Hives are .. bump like things that form.. when you are extremely allergic to something..i had it once.. you can keep throwing up for days.. NON-STOP.. go to the doctor.. theyll do tests on you to find out what ti is.

Hives are a rash. You usually get them if you have an allergic reaction to something.

Hives are raised, often itchy red welts on the surface of the skin. They are usually an allergic reaction to food or medicine.

*Hives may be uncomfortable, but they generally are harmless and disappear on their own.*

MFS answered Tuesday October 19 2004, 2:17 pm:
As I understand it, hives are tiny pockets of inflammation caused by an allergic response to something. In this case, you are likely allergic to penicyllin - something to be tested for, as the allergy, should it get worse, can be fatal. If you are concerned about the presence of the hives, take a benadryl - but no matter what, inform your doctor of this reaction - it might be necessary to pull you off the medicine and have you take something else. Medicine allergies should NOT be taken lightly.

You are probably allergic to this medicine. I am allergic to the same thing. Find new medicine and don't use that medicine again. Go to a doctor for the hives he'll tell you what to do.
