I'm not sure but I may be a victim of emotional abuse. I've been with my guy since high school, more the half of a decade ago, and we have a child together. Now he doesn't call me names and put me down to my face, though he's come close before, but it's like whenever he's in a bad mood he takes it out on me, he blames EVERYTHING on me that comes to his mind. It makes me feel really low. I think he does it to make himself feel better but then I feel like total crap and I hang my head down and sigh for like hours. Sometimes I get so sick to my stomach over it. It's just this vicious cycle that keeps on going. He acts nice again and I love that person that he is when he is nice so I forget everything and am able to relax again for a little while. But when he changes faces again I'm like, "Oh why do I put myself through this, here we go again." I feel like such trash for putting up with it. I just love him so much, and I know he loves me but wonder if there's a part of him that hates me because he has to blame so much on me. And if I say anything when he is angry, ANYTHING, it makes him angrier and he doesn't listen to anything I have to say. His father treated his mother like this and I think he's following in his footsteps. I don't want my son to think this is how a man is supposed to treat a woman. So I'm just wondering if this is considered emotional abuse. Thanks.

Hey, sweetie, anything that makes you feel uncomfortable is probably emotional abuse. I guess what I would do, is like, when he's nice and everything, try talking to him about it. If he cares enough like you say he does, he'll listen to you. And maybe suggest to him about maybe going to a doctor or something, and try to get help, but if he doesn't want to, don't push it. Sorry if this is long!

Ok, I liked this guy and my friend knew so she "hooked me up". The boy lives in my friend's hood. So, my friend said we were going out but we never once went on a date. So, one day he emails me and says, I can't go out with you now sorry." So it was kinda no big deal, but I was going to the movies w/ my friend and this guy. Anyway, I saw him and there was another girl (we are in diff. grades). So, this weekend my friend invited me over and I said yes. My so called "ex" will prob. be there. How can I act like I have moved on and I don't care bout him and I love my life w/o him? Please help, I really need it!

Ok, I guess what you could do, is like, if you know he's listening, talk about other guyz, cuz it'll make him good and jealous! Lol. Just don't look at him every now and then to see if he's listening, because then, he might catch on. Another good idea, is like, have a guy friend call you on your cell, and pretend to be like, your boyfriend! Or just have him come too. Good luck!

Okay, I ALWAYS feel like I am forgetting to do something. Most of the time, I go through the day, and nothing ever comes up where I'm like, "Oh yeah! That's what I meant to do earlier!" But it drives me CRAZY!!! It's like I can't relax until I remember what it is I needed to do, but I never think of anything. I'm seriously starting to think there's something wrong with me, like I have OCD or something. I guess my question is, is there anyone out there with the same problem? Or does anyone know what I can do? And if it helps, I'm an EXTREME overachiever with school and just an overall major perfectionist. I was thinking it had something to do with that, but I don't know. If you can help me, thanks.

Hey, lol, I forget things all the time too! Maybe you could try writing things down when you think of it, so if you forget, you can just look at what you read, and be like, "O ya!" Lol. That's what helps me! And if you think you need to, ya, go see a doctor, because there is sumthing wrong. Good luck!

Me and my ex-boyfriend still like each other all tho he wont admit it, his friend tells me he still does. Me and Andy(ex-boyfriend) went out for a week, but we both thought it was akward. He is a year younger then me but I dont care, and I am not realy sure, but I wanna go out with him again. How should I try to start a relationship again, I already started again by being his friend, but what do I do now, I dont know if he will except me asking him out again.

Hey, I've been in that situation before! It's hard, but maybe try talking to him about it. Or if you don't want to do that, you could try flirting with him and see if he flirts back, and if he does, then maybe that means he still likes you to, and it'll make things a lot easier. Good luck!

Hey okay i am 14 f... a lil over weight, okay actually pretty big n all! but neways i like this guy.. we will call him "Teddy" neways, I like him sooo much, and were friends n all but i have like a big attitude n stuff but yeah neways... he likes one of my best friends n she likes him.. i dont wanna interfear but i liked him first.. he says im not fat n im not ugly, but i know i am!! but also i mean i liked him first and it really makes me jealous! does anyone have anyways i can get into shape loose weight n look good.. so he likes me even more i am currently 5'7 and almost 250 lbs.. i know about but still help me out here!! maybe making a big change n my life will help.. i mean my life is a lil messed up with family n all at the moment so yeah! please help me out here i'm really confused .. thanks soo much! *K*

Well, I know you don't want to hear this, but it doesn't matter what you look like on the outside, it's the inside that counts! But I know what you mean, so I'm gonna try and help. What you need to do is make a daily routine. Like, do pushups, crunches, situps, go running, biking, swimming, whatever you like to do! Just make yourself a routine, and also try eating healthier! Like, don't just eat when you watch TV or when you're bored. And never skip breakfast, because that screws up your metabolism! Just try real hard, I know u can do it! Good luck!

I have a really weirdo stupid dog, lol. She bumped my head and now i have a HUGE bruise. Do you guys know how to get rid of a bruise fast? My parents and my older sister (Who's moving home today, YAY!), are gonna laugh at me and I hate it when they do. I also really don't want to go to school with the stupid bruise. Any help would be appreciated!!

I have this friend that thinks she sould be invited to everything.She thinks that I can only hang out with her. Everytime she calls to see if I wanna hang out with her, I just cant say no.She flips out when I say no and gos running to her mom, and she comes back saying that I have to hang out with her because her mom says I have to. I really dont wanna hang out with her because she is acts like she is the boss of everything,and we have to do what ever she wants to do. What should I tell her when she calls to hang out and I dont want to?? Please answer!

hey sry about ur friend. she's actin all weird. my guess is she's jealous that u have other friends and she only wants u 2 b friends w/ her. well, here's what i think u should do. just call her up and invite her over. when she comes over, just calmly explain how u feel, and talk it out, maybe she wants 2 talk 2 u about it. also, when u don't want 2 hang out w/ her, just say u have a dentist appointment or something. she can't make u hang out w/ her if it's something ur obligated 2 do. and as 4 her mom, well, that's probably where she gets it. i mean, who's mom makes their daughter's friend hang out w/ u? that's real weird. or, if u just don't wanna hang out w/ her ever, try getting caller ID, so u kno if it's her, and u don't have 2 pick up the phone, or on AIM, just block her. she'll hopefully take a hint. hope this helps. plz rate me, thx. muah! ~erin

I'm 16 & i admit, im currently head over heels with my best guy friend. He's loyal, truthful, funny, sweet, intelligent, gives me attention, flirts with me, & he's luckily single (actually-- neither of us have ever had a significant other.. which would suprise lots of people because -not to sound concieted- we're well liked & just plain good people.. and he for one is a GOOD catch) Anyways, we're kind of stuck in a rut. I am almost positive that he likes me, and i definately like him. Maybe like isnt even the word.. cause its stronger than that. But neither of us will make the first move. I know for a fact that both of us have gone through a situation where we do try to make the first move with another person & it ends up in a mistake or whatnot. So im afraid we're both too scared to take the initiative. I'm trying to ease my way into it.. taking baby steps & making subtle comments & trying to make him comfortable to make the first move himself. Any of you ever been in a situation like this?? Please help me.. i dont want to lose him & regret not taking my chance!! :o\

ok. ive liked this guy for a couple yrs now and i thought he liked me too. but ever since he started talking to my friends online, all i ever hear is how he likes them and how hott he thinks they are-- but he's never even met them! sometimes me and this guy (he's also my neighbor) walked around the neighborhood at night and it seemed like he liked me as more than a friend. but other times im jsut treated like the "annoying next door neighbor". ive tried to tell him how i feel by writing a note, but he read it threw it away. i know he knows i like him but he doesnt even acknowledge it in any way. i dont know what to do about this. it seems as if he ignores me when im around him; i dont know what to do!

He is full of energy at the moment, and I want to teach him tricks, the usual ones, but I don't know how.

The websites can confuse me a bit...I want to know what you all have to say on how to teach a dog, or recommend better websites?

hey, all u need 2 do is hold a treat in your hand and say the command loudly. she won't kno what 2 do @ first, so if you're teaching her how 2 sit 4 instance, push her lower back down, so she sits. then say like, good girl/boy! and give her the treat. eventually, she'll kno that when she does the trick, she gets a treat. this works w/ my dog. good luck! rate me plz.

Me and my little sister do not get along at all! like if she does one little thing i seem to get really mad at her and we end up getting into a bit fight, and the same way for her, if i do something wrong she yells at me too. she has her own room but im surprised if she has ever stepped foot into it lol, she says shes not going to sleep in there until there is cable hooked up, so basically she is in my room 24/7!!! she lays on the floor and watches tv and plays ps2 and leaves plates and cups all around my room n then my parents tell me to clean it up cause its my room but its her room too cuz she like LIVES in here! Please help!!!

hey hunnie, i sorta kno how u feel cuz my brother is always in my room 2 playing nintendo and stuff like that and he leaves his stuff in there all the time like his glasses and shoes and like u said, plates and cups and everything. but i can't do anything about it cuz i don't even have a door. i live in the loft and and there's no door, so basically he goes in there and steals my stuff sometimes. but try this. ask your parents if u can change ur doorknob 2 one that only unlocks w/ a key. so she can never get in as long as she doesn't have a key. this is what my brother and parents use 2 keep my brother out of their rooms. hope i helped. plz rate! erin
