I'm Christina, and I'm 27. I tend to be brutally honest when I give advice or an opinion. I don't tell people what they want to hear but rather what they need to hear. They don't always appreciate it at first, but I usually get a thank you in the end.

I have 15 tattoos, and 8 piercings. I'm married and just gave birth to a baby boy in May. I'm currently a SAHM so you can find me taking care of my son and binge-watching television while he naps.

Whats the most influential on who we are--our genetics or our experiences?

Before you go reading all the stuff I wrote here's a quick summary. My girlfriend who I've been dating for a long time is still really shy around me and my friends and everyone else. She's kind of an airhead and I'm really smart, she thinks shes ugly but she isnt in the least.

As the title kinda says my girlfriend who I've

been dating since october 08 is still really shy

around me, ontop of every other person I know.

We're both 14 and really into eachother, we spend

like all of every day together and I love her so

much, the only problem is she's so shy around my

friends and I.

I don't want to ask her to stop being so shy (I

tried, it really upsets her), her dad bugs her

alot and she really doesnt like the fact she's so

shy but she just can't seem to get over it.

I'm not a shy person in the least, I'd go up to

someone I've never met and just spark a random

conversation and everything always ends up fine

but I dont think she seems to understand that.

She doesn't talk to ANYONE other than the few

friends she has of whom I can count on one hand.

I have more friends than I can count and we're

total opposites in that sense. I'm really smart,

and she always calls herself an airhead (which is

actually kinda true), but I try to make her feel

better about it. She also thinks for some odd

reason that she's really ugly when she isnt at

all and shes totally uncomfortable in her own

body and I dont get that because she's so pretty

I always try to be a nice guy and comfort her

when she's feeling sad and stuff and I just try

to be the best boyfriend I can be.

So can someone help me out with this?

Your girlfriend is insecure, and nothing you say or do will change that. You could give her all the compliments in the world & try your hardest to make her feel good, but the joy of a compliment only lasts so long.

Since your girlfriend is insecure, it's affecting her social life. She doesn't trust people, or she's just scared of what they'll think of her. It could be a lot of different things that would be held accountable for why she is the way she is.

I think you really need to sit her down and talk with her. Ask her any questions you need to and try your best to be understanding and comforting. Reassure her as best you can. Just don't be upset with her if she remains the same.

Yeah.

first of all, please dont lecture me. i know what im doin is wrong. but ive been smokin a pack a day for 3 years and its sad to say that my baby isnt enough motivation for me to quit. i went from smokin a pack a day to smokin 1-2 a day.

the thing is, i want/need to quit, obviously. ive tried lollipops, candy, takin deep breaths...i just cant do it.

what can i do to make me quit !?

Throw out everything related to smoking. Matches, cigarettes, lighters, etc. You need to throw it all out because if you keep it around, you will be tempted.

You really need to see a doctor. Doctors have methods to help you quit, but I honestly don't think you're fit to be a parent. If the life of your baby isn't enough to stop you, then you don't deserve to ever have a child.

Right. And because you are 16, that makes you incredibly selfish because lots of teens are, and this is why a baby should not be having a baby.

I'm pretty sure they're going to flip out. I can't think of any parent that would be supportive of their full blood children sleeping together. I know that if you two were my kids, I sure wouldn't approve.

I hope you realize that your baby is going to have lots of problems because it's inbred. It can have negative effects on the baby such as mental retardation, etc. I really don't think that you should keep it.

a guy i met at church is 17/m.
i hung out with him a couple weeks ago and idk if they quite liked him, they thought he was nice but they were unsure.
today we wanted to hang out and they said no so i told him no.

Yes, they are looking out for your best interest. This boy is 17, and you are 14. They are not going to leave a 14 year old with a 17 year old.

All guys in their teens only think about sex, not just guys who are 17. As far as wanting to be around you goes, he could be different & just enjoy your company, but for your safety, your parents are assuming otherwise & protecting you.

When the World Trade Center Twin Towers everyone thought that Osama Bin Laden had set out to kill many Americans. I remember feeling really scared on 9/11/01 and just shocked that we were being hit by terrorists. Well, now people are saying it was inside job or something and that our government really planned the whole thing out. I don't mean to be stupid but what do they mean by this? Are they right? Was 9/11 really an inside job?

An inside job? LOL, do you think they called Osama & were like "Hey, we just blew up our own buildings, and some of your guys just happen to be dead, can you take the blame? Oh, and then let us go to war with you over it?"

I doubt it. I'm pretty sure Osama did it. Don't believe this "inside job" shit. Why the hell would our own country kill our own people and destroy 2 of the most important buildings in the country while damaging another? That doesn't make ANY sense.

Is the Swine Flu vaccine available? I heard that the H1N1 virus was going to be a pandemic this winter flu season if we didn't get vaccinated. My friend told me that on the next season on American Idol that Paula Abdul was not going to be appearing. I asked her why and she said she couldn't remember. So, then, like two weeks later, she says that Ellen DeGeneres was going to be taking Paula Abdul's place on American Idol. okay this is really wierd, but whenever me and my boyfriend have sex i always end up getting really wet.. and like idk are you suppossed to get that wet. dose it make sex feel better for guys when girls get like that ? idk i just dont want sex to suck cause im like a waterslide down there.

Being wet is a good thing. It lets the male know that you're aroused & that what he's doing is right and that it feels good.

If you weren't wet, I'd actually be concerned. Your boyfriend won't think any different of you just because you're wet. He'd like it.

Okay so i'm going to print out a bunch of my pictures this weekend and i want to put them on my wall in a cool way..not just in like a big square. Last year i spelt out 'life' with them, but i want to do something new. Any ideas for words, shapes, or designs? thanks

You can try having pictures of yourself & friends/family along with pictures of things you like onto your wall in the shape of your name. It's things that make you to be who you are. :) It may be simple but it's kinda meaningful as well & that's what makes it special.

and I have been going running for 3 weeks
I'm not noticing much of a diffrence in my body and i need help so i can loose weight faster.

I have been writing down what i eat and
i stretch run sometimes i do swimming laps in the poop and crunchs.
I don't understans all these calories carps sodium all that stuff and thats proble my problem but if any of you can share your experince looseing weight and how you did it and how todo it fast that would be wonderful thank you:)

The reason you're not noticing a difference is because you're running. Running builds muscle & muscle weighs more than fat. There's your answer to why there is no difference in the way that your body looks.

You'll probably lose 2-3 lbs because Special K is formulated that way. However, eating nothing else would be unhealthy & you'll probably gain the weight back.

Special K requires that you exercise as well, so it won't work by just eating it alone. I suggest you try & lose your weight in a healthy way because this will only get you sick.

No place of employment will hire a 13 year old. Most places hire at 16-17 (sometimes 15 if you're lucky) & other places hire at 18 or 21 depending on the establishment. You can try babysitting or mowing the lawn. If you live in a place where the leaves fall from trees and it snows, you could rake leaves or shovel snow for money.

i am 13 years old, i am 5'8 and i weigh 123 lbs. and i desperatley need help hiding not eating from my friends. i am not looking for some lecture, because trust me i've gotten many of them from friends. can someone just please tell me how i can hide it, dont waste your time lecturing me because i'm not going to listen. my mom notcied a bit that i'm not eating but my dad didnt notice anything, but one day i was talkin to my friend and she said "how come you dont eat, is there a reason?" and then i regret saying it, but i said "no, you know i am just anorexic because i feel like it". and now some of my other really close friends know and they think i am eating now but i dont know how much longer i can hide from them. they want me to go see a docter and to get help and to tell my parents. someone please help me here!

There is no way to hide anorexia. Not eating in front of your friends looks suspicious. Your body changes a lot physically as well, so there really is no way to hide it.

I'm not trying to lecture you, but you're 13 years old & you're not doing anything good for a body that's still growing. You really need to tell your parents sweetheart. I'm not saying any of this to be rude or nosy or anything, but if you keep up being anorexic, you're going to die. Please tell your parents & get help. It's to save your life and make sure that you get yourself back to normal & back to being healthy.
