't had throughout highschool). I'm a junior and grades really matter. I dread report card days because it's the same routine - me crying while my mom screams & punishes me. It is my fault & I know that. How do I start stepping it up and show my mom that this time will be different? I need ways to pull my grades up big time and change my lazy ways. (link)

I think it's great that you really want to improve your grades. What you should do is schedule a specific time where you concentrate on homework. It sounds annoying, but it should really help you. At this time you should turn off anything distracting, ie, TV, computer, etc. You can work if you want to put some music on, but set it on low.. that way you can have some fun while you're working. Also, if you try and schedule your homework at a certain time, you should either do it right after you get home from school so that you don't have to worry about it for the rest of the night or you can do it before you go to sleep so you don't have to worry about what you could be doing instead of homework.
Also, try to pick one subject that you're interested in to get you through your work. Save that for last so that you have to get through all of the stuff you really don't want to do before you get to the one that you're at least remotely interested in. Also, try and take at least 15 minutes per class (time varies depending on what class and what you're learning or what you learned that day) to go over your notes for that day or anything you need to review. Try and find a fun, AND effective way to study so it's not so bad. This will help you improve your test scores which will inturn improve your overall grade in the clas.

Get to know her first. Become friends and find things you have in common. Getting to know her will show her that you like her for more than just her looks, but you really care about her and what she likes. It will also allow you to see how she feels about you. After you get to be friends with her you can either just ask her out, or maybe talk to a mutual friend between you, or talk to her friend yourself. If you're really uncomfortabe yuou can get one of your friends to talk to her or one of her friends to see how she feels about you.
If you decide to just ask her out after getting to know her, some ideas would be to just ask her out to her face. You can either just bluntly ask her, or you can tell her why you want to go out with her first and then ask. (If you do this don't call her "hot" most girls would much rather be called beautiful).
You could also write her a note or call her up. You cna even text or IM her. It's a bit impersonal but if you're shy it's a great alternative.
You could also ask one of your friends to ask her friends if they would do it, you could ask one of her friends to do it or you could ask your friend to do it for you. A note though is that sometimes the technique where it's not actually you asking isn't favored with girls. It can sometimes make them feel a bit awkward.
It would be better to take her to the side and ask her, or like I said pass her a note, IM, text, or call her.

im pretty self concious about my hair. lately, it hasnt been looking as good as it should and its frusterating for me. im getting a haircut but that will be in a while. in the mean time, i would like to know if there are any very affective hair products. my hair isnt frizzy but its dry and the ends look bad. is there something that will help my hair look softer and shinier? if your hair at the end is frizzy, your going to want to get a haircut thats layered/angled. bedhead is a good product

I'm not sure what my condition is, or if I even have one, but it's like this:
Everytime I go to walk around my block, or if I'm in the house alone (and I babysit!), I freak out. I look around frantically, even running from room to room! Is this normal? I don't get it as a severity (sp), but it's not exactly too light either. What can I do to prevent this sort of thing happening to me? Thanks. (link)

to help this, dont watch scary movies, because thats where i get so scared, girls are being like stalked and killed in them, so yea i get scared too.
you should learn karate and stuff like that so incase anything does happen, youll be ready. normally, nothing will happen, and you are scared because its a mental thing. kind of like paranoia. but its normal dont worry.

i think you have add, or your not motivated. i have the same problem. im smart(ish), but i do hate working. like i figure i can just do my spanish homework during 1st period. you should devote 30 minutes a day to homework, and gradually get bigger or until you finish your homewrok

ok heres the situation. your 15 yrs old. u never liked your dad, you hated him and you had this huge fite. and then he beats you wif a wooden stick until it broke. your mom was yelling at him and everything. and he hits your mom because she tries to stop him from hitting you. and then and then... a couple days later they act like nothings happened. yout mom doesnt want anyone else outside the family to kno this so she doesnt calls the police. you realli cant stand it that everyones living on fine and you get mad seeing your bruises. wat do you do? idont want to sound mean or anything, but you sound like you come from a trashy/broken home. but its not YOUR fault, its your parents, they act like nothing is wrong when everything is. it is reallly good that you can see that something is wrong. 1-800-448-3000 thats the girls and boys national hotline. http://www.girlsandboystown.org/hotline/index.asp calls are confidential and everything, and i think its something you should try
good luck! also, if someone abuses, dont tell them to stop, because that could make them angruy,and beat you more. you could file a report to go to like your aunts house. that very common, and it is done when kids can't live w/ their parents either because theyre to ocd or disfuctional, and in your case, dysfunctional

Hey, I need a little help with fonts. I downloaded some fonts as .ZIP files, but I don't know how to get them listed under my regular fonts, like on Microsoft Word. I'll rate high!

This is what worked for me. It took alot of time because I wasn't sure.. but I'll try and sum it up for you.
Open up the .ZIP file for the font.
Go to the link that gives you a preview of the font.
Right Click and hit copy.
Then paste and save that.
Do this as many times as necessary to get all of your fonts saved. (If it worked, the link you pasted should come up with what looks like a page and a letter)
Then go to "Control Panel" on your computer and click on "Fonts". Go to "File" and click "Install Fonts". Then find the folder you stored the fonts in. Highlight the fonts you want and click ok.
It seems a bit confusing, but if you have any trouble feel free to drop your question in my inbox!

i havent talked on one but i have seen someone talk to a spirit before i advise you not to because the spirit becomes attached to you and wants to talk to you all the time your spirit comes to you itself you cannot choose your spirit that you want to contact with. the spirit can tell you how many times you will be married how many kids you will have and what you will name them it is really freaky mojo. i would advise not to mess with one, im honest when i say all of this they are freaky. i hope i helped

It is called discharge, it is completely normal for you. If it is a yellow color of has a bad scent though you should tell your mother. You might have a yeast infection, ofcourse you said it was white so you have nothing to worry about.

ok...me and my x-boyfriend's relationship was going great...but 3 months into it he started to slip into depression...i ask people what i should do and somone gave me the brilent idea to complament him and try to get him to feel good about his self...so i did just that...than...2 weeks later after i was complamenting him he dumped me and went out with my best friend!! and now he thanks me everyday for helping him "meet the love of his life" ...he said he would have never walked up to my best friend if he didnt have confedice... and it makes me feel like he was just using me!!.. should i be upset? or am i over reacting?... Unfortunately, you can't control his feelings towards her. And I understand why you think he was just using you, he did give that impression by saying he never would have gone for it without encouragement, so it seems like he liked her for awhile. But it was rotten of him to go after your friend and it was worse for her to say yes.
But I think you should move on. At least you know that now instead of when you really become attached to him, because then it would hurt even more. To be blunt: Out with the old in with the new.
You have EVERY RIGHT to be upset, and don't let ANYONE say otherwise.

First of all you have a right to be upset, at both your ex and your best friend. If she is really your best friend she wouldnt have even talked to him or thought about him in the wrong way after you broke up. You should definately talk to her and tell her you really liked him and you still do, tell her that if she was your best friend that she wouldnt do that. Personally, I don't think it matters. Like you said, it's just a bag. It might look better by matching it to accentuate the colors of the bag but you don't have to. It's a choice.

it's on disney channel its about how this girl and guy who fall in love and both are shy to do a musical but the do it together and theres this brother and sister who alwayz win and then the two who fall in love bet them they are so good the movies is o0k it's nothing like WOW! but it's ok goodluck !!
