hey. Im thirteen and i have this friend who is a boy. Hes like my best friend and we have been best friends for about 2 years. the thing is that i think that i like him. I don't know what to do. If i tell him im afraid how he will react due to the fact that i have dropped no hints and he thinks we are only friends. Also im really afriad on how this will affect our friendship because i don't know what i would do without him. i know this is tough but i really need help on this one!

tell him how you feel! he might feel the same way, and doesn't want to tell you either. if he likes you only as a friend, just continue on like normal and pretend nothing happened. he might start developing feelings for you once you tell him. if he's a good enough friend, he won't care whether you like him even when the two of you are only friends.

I'm 14/f and I am having trouble with my skin. I don't have too much acne (a couple pimples now and then.. but thats not my problem). I have very light/fair skin and my cheeks and around my nose are really red and between my eyebrows is covered in little acne dots and is very pale.
Can anyone give me any advice on what kind of makeup to use where?

first off, i would suggest using jergens natural glow lotion. it will help you to not be as pale (it is not a self tanner though, it's a lotion.) and it will take away some of the redness. foundation will cover this all up. use almay skin stays clean foundation all around your face, and a little on the upper part of your neck so it blends. then use a light light blush on the apples of your cheeks so you're not all one color, yet not red. also, wear lipgloss! it will distract from anything that doesn't get covered.

okay i have cut myself in the past and kinda still do...i am anorexic and get upset easily...when my mom found out i was cutting she said "Dont be a stupid f***"...and i asked to see a therapist and she said i dont need to..she jus doesnt understand...i dont know what to do...i am so anorexic ive lost my period and i am starting to cut again ((along with suicide poems)) and i obviously cant ask her...school counselours dont work..i've tried..please help!

any adult that will listen to you. (aunts, uncles, grandma, friends mom, a school teacher, a close friend, school nurse.) tell anyone! tell them you need help and your mom won't listen. this is serious, so you need to tell someone (besides your mom) and have them help you get help.

K i saw a question you answered about a girl afraid of relationships. So am I, it's just the main thing I guess I'm afraid of is people goind "aaaa! you two are going out?" or things like that in the middle of class or whatever... Things like that make me embarassed and when I'm embarassed my face turns the shade of red on a Christmas stocking. It's not even funny. there really is nothing to be afraid of! don't care/mind what other people say. the only thing that matters is the two of you. you don't really have to tell anyone either. it could just be between the two of you. and if someone does mention something, act like you don't care and pretend like it's no big deal then everyone will just leave you alone. it's really no ones business but yours and his. but for those people that do bug you, ignore them, don't be embarassed. getting embarassed will only make them want to do it more. anyways i hope this helps you. you can talk to me anytime. = )

Okay...I've had my period for exactly 2 years as of December 5. I want to use tampons, and I know how to put them in and all the dangers. But I have a few other questions:

Does it hurt going in/while its in/coming out?

How do you know that you have TSS?

the first time might be a little bit uncomfortable, but you'll get used to it. read the instructions on the box and make sure you put it in right or it could hurt. for your first time using on use the small ones.

i got my period for the 4th month at the beginning of november. the very beginning. so i had it for like a 5 days. 2 days later i got it again and i still have it now heavy as ever. is this normal? it sucks so much nd i have used SO many pads!!!

it's normal. since it's only your 4th time, the cycle might be a little off, but it won't happen again after the 5th or 6th.

i have ugly white heads, black heads and these white bump thingies all over my face. theyre digusting. without them id actually be pretty but when they finally go away they come right back! ugh its so annoying and disgusting. i feel like no one can look at me without think 'ewww' please help

ice will help shrink white heads. biore strips will get rid of the black heads. and use biore face scrub everyday. if it's serious acne ask your doctor and he/she will prescribe you a med. or you can go to a dermatologist.

p.s. proactiv does work! try it.
