I'm 14/f and I am having trouble with my skin. I don't have too much acne (a couple pimples now and then.. but thats not my problem). I have very light/fair skin and my cheeks and around my nose are really red and between my eyebrows is covered in little acne dots and is very pale.
Can anyone give me any advice on what kind of makeup to use where?

It's made of all-natural ingredients so it won't further irritate your skin, and it's wonderful at evening out your skin tone while still looking very natural. (I have very fair skin, too).
If you use it, you'll probably need the lightest color (I think it's Fair 1.0). It's a powder foundation so it brushes on. Don't buy their expensive brushes--buy a cheaper one and save money. Use a small brush to apply the foundation to your problem areas, and then a larger one to cover the rest of your face. Then dust the Mineral Veil over your entire face (this acts like regular powder and keeps your face from being shiny).
I love it and it also lasts a long time. I've had one container for about 9 months, so even though it's a little expensive it goes a long way. Good luck to you! [ prettycakes's advice column | Ask prettycakes A Question ]
RockStoleMySoul answered Tuesday December 6 2005, 9:56 pm: Wow. We're like sisters. Pale skin and a little bit of acne. First of all. Don't go for the foundations and concealers. Find a powder. I would suggest L'Oreal true match. It's only about 7 dollars and works like magic, keeping away shine. You can get it at any drug store. Good luck honey! hco_babe answered Tuesday December 6 2005, 8:39 pm: first off, i would suggest using jergens natural glow lotion. it will help you to not be as pale (it is not a self tanner though, it's a lotion.) and it will take away some of the redness. foundation will cover this all up. use almay skin stays clean foundation all around your face, and a little on the upper part of your neck so it blends. then use a light light blush on the apples of your cheeks so you're not all one color, yet not red. also, wear lipgloss! it will distract from anything that doesn't get covered.
