Is the dress plain black? no sparkles...no design? If not, and lets you say you have blue eyes, go with a blue sparkle polish. u get my drift. Also, really...any color by Maybelline wet shine diamonds is a plus.

Here's the deal, your outfit sounds awesome and nails will make ity even cooler. My sister wore something like that too. If your into bold and want to spice things up, try a bright cherry red. If you want to be classic try a french manicure. If all else fails try, a frosty pink. Happy Homecoming!

If you feel like black nail polish is too much with the black dress and shoes, go classical and just use clear polish with some glitter. It will look great without clasing the outfit or making it look too goth.

any color would work with black...i would try pink sense as we all know its very "in" right now. if your a "bright" type of person i might do like a neon bc its a good contrast with black and stuff.
