Forgetful

Question Posted Thursday December 16 2004, 8:39 pm

Okay, I ALWAYS feel like I am forgetting to do something. Most of the time, I go through the day, and nothing ever comes up where I'm like, "Oh yeah! That's what I meant to do earlier!" But it drives me CRAZY!!! It's like I can't relax until I remember what it is I needed to do, but I never think of anything. I'm seriously starting to think there's something wrong with me, like I have OCD or something. I guess my question is, is there anyone out there with the same problem? Or does anyone know what I can do? And if it helps, I'm an EXTREME overachiever with school and just an overall major perfectionist. I was thinking it had something to do with that, but I don't know. If you can help me, thanks.

...Oh yeah, I DO keep a school agenda thing. And I write down EVERYTHING in it. I still feel forgetful though..

well i think that what you need to do is to take a daily planner/ organizer and whenever you remember that you need to do something then i think you should write it so you don't forget...xoxo

You need to be organzied! Get like a personal planner and buy lots of sticky notes. Ask people to remind you when you think you might forget. It's great that your an over-achiever I am too but sometimes you need to drop something or hang back a little. Take time to relax nad plan things out.

Hey, lol, I forget things all the time too! Maybe you could try writing things down when you think of it, so if you forget, you can just look at what you read, and be like, "O ya!" Lol. That's what helps me! And if you think you need to, ya, go see a doctor, because there is sumthing wrong. Good luck!
Hope I helped!

Well that kinda sounds like me but maybe you should say something to your doctor and see what they have to say about it.Its not just you cause everyone is kinda like that like me if that helps!
