rainshowersz answered Tuesday December 6 2005, 10:01 pm: you can ask for stuff for me--but of course I dont want to sound all stuck up (I want a pony and a...) Say "Dad, I dont need anything, I'm pretty content w/my stuff now." Then later walk by him on the phone w/a friend, not even acknoledging him, and say "OMG! Your mom got u a tiffany necklace!! I so need one, lemme borrow it?" Works everytime..swear. [ rainshowersz's advice column | Ask rainshowersz A Question ]

xcheerbabex108 answered Tuesday December 6 2005, 5:36 pm: Now this is a fairly easy question. Although, like you said, you don't want to act like your spoiled, I understand, maybe save your money for the necklace. You know, just..save. You could ask for any movies, any cd's anything from the mall, gift certificates, games, or books. Very simple. If you want to tell me anything else that I could answer for this question, leave it in my inbox. Thanks!

x0blu3eyedbeautyx0 answered Tuesday December 6 2005, 5:04 pm: Ok. what you should do is make a list...put alot of things on there, but tell your dad you're not expecting all this,,you're just giving him alot to choose from. Thinks of movies you've seen that you want, or perfume. Here i'll list some stuff...
1. Movies
2. Perfume
3. Video Games
4. Earinngs
5. Clothes
6. Accesories
7. Flat Iron (if you use one)
8. Magzine Subscriptions
9. Tickets to an up and coming concert
10. Gift Certificates
11. CD's
12. Seasons of your favorite shows on dvd
tasuki answered Tuesday December 6 2005, 4:04 pm: If all you want is one necklace, you're not being stuck up. You're not a selfish brat most of the year--this is Christmas. It's perfectly find to want things. [ tasuki's advice column | Ask tasuki A Question ]
Mercy_x_Me answered Tuesday December 6 2005, 3:38 pm: If you ask for more things, get smaller, inexpensive things. But if you want to get a tiffanys necklace, ask for less. I know the feeling. After all though, you don't want him to wind up getting you something you don't care for. Just tell him the truth, and say that if he can't take care of that financially it's fine. thecarsdownthehill answered Tuesday December 6 2005, 3:21 pm: well first off i just want to say to the person who flipped out on you that if it offended them that much dont take the time to answer it next time..
anyways ask for whatever you want but gift cards to your favorite store would be best if you dont want to seem like a priss.
