ok here is the deal..i like this boy John. we have been friends for a while and he started daten this girl about 9 months ago. well while he was daten her me and him started to like each other. well they borke up about a month ago..and the other night he started calling me...keep in mind every time we start talking something bad happens to us. well i thought this time it would be different. but i keep having this feelin that something bad was about to happen..i told him that i was feeling that way and he told me that he promises nothing bad will happen this time and things are going to go the way we want them to...well it did. someone (i have no idea who) iMed me last night and started calling me a slut and telling me all these really mean things. now what lead me to think it's someone he knows is that they mentioned his exgirlfriend and him. i thought i was his sister for a lil while and i still kind of think it is. also. he lives in another part to where i live at, at lest an hour away. but he is suppose to be moving back to where i live soon.
i just want you guys to tell me what i should do. i've thought about telling him that i don't wanna talk with him anymore. but i can't do that. bC i care for him WAY to much. he is the only guy that i've ever actually wanted to be with without cheating on him..i drop EVERYTHING and i mean EVERYTHING to be with this boy.
so if you don't mind please give me some ideas of how i can get through this without telling him we have to stop talking and being friends?
and if you think it is for the best to stop talking then tell me so and tell me why if you don't mind.

I'm invited to this Christmas party on the 16th. I'm so excited for it! Here's the thing, it's semi-formal most girls are wearing dresses but they won't look to dressed up. I took my first school picture..
the eye doctor said that after getting my first glasses this summer my eyes might get a little light sensitive
they got REALLY light sensitive on picture day.
I ended up blinking in my school picture.
I freaked out, then took retakes.
They came back today.. eyes closed.
I already talked to the yearbook sponsor. She said that I can bring in a picture of me and they'll scan it into the yearbook.
But there will be a different background and stuff and it will be at the end of the yearbook.
I have this AMAzing picture of me and i want to put it in, but i'm not sure if people will laugh at me or anything or talk about it if it sticks out.
Should I have stick out or not have a picture in there at all?

Alright, so I have this friend. Let's call her Diana. Whenever I tell Diana something that I am excited about she just brings me down. She'll tell me "Oh my god, no one cares" or "Does it really seem like I care?", stuff like that. Sometimes she will even hurt me physically also. well, theres proably about 1 thing you CAN do about this. you can talk to her. tell her that you dont like when she makes fun of you all the time when you try to tell her your secrets or something that happens to you exciting then she should be happy for you and not bring you down like that. also tell her that you dont like it when shes flirting with your boyfriend. dont tell her in a way that will make you sound controlling or mean and getting into a fight just be nice about it and listen to her more often when shes telling YOU exciting things taht happened for her. hope i helped!!

What I'm dealing with here is an 8-month relationship with a girl 6 years younger than me. I'm 26, she's 20... I treat her with a lot of respect and am always there when she needs me, and she is always there for me, too, up until this point. Prior to what happened, our relationship really seemed 50/50. Her mother, who is in bad health, has decided that I'm "controlling, possessive, insensitive, lacking all social manners" and has told this girl that if she ever thinks about marrying me, she will not approve, and if she gets pregnant by me, she'll be disowned.
I feel this is totally wrong. My parents would not do this to me, and I am at a loss to understand it. She and I are happy with each other, at least that's what she tells me. She says she loves me "more than you know," but cannot be torn anymore. She says she wants to be friends, and "maybe someday" things can be different. She says she doesn't want her mother to die resenting me, because that would make her resent me. She also says she "cannot function" without her family relationship and needs "space and time."
What's strange is her mother doesn't have a problem (or so she says) with us being friends and going to a movie now and then. I'm totally confused. What are your thoughts on the matter?

I'm 14/f and I am having trouble with my skin. I don't have too much acne (a couple pimples now and then.. but thats not my problem). I have very light/fair skin and my cheeks and around my nose are really red and between my eyebrows is covered in little acne dots and is very pale.
Can anyone give me any advice on what kind of makeup to use where?
wear concealer over the little pimples, while your getting rid of them though. dont wear too much where its obvious your wearing makeup to hide them. hope i helped!

many talented singers take voice lessons to improve their already decent voice. however, do people who don't have a good voice at all ever take voice lessons? would this help improve a voice at all. I am not just saying this, I really do not have a good voice, I can't hit any notes or stay in tune. I know you are probably thinking "I am sure her vpice is OK, but honestly it is not one of my strong points. I know I have other strengths and talents, but I am basically an awful singer. I am not looking to be transformed into an amazing famous singer or anything, but I would like to have a decent voice so I am not embaressed to sing out loud! Do you know anyone like me that has ever taken voice lessons? Would they at all help someone who has vritually no singing talent? Is it worth it, and would it improve me a little? Or do voice teachers expect only to work with people who are already okay at singing? I would also be embaressed to go to a professional...someone who can sing so well! Any comments or advice? Thank You!
uhmm im not sure about this. but i have a friend...and she doesnt know if shes a great singer but she wants to be famous. so she tapes herself singing and sends it to people. they tell her if its good or not. try that and see so that you dont ahve to be embarassed over it. they can just tell you if you have what it takes or not. hope i helped!!

I have been involved with a guy for over 2 years. We have a near perfect relationship. He is my best friend and the person I know God sent to me to spend the rest of my life with. My boyfriend says he feels the same way. We recently graduated from college and were lucky enough to have found jobs in the same city. He says that he is ready to marry me but he doesn't want to spend the money it cost to buy me an engagement ring. The ring that I have chosen cost $3000 and he claims that is too much to spend on a ring. I told him that I don't care how much he pays for a ring as long as he puts a lot of thought in the ring he chooses. Lately, he constantly reminds me of the $3000 ring and makes me feel as if it is my fault that engagement rings are so expensive. What should I do or say to him to convince him that I just want a nice ring? Also, what can I do to convince him that this is not a time to be a cheap-skate and that a decent ring will cost over $1000?
