okay well.. im straight edge... and i didnt want to have sex. and hes older. and i told him it was ok,. weve been together 7 months. i guess i thought i wouldnt mind? or maybe i thought he wouldnt do it. but he did. and now i just dont know if i can trust him. or if i should try and get revenge. and it sucks cause the girl was/is? my friend and i told him how much i hated when the would flirt. so i just dont know what to do? should i dump him? should i ignore it? pretend not to care? get revenge? any advice at all would be great.

What is a Pap test?
The Pap test (also called a Pap smear) checks for changes in the cells of your cervix. The cervix is the lower part of the uterus (womb) that opens into the vagina (birth canal). The Pap test can tell if you have an infection, abnormal (unhealthy) cells, or cancer.

How is a Pap test done?
Your health care provider can do a Pap test during a pelvic exam. It is a quick test that takes only a few minutes. You will be asked to lie down on an exam table and put your feet in holders called stirrups, letting your knees fall to the side. A sheet will cover your legs and stomach. The health care provider will put an instrument called a speculum into your vagina, opening it to see the cervix and to do the Pap test. She or he will use a special stick, brush or swab to take a few cells from inside and around the cervix. The cells are placed on a small glass slide, then checked by a lab to make sure they are healthy. While painless for most women, a Pap test can cause discomfort for some women.

My group of friends and I have been really close for a long time, until recently. We were all loyal to eachother and thought that we could put lots of trust into eachother...until we found out some things about this girl Cara. She had been saying bad things about all of us behind our backs. Individually! We all knew that she had been doing this for awhile and we kinda excepted it as being her. We would nod our head when she talked about another friend, but wouldn't participate in the verbal backstab. You see, she told every one of us that we each were the only ones that she could trust and the only ones that really understood her. That made us special and feel that we could trust her. WRONG! recently we found out that she had been doing this for years and giving verbal beatings to all of her so called friends behind their backs. Its not even that that ticks us off so much. You see, she always is depressed and moody and ruining our fun by being sad about things that she say are happening at home or at school, but in reality, she has a great mom and dad, and is getting excellent grades. We all didn't talk to her for one week and she retaliated. she told anyone with ears all about how we were all jerks. Than the next day, she acts all sad and trys to apologize. She says that she's truly sorry and all and we all want to forgive her. She says that she is going to change and she needs our help and just wants us back. So naturally we forgive her....but today she started talking about us and acting all depressed and moody again! We have no idea what to do because even though she is a mean jerk, she's that kind of person that you want to hate, but you miss and you want them to miss you and like you. She will also spread rumors about us if we be mean to her. We are so confused at what to do. It doesn't help that we all go to the same school, so we can't just ignore her because were in a lot of the same classes. HELP!

Sorry, but you and your friends need to leave this girl alone. She is no one I would want to be friends with! If you really care for her suggest she get some counseling from the Guidance Counselor. Until she does, I wouldn't associate with her.

It's quite possible she did that because she is jealous of the fact that you have a boyfriend. Are you spending more time with him that her or when you are with her talk all about him? Have a talk with your friend and let her know that you having a boyfriend does not change your friendship with her. Let her know you will always care for her and that blood is thicker than water. {Bestfriends are always blood} --remember that. Boys come and go but friends-- are FOREVER. After she hears this and her attitude torward him changes to nicer then you know that this is what was bothering her. The threat of losing you.

okay i was on a antiobitioic for a sinus infection, and its a form of penecilin, and i had these HUGE absolutley huge hives all over me, they were disgusting, i was wondering what exactly are hives?

Hi there! I've got my own column on here (EMiLYELiZABETH) but today I'm needing some advice.

I'm 2O/f and tomorrow I've got a huge job interview with the police department. My question is... what should I wear and how should I do my hair?? It's brown with reddish highlights, half way down my back (about to the bottom of my bra). I like it either up or down, so that isn't an issue.

As far as what to wear, I was wondering about pinstripe pants or a skirt? Also, what kind of shirt? I've got a few nice sweaters or some that I can layer with.

I totally know what your going through...lol. I would straighten my hair, then it would rain or be humid and go 'frizzy' on me. After straighting your hair spray Citre Shine Spray Mist Laminator on it. This LOCKS in the straightness...{They have other products similiar to this but make sure it says something to the effect of Laminator or smooth & sleek} I swear by it!

There is no need at your age to try to sexually clasify ur self now. You will know for certain when you are older. Your feelings now are very much like other teens. I dont care who you are, Every teen goes through a stage of some sorts where they try to define there sexualty. If you are straight, then that is just something you know. But having other feelings, such as being sexually attracted to the opposite sex is not a easy thing to try to define. Have you had sexual intercourse with the same sex? When I was 17, everything was going great in my life. I had a job, a car, a boyfriend, and family that loved me. But my great life soon turned into a nightmare-I got a phone call, my mom and dad were in the hospital. They were driving when a car had hit them, and they died 3 days later. I'm 20 now, and I take care of my 13 year old sister and 9 year old brother. I have so much stress being a 20 year old parent. Sometimes I just break down and want to die. Of course, that's not an option. I need help, how can I keep up with working full time and taking care of my two siblings. I dont have family that could help me, I'm all on my own! First off, I want to say Sorry, and give you mad props for being such a awesome person and taking care of your sister and brother, it takes a alot for you to do that. I didn't lose my mom growing up but she was never around, though I know that doesn't come close to the trajedy you indured, I to, had to practicaly raise my 2 sisters,{I was 16 at the time} {22 now} It was so hard and times were definately rough. I missed growing up and knowing what is was like to be a teen and do things. But I wouldn't trade that for the closeness that I now have with my sisters. You, have a whole other situation thou...You are only 20 years old, trying to pay all the bills I presume and living on your own. First off go get help from the state, in your situation they will help pay for day care until the 13 year old is legal to babysit her own brother. {not sure about the laws there, but in NC you have to be 14}. Don't give up, I know that's alot easier said than done...You are a wonderful person for doing what you have done so far. You sound like you could really use a friend right now. Know that this will not last forever and there is a light at the end of the tunnel, even if you can't see it just yet. Hope I have helped in some small way........
