I never payed any attention when my schoool nurse talked to us about it. can you answer this please? are we supposed to bleed ALL the time? i thought you only bled on a cycle or something.
FullMoonLover08 answered Monday December 5 2005, 9:50 pm: You are only suppose to have your period 1 week or so out of each month. Not constantly. If you are bleeding constantly you need a doctor..and if your refering to when your on it. Everyones body is different so you could stop and go etc. You kinda confused me the way you worded this sorry i tried [ FullMoonLover08's advice column | Ask FullMoonLover08 A Question ]

No you are not supposed to bleed ALL the time.
Most women have a cycle of between 26 and 30 days and at the end of that cycle they normally bleed from between 3 and 7 days dpending on the person.
If you have only just started your periods, don't worry it's probably just your body trying to regulate itself and get into a cycle so some months you may have 2 periods and other months you may not have one at all.
I would reccommend though that if you have been bleeding continuously for more than 7 days to speak to you Mom and get an appointment with a gynae just to get checked out. It's probably nothing at all to worry about but best to check!
