im 16...the past few nights i have been sweating at night. its never happened before. we have central air and i sleep with my fan on so my room is always the coldest one in the house. i sleep under a comforter and normally a pretty thick blanket that i pull up around my neck but since ive been sweating i settled for a very thin soft blanket. last night i wore shorts and a thin tshirt and even slept on the comforter under the thin blanket i eventually needed to put my feet under the comforter but i still woke up this morning sweating... also i cant stay asleep past like 8. i will wake up at like 4 6 and 8 and eventually ill fall back asleep until 11 at the latest but never a full nights sleep. i dont know why all of a sudden this is happening. any ideas?
My sister used to have the same problem - do you eat before you go to sleep, like within 1/2 an hour? that can usually cause your body to want to sweat off what you just ate. If all else fails, try putting a washcloth on your face that has been soaked in cold water, but also make sure to use lighter sheets and blankets, and just sleep in smaller amounts of clothes - tanks and shorts do the trick, or less if your comfortable. Lastly, check your thermostat - if it is on auto and shuts off at a certain temperature, set it to a lower one so you can be more comfortable. I've always found sleeping when its cold in my room to be the best - good luck!
I know this is kind of early to be asking, but for prom should you wear short dress or a long dress? I want to wear a short dress, but i dont know if that would be weird
hey! okay i love talking about dresses, especially prom ones! i highly suggest that you go shopping with ur most honest and best friend, and try on both styles. It will help, and they can tell you which looks best. Also, pick up the latest issue of seventeen, with amanda bynes on the cover. I suggest long if you wanna go all out. Good luck!

Hi. I just bought a new hair dryer with a finger diffuser on it. I know that the diffuser is supposed to make you hair curly, but I cannot seem to make my hair curly. I have lightely wavy hair, and put curling mousse in before I used the diffuser. I'm not quite sure exactly how to use the diffuser too. Can I please have advice on how to correctly use a diffuser? Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you.
I have hair just like you. The diffuser won't completely curl it, it will just make it lighter and more volumeous. This would be a good step to having your hair be easier to curl. Curling wise i suggest a 1/2 in wide curler and do loose curls. they are so cute!. when you undo them, twist the peice of hair down. hope this will help you! ♥

ummmm, i'd definetly go for marshall fields, dillards, nordstroms, or famous footwear if you are on a budget. If not budget, do for steve madden-they last forever! also, target makes them with a low heel. Good Luck! i love shoes!

Here's the deal, your outfit sounds awesome and nails will make ity even cooler. My sister wore something like that too. If your into bold and want to spice things up, try a bright cherry red. If you want to be classic try a french manicure. If all else fails try, a frosty pink. Happy Homecoming!
A big problem. Ok... I'm in student government at my school. Were freshmans and are shut down for our ideas... even our teacher doesn't support us. Well, we have connections with stores and radio stations- and we want to organize a fashion show. I mean it's a huge responsiblity and were worried guys and girls won't come, and where thinking of dinners and so on. Please, give me some ideas on how to work this thing.. how to organize, promote, ANYTHING! Thanks- I rate higghhh
Hey I see where your coming from school can be hard , but so can extra stuff like being on the school council. I suggest you take everything a little slower and keep going. If you get frusterated, take a deep breath and keep going.
