2. Dress to fit your body type, and buy the size that fits. If you're a size 6, squeezing into a 4 won't make you look skinnier. It makes you look fat when you aren't.
3. You will never regret waiting to lose your virginity.

Hi there,
I had my upper wisdom tooth extracted last Monday (17/03) under a local anaesthetic, following nearly a week of intense pain which my friend, a dentist, initially thought was due to an abscess of or peridonitis. Before it was found to be tooth decay (he did not x-ray my teeth as he was on holiday at the time), he gave me a very short course of antibiotics (3days). At the same time, I was taking 2 nurofen every four hours. By the second day of taking the antibiotics I was waking up at night, my nightdress drenched in sweat and feeling quite ill (aside from my aching gums!). Also, everytime I moved my head in bed, I felt extremely dizzy, as though I'd stepped off a playground roundabout. My tooth was removed by another dentist after an x-ray found the tooth to be decay, and the pain stopped in my gum. However the nausea, sweating and dizziness continued until yesterday (22/03). Today, I don't feel as dizzy but I feel extremely tired and have no energy to get out of bed and generally quite down. Is this due to the tooth decay, nurofen, or to the antibiotics ?

Being tired is a common side effect of many medications. I wouldn't worry about it for now. I know that if I have a migraine for a few days, when it finally goes away I'm VERY tired and lightheaded from a lack of pain (if that makes any sense)

So, if the exhaustion continues for more than a few days I'd give your dentist a call. But for now, it's most likely all the medications you were taking getting out of your system.

i've had two bf's in the past and they both said i was an amazing kisser, but i felt like it was them, not me. i don't feel like i'm doing some things right sometimes. I have a new bf now and we haven't gotten around to kissing yet.

so i was wondering if anyone has any special hints i could have to be confident in my own kissing? sounds weird, but i want to get better.

This pertains to a school trip which is why I put it in this category.

So, on Wednesday, I leave for Chicago. We will be there through Monday for a national competition.

It's supposed to snow, but since I live in LA, I don't have much experience with snow. I know that it's frozen water, but if it lands on my hair, will it ruin my straightening?

I need to know stuff like this, haha.

Will the weather dry out my skin?

Typically if you brush snow out of your hair before it melts you won't have a problem with straghtening. If you do, well, it will happen to everyone with straight hair and snow doesn't ruin hair like rain does.

Your skin may dry out a bit, but since you'll only be there for a few days there probably won't be much difference. Maybe bring moisturizer along, and if you already do just use it twice a day instead of once, or something.

He probably just stopped texting you. Honestly you're just overanalyzing this. Send him a "Hey, where'd you go?" message, and maybe give him a call. He's probably just wicked busy, or his phone's texting stopped working too.

You can do whatever you want. There really aren't any specific rules to follow. Sometimes, kissing one lip at a time is really cute/romantic though, and it feels different than your typical kiss.

Does anyone know any good ways to write in big letters very neatly, i get extra points on a poster if everything is hand written.

I've done lettering for two years in vocational shop at school.

A few tips:
1. Lightly penciled guide lines. Make them VERY light (like don't make an indent on the paper) and use a ruler/yardstick/something straight to draw them.
2. Go slowly and use light pencil lines at first.
3. Since you're making a poster, use really bright/bold colors that are easy to read (i.e. maroon, green, red, blue, black; as opposed to, say, yellow and lime green)

I heard vitamin water was actually bad for you. Is that true? Because I love it and I'm always drinking it.

Well some people were drinking it thinking it was this amazingly healthy beverage when it reality it's really no different than Gatorade. It has 125 calories per 20 oz bottle. Compared to soda it's healthier (since a 20 oz bottle of Coke has 250 calories) and also has some vitamins.

So it's not going to like, destroy brain cells or anything. You're fine.

As for taste it really depends on what the guy ate/drank the past few days.

But for the sake of his future ability to have kids (and not dying from pain) DO NOT USE YOUR TEETH. Just, don't. Teeth and guy parts don't mix. And that tidbit of advice shouldn't be considered a violation of the rules, because it's preventing severe physical pain. If it is, let me know L2's, and I'll delete it.

ok so my bf had this one gf a while ago and she was his first gf and first kiss and everything and i got jealous of her because of that. because she also took him to 2nd base. i have gotten over it because i knew he had learned and now understands that he shouldnt have and all that and he told me he never talked to her anymore. he volunteers at this place and she sometimes does too. i havent gone to 2nd with him btw and im his first serious gf and hes mine she was just a fling haha. anyway so he fwd an email to me and fwd it to a bunch of other people and on it i saw her name so idk what to think. he hates talking about her and says he doesnt talk to her or like her and he and i have best friends for a couple yrs before we started dating. i love him and trust him but now i kno he has her email and he fwded that to her so for all i kno he might be in contact with her. what should i do? confront him? he will just say he just was fwding sumthing and doesnt talk to her. idk what to do but i know he would NEVER cheat on me, or hurt me or anything and i trust him but i always have problems when it has to do with her. please help me-i would appreciate it soo much! :]

Well, if this was any other girl you probably wouldn't be bothered by it. Since you trust him, there's really no reason for you to think that he's cheating on you.

The fact that he forwarded an email to her just means he had her email and could have just sent it to everyone.

Why do Victoria's Secret, Alloy, etc only sell clothes through catalogues instead of in stores? because not everyone knows about catalogues and people can't try on anything, in addition to the sending and stuff would seem annoying. Victoria's Secret has sweatshirts and sweatpants available but not like the clothes featured in their catalogue. :(

Lots of times, their stores simply can't hold the entire inventory.

Also, that may be how they choose to run their business- through catalogs. Some people prefer that. Alloy (and Delias) are becoming more widespread as stores, though :)

I want hair extensions but I am just wondering how much they usually cost and how long they last and where I can get them if I live in Deer Park New York?

I want them to last from now until september 12th for my sweet 16. If i get them now will they last until then? and last through prom?

You could consider getting clip-in extensions and not wearing them every day. They'd last longer but also wouldn't be permanent. From June to September, they'll start looking less than perfect & you may have to get them re-done or something.

hi everyone!

i curl my hair with a curling iron every weekend (somtimes i just flat iron it) but the rest of the week i leave my hair pretty much nautral (no heat styling).

how do i keep it healthy? im going for a haircut to getrid of the spllit ends but i want to keep them away!

also, i feel like the bottom layer of my hair is extra tangly and dried out.

if it helps, my hair is fine until the day after i iron it, and then it gets split endy. so i cut off the ends. but they come back the next weekend!

i dont use a heat protector when i curl it because it gives my hair a wierdtexture, and its so much softer if i dont.

also, whats your favorite hairstyle for everyday?
(please especally answer ifyou have wavyish straightdark brown hair that goes halfway to your elbow)

and what conditioner do you use to keep your hair healthy?

Try using a leave-in conditioner such as Herbal Essences Long-Term Relationship. Since you aren't using a heat protector, your hair needs all the moisture it can get.

I have wicked curly hair and I use both Garnier Fructis and Bed Head shampoo&conditioner. Garnier is really inexpensive ($3 a bottle at Target) and smells amazing. There's tons of choices, all the kinds are basically the same but I always get one that specifically says for split ends, or dry hair or something like that. Bed Head is more expensive and usually is only found at salons (but you'll sometimes find it at Target or Hannaford) and is probably the best hair product line ever. Self-Absorbed & Moisture maniac are both great, and Fashionista (from Catwalk by Tigi Bed Head) is best if you dye/highlight your hair at all.

The best conditioner will only do anything for your hair if you leave it on long enough. So whatever kind you use, leave it in your hair for at least a few minutes before you rinse it all out.
