Okay, so my birthday is Tuesday, and my dad is going to be out of town. I'm going to be 15, and I realize things happen. So my parents gave my my presents today (Sunday) so that he would be here and I wouldn't have to wait. Well, I got one of those mini-laptops. I don't like it. My mom knows this and I said thank you, because it is the thought that counts. I said I like the idea, its just way to small for me, I don't like the key bored. She said she understood and would return it and i could get something I liked. Now, my question, What should I get? I have a cell phone, ipod, and camera, all good. No new ones needed. I'm looking for something electronic, I can't get a big lap top, and I have a TV, ideas?

Maybe get an alarm clock home deck for your iPod.. I have an off-brand one, but I think it's called an iHome?

I heard those are pretty cool.

I'm curious as to why you can't get a big laptop? They're amazing. If you change your mind, get an HP ;].

Well heres the problem. im a 13 year old guy who used to have a reallly skinny body but iv been working out for about 9 months and iv gained a lot more muscle mass and i look better too. But before i started working out a lot of my ribcage was sticking out, but i never really paid attention. Now since iv been working out its gotten alot better and less shows but it still sticks out. im going to WhiteWater with the girl i like and some other guys and girls too in 5 days, 6-20-09 . i wanted to know if there is anyway i can reduce the amount of rib that sticks out. And another question, i wanted to know the things NOT to do and how to be nice and friendly to her. or what i can do to get her attention. THANK YOU.

Honestly, if the girl isn't interested in you because of your body, then she's shallow. You can't control your ribs, can you? Didn't think so ;]

As for talking to her, just be yourself. Don't try to change how you normally are just to impress her, because if she ends up liking you, it's for someone you definitely aren't.

Just compliment her, but not too much. Laugh and smile.

Hi..well, it all started with a Truth or dare game. We were playing and my friends made me kiss this guy who likes me, GF, and my best friend made me touch his crotch. My boyfriend found out about it and got mad. But until now, he is never letting go of the situation, and it annoys me and hurts me, and I can't love someone who is going to always bring it up . I knew it was a mistake at the time, but I was lost and weak. We are going to argue everyday. And next year, he won't be in my school which completely completely upsets me.
i begged him not to go, yet he chose to go. he broke my heart long before i broke his. i just didn't want to tell him. i think it's unreasonable. But I know going to another country to study is good for him and his future, so I don't want him to know.i don't know what to do anymore. i did all those horrible stuff
because i was so upset. and now i've lost my boyyfriend and best friend, and he's not even answering his phone. and my parents are acting responsible. my life is horrible.i don't think i know how to love any person.i don't think i can learn to love anyone except him. Can anyone give me some advice please?


Talk to him.

If you apologize once more, and say something other than just "I'm really sorry", and you leave it at that, maybe he'll forgive you.

But, know that he has every right to be mad. EVERY RIGHT. You cheated on him, plain and simple. I don't care if it was a dare or not, you CHEATED. Just think how you'd feel if he did that to you? And don't say you wouldn't be upset, because anyone would be.

"He broke my heart long before i broke his," is what you say, and honestly, I think you are trying to find an excuse to justify your actions. It doesn't matter who broke whose heart first- what matters is that YOU broke HIS by CHEATING on him.

Just remember that.

my freind recently told me that he liked me i didnt make a big deal of it because i think im too young to date. now when i ask him who he likes he doesnt ever give me a staright answer but he makes it seem like its not me anymore. He told a lot of people that he likes this other girl in my school that i think is really bad for him. today i asked him if he really did like her and he said that he was just lying.. i really want him to still like me because i like him back to but i think i lost my chance, how can i get him to tell me who he really likes? i've already askeed him many times and he wont tell me so how do i get him to??

If you've already asked him, don't ask him again.

Guys hate it when girls bug them about who they like, unless they're into making it a flirty conversation.

So, if he likes you, he'll tell you. Don't push it- unless you want to push him over the edge and upset him.

hi ive been liking a girl that i known since the 6th grade now im in the 8th grade and im wondering how to make her fall in love with her me and her have been very good friends since then but i want to be more than friends with her.

Take it from someone who has been in your position:

The more you try to force her to be into you, the more she'll push you away.

I did something like this to my friend in 8th grade, and it's because of that we didn't talk for a few months; not one word to each other for at least three months.

So, if it's meant to be, it will happen. But, if she's not into you like you're into her, then you can't change that. I'm sorry.

well we were havinq problems with our jet ski , so we sent them into the shop. it ' s been weeks since. they told us to come in &_ pick up our jet ski. when we qet there they had our jet ski taken apart &_ not fixed what so ever. my question is ;is this even leqal ? can they make us pay for all these parts &_ not even fix it ?

I know nothing about law, but maybe contacting a lawyer would be a good start, because this sounds super shady.

so when i talk to this guy i like over text..the conversation usually ends before i want it too. cause i run out of things to say.

Why would you want to hide that you're trying to keep up the conversation?

From a guy's perspective, it's really annoying when girls try to hide that they are putting effort in, because it just makes it more obvious. Guys like upfront girls, not girls who are just sneaky and indirect.

Talk about what you're doing, or talk about your day. Talk about your favorite music. Your pets. Talk about your parents. Talk about anything, really.

The fact is that most guys, if they are interested in you, won't care WHAT you talk about over a text, just the fact that they're talking to you is good enough.

From a guy's perspective, it is perfectly alright.

Sometimes it's good to be old-fashioned and let the guy make the first move, but sometimes it takes the pressure off of the guy if the girl makes the first move.

Do you miss anything, or anyone from your past and regret things happening?

I, like Erinn, miss people. I have friends from around the country that I only get to see once a year, and I miss them.

Sometimes I miss being a kid, I mean, I still technically am, but, I miss being able to have no responsibilities and no worries except who I was going to play with at recess. I mean, I love my life right now, but sometimes I just miss that part about my past.

As far as regrets go, I like to say that I don't have regrets, though, there are certain things I wish I'd never done. Obviously I learn lessons from the mistakes I've made, but there's one mistake I keep making that I'm really not proud of.

However, for pretty much anything else, I have no regrets. I am who I am because of who I am; the decisions I've made thus far make me, me.

Hi. You answered my question about my boyfriend leaving during summer and I didn't know what to do about missing him etc. And you said to write letters to him. That is a good idea and it is what I'm planning to do. But now my question is that I want to add a little flavor to the letters. I don't want them to be plain and boring. So I told him that at the end of each letter will be a surprise. I was thinking about writing a riddle at the end of each letter... And then eventually all of the riddles add up to something special.

Do you think this is a good idea? Do you have any other cute suggestions that I should do to make the letters more loving and more meaningful? Thanks!

I'll be fifteen August Fifteenth
My parents are apparently running low on money and I'm getting tired of my dad yelling at me everytime I ask for ten bucks
I also need money so I can go out shopping and stuff
But because of my age. Not many places will hire
I'm thinking I'll be the only sophmore without a job come September
So, are their any places that will hire at fourteen?
Or even fifteen?

Also, maybe mow lawns in your neighborhood. Start a babysitting service. Sell lemonade this summer [kinda kidding, kinda serious]. Walk people's dogs.

My boyfriend and I have just started going out, as of a few weeks. And I just found out that I won't be able to see him until end of august. I'm going to be at volleyball nationals the entire month of June, and then he is a camp counselor and will be working from July until august. I truly believe that I love him and I can't take my mind off him. He's so amazing. I'm already crying because I know how tough this will be and I don't think I can endure it. He won't even be able to text or talk on the phone that much. I honestly think I'll go crazy...

I need advice on what to do. How do I make myself feel happy? I don't want to forget about him and I don't want to get together with another guy. But I don't want our time apart to ruin my summer. Even though it kinda already has. What do I do???

Is there a way you can send letters to each other?

I know how old-fashioned and lame that sounds, but it could work. If you sent letters to each other, then you would always be looking forward to getting a response back, and it could help you keep your mind on him, and keep hope that you do eventually get to see him again.
