First of all. Nobody likes acne. I would suggest proactiv. I heard it works really good, but takes time. I can also be expensive. If you want something cheaper use Clean&Clear. It might take awhile longer though. Also, neutragena is another good one

good luck;;hope it clears

For me, i use clean & clear. Specifically foaming face wash, blackhead scrub, and bacteria foam (i dont exactly remember that name, but i know its orange). Wash before school, and before you go to bed. You can also wash when you get home from school if you feel its needed. This product does not dry your face out, so you dont need moisturizer. There are also face masks that you can put on about every other day. Two examples would be: Olay daily facials (blue), and PETERTHOMASROTH acne mask, sulfur cooling treatment. There is also a store in my town where they have tons of products not-sold-in-stores, and they also have something called zip-n-zap (special treatment that gets rid of puss in pimples). The place is called 'Beautiful Faces'. I dont think these are chain stores, but you might find something like it in your town. =) < 33

Iunderstand answered Sunday December 4 2005, 9:02 pm:
ahhhh an expertise of mine

wash your face at least twice a day to begin with...
I used to use Cetaphil (its a gentle cleanser) but now I use Mary Kay Velocity Wash ... it's not just for acne either so it's good to take your makeup off with. The reason I use Velocity is cuz teh otehr stuff is TimeWise (it makes ppl look younger) and im 13 so i dont need that. but anyway, just anything gentle/mild you use to clean your face with twice a day helps!

Hun I have no idea what your skin type is or I would tell you what product to use. Your best bet is to go to a dermatologist. Ask him/her what your skin type is and go to a store and get face creams or face moisturizers.
Hope this helps hun.

I had bad acne before too. I went to the doctor about it a few times and he finally gave me a prescription medicine. It's helped a whole lot. Also, wash your face daily..though it may get old and annoying, it helps.

GDROB2 answered Sunday December 4 2005, 7:14 pm:
Hi,

Over the counter products or those you buy straight off the television cannot and most of the time do not do a good job. Why? All of them are made from the same ingrediants but lack medication in them.

What you really need to do is see a doctor. They will see how severe the acne is and they may have samples of medications that are several times stronger than anything over the counter to combat it. They may also refer you to a deermatologist or write out a perscription.

This is what you need as the acne can disapear within days using the prescription medication. It is the best bet if acne is severe or does not go away. If it is a mild outbreak the other products may work but take more time.

Well, theres some that only work for certain people. Alot of my friends and I use Clinque. If you goto the mall and look for a counter with Clinque, ask her about acne soulutions. if you try those and they don't work, order Proactiv.

^^ PLEASE let me know if I helped or not.
**hope it works out**

if yu go to any store with a beauty aisle in it, they have a bunch of aveeno products. theres a diff. type of aveeno for eczema, and theres another one for acne that can help get rid of acne and prevent future breakouts.

cheddar answered Sunday December 4 2005, 6:47 pm:
proactiv is really good, but if you use it for a long time, your skin gets used to it so you have to switch like every 6 months to make sure it stays effective.

biore isn't that great, nuetrogena is pretty good but might dry out your skin. if you want to get a really great skincare product and can spend a lot, go to [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
