Often times life is a challenge, and nobody knows that better than me. I wake up wondering if this is going to be a day my illness overpowers my meds, and either sends me flying like a bat out of hell, or leaves me laying on the couch like a wet dish rag.


Thank all that is good in the world that I have an excellent support system at home.

Hello. My best friend just broke up with her boyfriend and now she is hitting on my boyfriend. I dont want to tell her because she might moan and then she might tell him then he will dump me. Well, if you fear you've contacted an STD, it's best to go get tested right away. I certainly advise against putting it off at all.

As for how long it takes I'd wager depends on the STD. I'm not knowledgeable enough to give you an accurate answer on that. A health professional is your best bet to answer your questions.

If you can't get into the doctor, you can go to your county health department (assuming you are a US resident) and they should be able to help you out with getting tested.
Neither the health department nor your doctor will share any information with your parents (assuming you are a teen, and worried about that happening).

All I know for sure is the sooner you get tested, the better.

Yes.
Even in 15-30 seconds, there was mixing of body fluids, which in turn puts you at risk for STDs.

They do have flavored condoms you can get and use for oral sex.

I had a baby on January 28th, and he passed away. I had sex for the first time since then on February 12. I know I didn't wait the standard 4 to 6 weeks, so don't tell me that. We used a condom, but it broke. A friend of mine told me that I very well may be pregnant again because you are most fertile right after you have a baby. I was wondering if this is true, or if anyone has any information on if you really are very fertile right after. What are the chances that I am pregnant again so soon?

The only thing I can find on the topic is that you aren't less fertile. Nothing on you being most fertile, though. A good question to call your OB about. (Don't worry, they shouldn't scold you.)

Your chances are, at the least, just as good as any other time. I know there are kids out there who are 9 months apart.

Since you are using condoms, I'm guessing you aren't ready to try again yet, but I thought I'd still throw this out there:
Give it some time.
You body is not back to rights. Your hormones are not back to rights.

I'm pregnant now. I got pregnant 4 months after having my son. Its been hard on my body, and even worse, its been real hard on my mind.
I'm an emotional, hormonal train wreck. Depression is an uphill battle, currently.

If you do happen to be pregnant again so soon, it will be probably hard, but you'll get through it. You are stronger than you think.

i have decided that i want to get emancipated but how do i get a lawyer ect. and i need any advice on this subject.

Well, good place to start is with your county attorney. They will know if you even qualify for emancipation.
You should be able to consult with them free of charge.

"The new law also requires the minor to include certain information showing that s/he has demonstrated the ability to manage his or her financial affairs, including proof of employment or other means of support. The statute specifically excludes general assistance or aid to families with dependent children from being considered as "other means of support." 2 years ago i went out with this guy for 5months and after 5months i lost the "beginning relationship spark" but i thought i didn't like him anymore but i knew i still loved him. anyway i didn't know what i was feeling and i broke up with him. he was my first love and i was his. not too long after we broke up he got a new girlfriend and has been with her ever since but now two years later i miss him ALOT. last night i was crying hysterically. like screaming crying because i missed him so much and i want him back. i havent cried over a guy...ever! just when we broke up. we started going out on the day before valentines day (today) so im not sure if valentines day is bringing these emotions but last valentines day i was fine without him. we've been texting for about 2 months now but not talking about me liking him. just boring conversations but now his phone broke so we havent talked in a week and i can't call his house, that would be wayyyy too akward. i did request him on myspace though last night so im hoping to talk to him on there. BUT, these feelings for him aren't going away and i havent felt like this or missed him in 2 years but now all of the sudden i can't remember why we broke up. i really really really want to tell him that i'm still in love with him but he's been going out with this other girl for almost 2years. i need to get this off my chest but even though i would rather him be with me than her, i don't think im quite mean enough to tell my ex i like him right before he celebrates valentines day with his girlfriend.

what the heck do i do about this???


I certainly think it would be better to wait after the whole "Love Holiday" has passed.

You may be feeling as strongly as you do because of the upcoming V-Day. If you wait for it to pass rather than getting caught up in it, you'll be more likely to have an easier time figuring out what to do in your situation.

I'm not saying you should "go for it!" or "just forget it!" I'm telling you give it another week of thought.

Well, it could mean something serious is wrong, but it could also happen when you are constipated and strain too hard. Straining to force it can cause rectal tears and bleeding.
Yes, that can happen to a 3 year old as well.

She's off to the doctor, so they'll get it figured out as to what is causing it. :)

I'm not sure how their policies go on signing for packages, I've searched their site for that information to no avail.
I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say from my recent experiences, they'll leave the CD at the door.

My sister "Mary" has been married to her high school boyfriend "Kevin", who is 2 years younger, for almost 2 years, both are in their early 20's. Even before they were married Mary has supported Kevin because he believes that all the jobs that are available for him are beneath him. He is passive aggressive and manipulative to Mary and makes her constantly worry about how she won't upset him, she even goes as far as sitting in her car in front of their house and blows her nose as much as possible (she is very allergic, especially to cats and dogs which he insists they have) because he finds it disgusting when she blows her nose. He loses his garage door opener and car keys so he doesn't have to look for work or visit their daughter in the hospital. About 6 months ago she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl "Grace" who was 3 months premature. Grace is still in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and is progressing wonderfully but requires care that can make some squimish and she will need this care even after she is allowed to go home. Kevin has recently told Mary that the care his daugher needs is gross and he will not learn the care that she needs. Mary responded by telling him that he could leave because her and Grace did not need him. Since this Kevin has only gone to see Grace one other time because Mary forced him, and Mary has noticable stepped up in Graces care (even though she was very good about taking care of Grace before). Despite the obvious problems Mary doesnt really confide this information to our family (Our mother, sister, and I) because before the wedding we expressed our concerns about Kevin, even though especially since Grace was born we have concentrated on Grace and kept our comments about Kevin to ourselves. I know that there isnt much that we can do about the situation but any advice you could extend would help immensly.

Well, that guy sounds like a serious jerk. But you are right, there isn't much you can do.

You CAN be there for her. Help her out with the baby. If she needs a means to get away from him, help her out- make sure she and the baby have a place to go. (I'm sure you already know that.)

I can fully understand how it would be difficult to try to give the baby the care she needs. I'm sure she's feeling pretty much at a loss, what with the lack of support from the person who is supposed to be there for her the most.

If I were in her situation, I don't know what I would do. I'm sure I'd feel pretty lost in the world if my husband didn't want to be there for his child in need.

Keep concentrating on that little girl. She needs all the love and support she can get. Your sister does too, especially now.

I know that doesn't help much, but hang in there. I hope your niece does well, and I hope your sister realizes that they both deserve better.

I've been on the pill for over 8 years. I've never had breakthrough bleeding. Since starting the pill, my period has basically been like clock work.
I'm due to get my period next week, and I started bleeding today - I'm still on active pills.
Could I be pregnant? Could this be implantation bleeding?

It's always possible, but doubtful as long as you haven't skipped any pills.
Breakthrough bleeding in pregnancy is generally a short, light period.

Though you've been regular, you could be just having a freak, irregular month.

If your period becomes at least a week overdue next month, get a test.

I'm a bit underweight and I'm doing my best to gain. The problem is that I really don't like eating meat. I like eating chicken and turkey, but that's really about it. Is there anything I can do to bump up my nutrition without having to eat beef?? I do eat a lot of fruits & veggies, but are there any other foods I can try to replace beef?? Thank you!!

how you clean a brush/comb?

i did with hot water and put shampoon on it and clean out....idk if that thing to do.

when you brushing your hair, they have some left over dirt thing on it. if you don't know what that mean. yea little dirt thing.

i want keep my brush/comb clean and also how often do i need clean?

You could always do the old reliable and boil your comb. Boil a pan of water and toss in your comb for a few minutes.
I don't suggest doing this with a brush. My brush gets lint and such in it, I just replace it.

I don't know how often you should do this. I replace my brush about once a year.
