dear advicenators i have a friend who cuts herself i havent known her for a long time bcz i just moved here but she does it and she cant stop !!! i would like some advice on how to help her stop ...

Try to talk to your friend about how you have noticed that she mutilates herself and how you don't like it..and try to talk to her about things that are bothering her..if you can help her with her problems she tells you great and if not then talk to her parents or guardians about it, that is if she doesnt listen to you and doesnt stop cutting herself..her guardians will handle it from there by signing her up for counciling with doctors and people to help her with her problem..hope she'll be ok..

Ok I am 14/f and my boyfriend and I have been going out for like 3 weeks now and he's great but lately we have been gettin into little fights. Like the other I was on AIM and my b/f and I werent really talkin that much... so I was talkin to my best friend tony... well my b/f got all mad and he says I dont ever talk to him and we made up but i really think that he is still mad... what should I do... I will rate high and I will take n e answers???

If you are both already getting into fights just from a three week relationship it may not work out in the future for both of you..Try talking to your boyfriend about certain things that bother you or why he fights with you..And just because he got mad at you for not talking to him or so he says don't worry about it.It's not that big of a deal..And ask him if he's still mad at you over that little thing.
okay i was on a antiobitioic for a sinus infection, and its a form of penecilin, and i had these HUGE absolutley huge hives all over me, they were disgusting, i was wondering what exactly are hives?
Hives just shows that you have a allergic reaction to something they do go away so no need to worry. just get alot of rest..
Me and my really good friend got in alot of fights and we used to be bestfriends for two years but things changed. We started fighting alot and she told me that she didn't want to be my friend anymore becuz we fight so much. When I think of all the fun times we had when we were friends I really miss being her friend but she also said some really mean things to me so sometimes I think maybe we shouldn't be friends. I've tried apologizing to her but she doesn't listen.What should I do??
Well if you tried apologizing to your best friend and she dont accept, then it shows your not true best friends as you think..She might be getting tired of you and her always hanging out together if you and her spend alot of time together hangin out..so try to not spend as much time with her or following her whatever she does and goes. You two just might need to take time off of from eachother for a little bit but the WORST thing to do is avoid her completely...hope this helps

Hey, I went Figure Skating for the first time this weekend-and it wasint pretty. I fell a lot, and all I learned to do was walk on the ice. The only time I was actually skating was when someone was pushing me and i was soo scared. So anyway, how do I actually skate? I'm going again pretty soon..and I wanna do good haha.
That's awesome that you wanna learn how to skate..well i've been skating since i was 3 and now im 17 so 14 yrs..haha..i also compete which is cool but to answer your question when i first started skating I held onto the side of the boards to get the feel of being on skates..then i worked myself up and skated slow with a snow cone those `orange cones` around the rink..finally i got the feel of it and learned how to skate on my own..just trust me be careful for toepicks those arn't really great to have being stabbed in your leg..but good luck!!

ok ..im 14/f and one of my best friends is 14/m..he doesnt go to my school...although lives in the district and i seem him here and there...hes been askin me how to ask a girl out..and i kept telling him to be himself..he just wont listen to me on that part advice...and he kepts telling me to put myself in that position..and i said "no" then he said "well its not hard 4 u ur a girl" and i said "its hard 4 us as well..bc we have to turn down guys we dont like"..and i dk how to tell just to be himself..bc he wont listen to that...and he a few days ago he asked me "how do i ask a girl out and not get turned down??"..and im like idk its not something predictable...and he goes to a private school..and i go to public school..so i have no clue who this girl is..if i did ..i would have asked her if she liked him..but i dk ....so im pointless at this point...-thx
P.S. also...i asked him the other night on-line what this girls name is and he said "marissa" and i asked him way be4 that.."what would you say if i said i liked you" and he said "i dunno" and said well what would your 1st response be if i said i did and he said "u do?" and i said oooo..then he said something or w/e and i said you scare me sometimes and he didnt say anything for 2 mins and i said..."do you care that you do sometimes" and he said "yea"..and i said "how much?" and he said "______________________________________________________________________________"
and i said "ooohh"..and when we got into an little argument over what is harder being a girl or being a guy...and he said we have it easier..and when i said "no we dont bc we have to turn down guys who ask us out, i had to do it 5 times" and he said "w/ whoooo?"..like if he was affaird i was taken or something..ahh it drives me insane..-thx again
ok..i see that you're trying to be a true friend and help him out while hes in this situation by telling him the truth and to be himself i would have done the same thing..he should just suck it up and ask the girl and not involve you in it. You should try to talk to him one more time about this and if it doesnt work then you'll just have to say you can't help him out if he doesnt listen to you.Also tell him that you don't like to have him put you into her position because he only wants you to do this because your his good friend and he probably knows what you'll say so he can feel betta about himself..well it dont work that way!lol..bcuz you and this girl he's trying to get think totally different and if she's the girl for him then excellent but if not then don't feel guilty at all because you tried your best on helping him..hope this helps!

umm well yes toothpaste does work on zits bcuz it dries them up. A good thing to use or do is to wash your face twice a day with noxema and use acne pads at night before you go to bed..it seems to help and hope it does the same for you.
I have this friend and we hang out a lot. The problem is that he has a girlfriend 2 years older than him and im only one year older than him. They have been going out for about 3 weeks but he hangs out with me more then her. He always asks me to hang out on a day and then he asks me to walk to her house with him and hang out. He is always him self around me but he doesnt really be himself around her. What do u think is goin to happen between them and me and him. I would hate to ruin ne thing between them but he is always with me atleast a lot more than with her. and when he is with her, he always asks someone to go with him, usually me. I think that he just hangs out with you more because you are both really close and he feels more comfortable towards spending time with you other then starting a new relationship with this girl,thats probably why he asks you to tag along with her and him.He will eventually get the feeling of what a true relationship is between him and this girl but until then just keep being a good friend to him until he feels comfortable to do stuff with her on his own..the only thing is just don't try to be the 3rd player because that's not good either..hope this helps and if so do tell me..lol

hey..it seems to me like your old friends arent really your true ones,.if they are treating you like this it's plain pathetic! Hopefully you meet a better group of friends then you had at your new school..if you miss your old friends try talking to them again and ask them why they're acting like that to you ever since you moved away..hope this helps you!
what is the difference between seeing some one and being boyfriend girlfriend with them?
The difference is when your seeing a person your spending time with them getting to know eachother and seeing if you both could become one day in a relationship while boyfriends and girlfriends are already past that stage..hope this helps!

To make your pic smaller you can open it under Paint..then after it's up there at the top it will say IMAGE click there and then click where it says STRETCH/SKEW...in the box where it says STRETCH type in a certain number for horizontal and vertical lengths and then hit OK then it should decrease in size..
I've been trying to loose some weight. I know i'm not fat, but i'd just like to loose a few pounds. I started last week, and it went pretty well, but i've decided that this week i'm just not going to diet but start up again next week. I know i shouldn't but i have my reasons. But ever since i've been on this diet, all my friends ever do is hound me about it and make fun of me! they always steal my food and count the calories in it, and everytime i tell them to just stop getting involved with this, they tell me to just listen... they laugh at me and count my calories and tell me how fat i'm gunna get, and it's really really annoying and being on a diet is difficult enough since i have a terrible sweet tooth, but they make it worse. I've tried many times to tell them that it's not their place to hound me about what i'm eating, but they don't listen to me and make a big deal out of everything. I have no idea what to do and they're making this really difficult for me. any ideas what to do? sorry it's so long.
Tell them one last time about how you feel about what they do to you.only true friends will listen to you. If it gets worse just don't sit with them at lunch or wherever this is taking place and they might get the idea...hope this helps

The best thing to do is to tell him how you really feel about him and hope he shares his thoughts about you the same time..if it's meant to be it will happen..just ask him flat out if you keep waiting for a good time it could take a while so just go for it...

cats have really good senses of where they live and how to get back to where they came from..not to worry is the best thing but try to ask around the neighborhood of where it got out and ask as many people as possible..if your cat doesnt come back the thing to do is to let it go and get a new one.
I have chin lenghth brownish-blondish hair. on wed. i am getting a cut and color... i know i want my hair more blonde. but i want 2 colors. what colors should i get and does anybody have any idea for a good cut? or websites i want it shorter but not way shorter and lots of layers! i rate 5's all around!
for colors you should go with one and that would be blonde so that it will look natural and you can still have your true color under neath the blonde...i would recommend blonde highlights so you can leave the true color of your hair, and not too many or it won't look natural...A good cut for your length of hair would be short layers on top so it looks like your hair is a little longer then it originally was..
