i'm dying my hair red. what is a good kind of dye to use? my sister is going to do it. and it needs to be inexpensive from walmart.

first of all that stuff you buy from wal-mart will totally mess up your hair if you dont do it right. it also screws up your hair in general. i did it. and then i went to my salon and they got really really mad at me! they said it messed up like the ends and its just not good for it. also i have family in the hair salon business and they totally dont recommend it. neither do i. so i say go to a salon. and if you dont want in permanent then ask for a temporary color. thats what i do w/ my red highlights for the winter =) this probably isnt the answer that you want. but its the best i can give..

umm gross? just walking into walmart will give you herpes. go to Bel Air Hair Beauty. And get layers or highlights or something... just the thought of dying your hair red makes me want to vomit.

Red hair is the best! I wish (naturally) had red hair. The only thing is that red is DANGEROUS and is capable of coming out TERRIBLE. So you have to be realllllly careful. I would try to do a temporary dye first. COLOR PULSE IS CRAP AND THE COLORS ARE INTENSE, so don't use it unless you want intense hair. Loving Care by Clairol is good for about a weeks worth of hair color, and Natural Instincts by Clairol is good for about a month. I think Clairol is the best brand, but that's just me.

garbnier frcutisse works good. plus it smeels good. most of the other ones stink like bleach. this one smells like fruit

or the Garnier stuff.

dont know exactly the brand but on the box going down the side says 100% in big red letters. i used it all the time when i dided my hair

use Herbal Essencess... It uses natural herbs and stuff like that and it smells a whole lot better than other hair dyes plus it looks more natural!
