The First Move-- we're just plain STUCK!
I'm 16 & i admit, im currently head over heels with my best guy friend. He's loyal, truthful, funny, sweet, intelligent, gives me attention, flirts with me, & he's luckily single (actually-- neither of us have ever had a significant other.. which would suprise lots of people because -not to sound concieted- we're well liked & just plain good people.. and he for one is a GOOD catch) Anyways, we're kind of stuck in a rut. I am almost positive that he likes me, and i definately like him. Maybe like isnt even the word.. cause its stronger than that. But neither of us will make the first move. I know for a fact that both of us have gone through a situation where we do try to make the first move with another person & it ends up in a mistake or whatnot. So im afraid we're both too scared to take the initiative. I'm trying to ease my way into it.. taking baby steps & making subtle comments & trying to make him comfortable to make the first move himself. Any of you ever been in a situation like this?? Please help me.. i dont want to lose him & regret not taking my chance!! :o\ <33

ok, you're rite 2 take baby steps cuz this will make him feel more comfortable w/ u. but i seriously think u should make the first move. think about it. if you're absolutely sure he likes u 2, and he's afraid of making the first move, think of how relieved he'll feel if u ask him first. and if u kno he likes u, then u don't need 2 worry about him sayin' no. well, hope i helped. if u wanna talk about it more on AIM, my sn is Shortie8959. muah! much <3 ~erin

You don't know if you don't ask. Ask him how he feels. Maybe play 20 questions and sneak that one in. It sounds like you are slowly building up to it even without our advice. If he cares about you, it won't matter if its awkward because he probably feels the same. Have you considered a pillow fight or tickle torture? It sometimes releases the tension long enough for you both to realize it just feels good to hold or touch somebody. Take it easy. It will come. Just don't get impatient.

weeell, U'R just gonna hav to make the first move.simple as that. watch a movie sumtime and wen u'r sure hes really into it just say casually 'u kno, i like you.' he'll either just look at you or say 'wut?' or say 'u do?' and you say 'yeah, i do.' and that will be it. he'll prolly be kinda dumbfounded for a couple o' minutes but if he tries to hold u'r hand after that halp him in the effort.
