Anyone have any diet tips or special meals to follow. I'm about 15 pounds over weight. Any kind of exersicing that i should consider? I want to look better when i get back to school

Hey!
Well, when you diet you NEED to follow these steps;
* Drink water, all the time. That should automatically 5 lbs off of you in 2 weeks or so.
* Exercise regularly, everyday. Walking, Jogging, or just doing some kind of exercising like Taebo - Pilates - Yoga.
* Eat three meals a day, no matter what. You can't skip a meal because it'll make you even more hungrier in the day and you'll eat more.
* Don't snack, treat yourself once a week or so to a soda or a bag of chips.
* It takes your brain 15 minutes to realize that you're full, so you have to eat slower then what you usually do, because it's simple to overeat.
* Don't throw up or just not eat, because in the long run, you can just gain a lot more back.

I've always wondered this...
Why do teens think that they "need" a boyfriend or girlfriend? What's so great about it?
I follow that at least in high school and college it's kind of a time to experiment with relationships and all, but I just don't really follow why teens think they "need" someone, especially since a lot of it seems to end kind of painfully for people.
Anyway, long story short, I'm confused about why people think it's something they need, why they seem to look so hard for it at a young age, and what's so great about having a boy/girlfriend.

Theres this boy that goes to my school. His bestfriend had told me that he likes me. I liked him too.
My friends(not with my permission) went up to him and asked"Do you like Kelly(me)" and he said"no, i dont like her" or "its not that i dont like her, i dont really know her"
I got confused so I went up to him myself(a little pissed off) and said"I need to talk to you, do you like me?" he just smiled and changed the subject and said"whats your name? so I told him and he just kept smiling at me.
Hes said hi to me a couple times and is ALWAYS staring at me, hes whistled at me once or twice.

I'm 16 and me and my boyfriend have been dating for almost a month now. We broke up for like 3 days but got back together. Everything has been going good...at least that's what I thought. Then this afternoon at school I went to the cafeteria and we were messing around. Well everytime I moved closer to him he moved away from me so I moved away and was like F*** you B****. As a joke but then he got all mad it seemed. He acted almost like a 4 year old child. When the bell rang he just walked away like normal and I tried to ask him what was wrong but he kept saying nothing. When I asked him to at least to say good-bye but he just walked away. At lunch he usually sits by me but he just walked past me and sat down on the other side of my friend Bobby. I went over to him and asked him what was wrong. He told me he had to move back to Chesterfield with his mom this summer. I left cause I didn't want him to see me cry. I don't know what to think. I can't believe his father would do that to him. I want to believe he is making this up but I don't know why he would except to break up with me. Can someone please help me. I'm begging you..please help me. What do I do?

oK, SORRY FOR THE LENGTH...ok well i was talking to my friend online(he is a guy lets call him Tod) and he was saying that him and his friend(lets call him Ben) called my house to see if i wanted to come over, but i wasn't there so i couldn't. And when i was talking with him online he said that they had drinks(we are all 14 by the way) and they wanted me to come over to have more fun, and when i asked what type of fun it was they said, "A girl and guys getting wasted not caring what they are doing, like any base" So i just went along with it and then they said next time i should come. I mean i want to come and i want to hang out with them, bc they are my really good friends, but i dont know what will happen if i drink...any advice?!!! I RATE HIGH FOR ANYONE WHO ANSWERS!!!!

My guy friends giving me hints that he likes me. There are plenty of them except he likes another girl & our whole class knows that he does (ever her). Sometimes it seems like if he likes her & could tell her then if he likes me why couldn't he tell me? I'm contemplating having the bariatric surgery done. I'm 140lbs over my "ideal" weight... and the diabetes and other probs are too much to deal with for the next 10 years. I've been this same size plus or minus 20 lbs for longer than that...and I have hated being heavy... now we have insurance that will cover it!! I think I need to do it... Just wanted to see where you stand on the issue... and see if you're supportive of the idea.

I don't think you need it at all!!!.. Weight loss surgery is for people who are grossely overweight, and you could die from getting it done. I'm also just against weight loss surgeries as well, because I think if you have a problem with your weight YOU should do something about it, like exercise and stuff. Your going to be putting your life on the line, spending alot of money just to lose about 20 pounds. When you could be on a diet and exercise all the time, and you could lose that 20 pounds in 3 weeks or something!!.. I wouldn't do it if I were you. Choose what you want to choose.
