I don't think it's because you're black. I'm white and I've never even seen a black person in my town, but I've never had a boyfriend! And I'm seventeen! And I've lived here for six years! I think it's just the type of guys you are hanging out with...I don't mean white...I just mean that they are the type who aren't serious about relationships. It could also be your age. If you are a little younger, like 13-15, guys your age are not really mature and are totally not serious about relationships. If it is because you are black, well, they're racist jerkoffs and you don't deserve that! They are SO beneath you!

alright, so my birthday is comin up in the beginning of november. i want to have a party because i haven't had one since i was like 12 (im turning 15 now).. i had an idea for a party bus but i'm gunna save that for my 16th birthday. and i was thinking about having just a big party at my house, but i dont want my parents to be there ..so does anyone know of any good places to have one?

Personally, I don't think that's a very good idea. You are way young to be having a party without your parents. Things could go horribly wrong. Somebody could start smoking marijuana or raping people. Unless that's what you want. In which case I suggest an abandoned warehouse. =/ I don't mean to be a smartass, but I really am serious about you being to young for that kind of party.

I can't tell you what you should do for your birthday. I can tell you what I would do--I would wear a Gothic Lolita style dress and all my guests would do the same, and we would have a tea party. It would probably cost about $6,000 dollars because we'd all have to buy dresses from Japan, and then I'd have to get the antigue table and the tea set and everything. That's what I would do because that's the way I would want it, but it might not be your style. The only one who can decide the right birthday party for you is YOU. Though I highly suggest just having a regular party--have some friends over for however long they want and eat some cake. It should only cost as much as the cake costs, unless you want to get some balloons and streamers as well...you can get them very cheap at the dollar store.

Yes, you can shower with a tampon in. But why bother with it? You can just as easily shower with nothing in. It all goes down the drain. It does not stain the shower. But do not be embarassed, I had to ask my mother about it the first time I had my period.

Do you mean "empiphany" or "empathy"? I'll explain both.

Empathy is when you are able to feel another creature's pain. It goes byond simply feeling bad for them, which is sympathy. If they are sad, you feel sad. It's like this book I read called "Love That Dog". If you are extremely empathetic, the way I am, just reading the title will make you want to cry, and by the middle of the book you will be bawling your eyes out.

Empiphany is sort of an awakening. It's when you realize something, and your whole life is enlightened by this realization. In a religious context? Hmm...Siddhartha Gautama had an epiphany and became the founder of Buddhism! In fact, "Buddha" means "the enlightened one". I'm pretty sure Jesus had some empiphanies, too. Sometimes people have empiphanies and decide to stop being so gosh darn sinful! For example, a man could beat his wife every day. After she leaves him, he might realize that beating his wife was BAD, and decide that from that day on he will never beat anybody, but instead open up a plush bunny chainstore and become an international success.

Next Wednesday is Retro Day and I need some ideas of what to wear and how I should wear my hair 'cause I'm trying to get the full effect! I wanted to do something from the eighties..

The thing about doing something from the 1980s is that it basically looks exactly the same as fashions do now. Fashions go in cycles, you see. I like the "flapper" style from the 1920s. Try looking that up. Also, 1950s is good. Poodle skirts all the way!

Okay so I saw a similar question about Retro day. Well my question is about Tacky day. Could someone tell me what would be classified as "Tacky" i've heard mixing gold and silver jewlery is tacky but thats it! Can anyone help?

Hot pink vinyl pants. Huge slanted bright colored glasses. Basically anything that clashes (doesn't match) is tacky. Things that you see in the store and think are totally lame and you say you'll never wear them (unless it was Halloween). A feather boa could be considered tacky. You can find them at Claire's.

I know exactly how you feel! I am going through the same exact thing! Don't stress about it too much! Try and get out there and talk to people, and maybe ask if they want to go out somewhere with you. Or you can go out by yourself. Personally, I have this decent amount of money in my bank account that I plan on using for mental health shopping. I know it's selfish and doesn't last long, but material items can make you feel good, y'know? For boys...try and flirt! Just keep going at it and eventually it should pay off. But don't date any random loser just because you want a boyfriend! Oh, no. That's what I did and boy do I regret it! But just try to relax and hang in there. I know I'll be cheering for you. Ok so my name is Tilly and I came in late for biology class. I look in my chair and there was a note with my name on it..I opened it and it said "Tilly, will you go out with me-your secret admirer"..obviously, they were joking because it was written very MESSY and..if i wanted to say yes/no..how could i tell them? so i was being mocked and embaressed..should I get over it? I wanted to cry so bad..this made me feel even more horrible because people have been calling me ugly for 5 years!

I know it's very hard to deal with. I have had similar things happen to me. You are not the only one who has ever been humiliated, and I'm ever so certain you are not ugly. It's OKAY to cry. Crying is not a weakness, though sometimes it can make your ears hurt. And it's okay to hate those people, just as long as you don't hurt them. Just hate them quietly, to yourself, and be nice to them on the outside. I'm not going to tell you to get over it, because it's really difficult to get over this. So don't get over it. But don't curl up in a ball and die, either. Use it to make you a stronger person. Prove to them that they cannot squash you!

i'm a male, over 20, alone as hell.
i've never been able to get a girlfriend, i've tried and tried.
it seems like some crule cycle with me, meet a girl, ask her out a couple of times, start to like her and suspect she likes me too, try to be there for her and everything, try to move things up a notch, get the "you're such a good/nice/fabulous guy, i just wanna be friends" routine. Then i'll let go of how i feel as much as posible and try being "just friends", then she picks up the biggest jerk known to mankind and i get to sit across the table watching them make out (TORTURE, for those who care). then the arshole will proceed to cheat on her, she's crushed, i have to listen to all the bullshit and cheer her up, only to find her back with the butthead a week later, then a month later he'll cheat on her AGAIN...
by the third time this happens i simply fuck off, cause she's still won't go out with me and she keeps on going back to the total jerk and every month i have to be there for her.
WHAT THE FUCK, girls always tell me what a "NICE GUY" i am and the friendship crap, but why won't they go out with me.
I'm starting to accept that i'll die alone and bitter, and am starting to avoid woman totally.
I just don't know what to do, i'm really starting to lose it with woman.

Okay, first of all calm down. What I have to say might seem a little harsh, but it's the best I've got. And I actually have a lot to say about this.

First of all...your life does not revolve around dating. You don't NEED a woman to make you a complete person. And just because you don't have a girlfriend does not mean you are alone. Look around you. You are part of this universe, you are never alone. And you can only be bitter if you CHOOSE to be bitter. If you choose to be happy, you will be fine.

Now, perhaps the problem is the girls you are going after. If they are all the type to go out with bad boys who cheat on them, maybe you need a different type of girl. Not all girls are like that, you know. Go to new places to meet people.

It might also be because you are too slow. Perhaps when you first start talking to these girls, they start to have a crush on you. But after a while, they start thinking "This guy only wants to be my friend." and then that is how they think of you.

Remember that these are only POSSIBLE situations, they might not be what's really going on. I'm not a psychologist.

Don't kill yourself, it isn't worth it!

Don't become an alcoholic. That is just another way of killing yourself.

Don't go gay. You can't go gay. If you like a guy and want to experiment dating a guy, then go ahead. But you can't "go gay" if you are heterosexual. That's repressing your emotions and it's the same thing as when a gay person forces themself to act straight just so other people don't realize they're gay. But you might be gay and not know it yet. I guess you can't know until you try. Guy on guy is hot, also. Maybe some girl will see you making out with a guy and think that you are off limits, and thus more attractive. MAYBE.

Like I said, it's not worth losing your life over. If the dating scene doesn't work out for you, spend some time in the wilderness and become one with the universe. Get enlightened. You could be the next Buddha. Or Jesus. Or Ralph Waldo Emerson. Or Eminem. Whatever. Good luck.

My friend who is younger than me is a 32a in bra size. She is in 6th grade. Is that small or big for her age??

Neither. Different people grow at different rates. I have a friend who had a huge chest in 6th grade and still does. My other friend has always been flat and probably always will be flat. Everybody is different!

i just got my period and i am using tampons cas the pads feel like diaper's : ) and it said something about only using they when your flow is moderate what does that mean? and how many times a day do you get your period??

Uhm, you're period lasts all day. Even when you're alseep. It's not fair, but oh well. And what it means by moderate is that sometimes you will have a LOT of blood coming out and you will be in pain--that's heavy. Other times there will be no pain and you will barely notice the blood--that's light. Moderate is in between. Though some people do not change, they might always have heavy periods. I started out heavy and then got ridiculousy light, I barely notice that I have it anymore. Different tampons are made for different types of periods. If you are using a moderate tampon for a light period, it can be harmful to you. Also, you must change the tampon every six hours or so because if you don't you can get TOXIC SHOCK SYNDROME. There is a cure for that, but even so--you don't want it!

Is it normal to want to go out shopping by myself if I'm only 15. I really just want to go out and have a fun time-by myself-at the mall, just shopping and browsing without having to entertain anyone. But I dont know if that would be weird, seeing as the mall has alot of ppl my age in it (and some that know who I am) if they just see me walking by myself, would you think I was a loser with no one to shop with? Because I really just want to go out shopping. I dont want it to sound like a conceited question, but I'm really just wondering!

Psh! I do that all the time, and I did it when I was younger than you! Nobody thinks it's weird, and if they do, you shouldn't CARE. The mall is a free place. Well, unless you're like...buying stuff...cause the stuff isn't free. What's really weird is the people who shop with OTHER people. Those people are freaks!! (that's a joke!)

I think so, but I wouldn't do it. Diet pills can KIIIIILL you!! Just drink a lot of water, eat healthy foods, and exercise everyday. Sure it will take a long time but it's worth it and you can't DIE from it.
