SilentHelper answered Sunday August 22 2004, 1:03 am: Hello. Cornbread is made with cornmeal, which is basically a dried corn substance. Although most cornbread/cornmuffin recipes don't have whole corn pieces in them, some people prefer to make their breads/muffins with whole pieces of corn. I like it both ways, but it's more common to make corn goods without whole kernels. Which ever you prefer to make, both ways are correct. Thank you for your time!
