oh mannn that's a long time to like someone! I don't really know how much it means to you -- like why you like him and all that -- I mean, you never know until you try. If he says no, his loss! he was missin out on someone that really liked him. if he says yes well then obviously he knows whats good for him. maybe you should start out by being good friends with him and getting to know each other more that way and then asking him to prom. if he'll go to prom with you theres more of a chance that he'll want to be with you.

There has been recently a bomb scare at my sister's high school. A custodian found on the wall : MHS WILL BLOW UP 3/22". Now they are investigating the whole school, screening backpacks, and sending in bomb sniffing dogs. Should we let my sister go to school on the 22nd? Or stay home for a few days because it might happen on another day.

Oh wow. there were bomb threats at my school for a week last year and they made everyone go outside everyday. nothing ever happened but a fe people did get arrested. let her stay home that day and if everything seems clear send her back the next day. let her have her cell on and with her at all times too.

Hey,
I've been with my boyfriend for nearly 18 months now, and before recently all we had done was making out. I'm 15 (16 in 2 months) and he has just turned 16.
However, he's started fingering me and I've been giving him hand jobs and stuff. I'm really happy about this, I'm ready and everything, and he waited until I was completely sure, so all is good.
But what is your opinion about doing these things and at what age? How young is too young? What age do you think is okay for these kind of actions?

In my opinion, you are at the right age to do these things. anyone under 15 or 16 is too young but after 18 months and almost being 16, you are fine. as long as you dont rush into other things after this you are fine. theres not risk of pregnancy or stds really so i don't see anything wrong with it.

I use a self tanner on Saturday mornings and Sunday mornigns ONLY because the smell normally fades away by Monday a little...
I was wondering if there is anything I can do besides shower to make it go away?
Or, I can change brands -- If anyone knows any brands that don't smell bad (from experience!!) that would be very appreciateddd!
And does anybody know the ingredient(s) in it that make it smell?

the jergens stuff smells and stains... i used to use it all the time and i got so sick of it so i use the sally hansen stray on stuff now and it works for me. it doesn't smell bad either.

AHH i have never been sooo pissed off in my life.

ok so the thing is that im about to turn 16 in june and i have a younger sister who is 14 right now. ANd she said that our parents are gonna let her do Drivers ED this summer. AND They wont let me.
AND im GONNA be 16. SO not only they will let her Do it before me BUT she is YOUNGER too. HOW EFFIn unfair is that. I just like wanna KILL myself now. IM soo pissed off.

what can i do to stop this from happeing.
cuz there is NO way that she is gonna take drivers ed before me. THERE is no way.
how can i make my parents make her take it when shes also 16.

you can get it before her... at 16 in some states you dont have to take it. get your permit before she does by taking the written test... read that book like your life depends on it, pass it and then you can take behind the wheel before she does. wow i don't even know your family and I'M even pissed off so i feel ya!

Im mormon. I can't wear shorts/skirts/dresses clothes above the knee. But all my other mormon friends wear them. Its ah-nnoying!! I really want to wear them because I feel left out and not pretty. i have such pretty legs and body its just how can I wear short skirts?? What should I do?? Thats why I hate summer. Im jealous I just cant stand girls wearing them and NOT me. HELP!!

If all your mormon friends do, why can't you? are you just really into your religion? like us this rule for everywhere or just places of worship? you can try wearing them just like that or with leggings. i think you could pull off wearing a skirt over the knee as long as its decent, not like super short and destroyed. this spring is good for you... dresses are in style and theyre not all super short. at the knee babydoll dresses are cute or just slightly over the knee too. if you need other ideas let me know, i dress pretty conservatively too.

It's almost the summer, and I just realized that I'm not going to see my boyfriend for at least three and a half months. I'll be able to talk to him on the phone, but we'll be really far away from each other (I'm going to be in the middle of the woods).

Our relationship has been great, we're moving in together in the fall, and we're really in love with each other.

Does anyone who has been in a similar situation have any advice on how to make it work?

In currently long distance with my boyfriend & to make it work, we talk on the phone a lotttt or at least once a day just to say goodnight & i love you. we have a journal that we send back and forth with all kinds of lovey dovey things and just send each other random things. you really have to trust each other and pick yor battles... don't fight over little things.

I don't understand, like I study for tests, the night before, [I can't study for thing in days advance] I like splitting it up into little groups, during the day, but anyways, I make flashcards. & I get them all right. I tottaly know them inside & out. Then when the test comes, the next day, I forget it like all. What do you think is the problem? Do you think I freak out or something..?

because tests are a big part of your grade, & i'd really like to know what im doing wrong.

I have the exact same problem! i make my flashcards and learn them the day of the test... any sooner and i just forget them. so basically keep doing what you are doing but do it that day. you might need to change what you are doing all together but i think you should be fine.

I'm having a sleepover with 3 of my close friends (all girls, 14 yrs old) and 3 of us want to pull a prank on the other girl while she's sleeping. We don't want to do anything major, but we want to do something funny. For example, putting whipped cream all over her face/hair would be a little too far, because she's obsessed with her hair and would go nuts when she wakes up with it all over her face (plus she might wake up while we're doing it!). Does anyone have any ideas??

Draw on her face with Sharpie and go as crazy as you want. let her freak out for a few minutes and then tell her how to get it off. (hand sanitizer, soap, water, rubbing alcohol.. should do the trick)

22 female/big sister.

Yesterday my 11 year old sister called me up in tears because mom wouldn’t stay out of ‘her business’. She was hazy on the details, but from what I can gather, there is some bullying going on at school, and knowing my sister, she probably isn’t only a victim is all this.

Normally I can give my sister some really good advice, but this time I was rather stumped, probably because in my opinion an 11 year old doesn’t have their ‘own business’ beyond choosing how to spend their allowance and whose friend they are going to be. Privacy and autonomy are something they are in the process of earning, not something they receive just because they understand the ideas now.

But now, as I reflect on it, I wonder if I’ve become one of those judgmental adults who has forgotten how to relate to adolescents…

I gave her the normal “Mom is doing this cause she cares and no one expects you too solve all your problems by yourself” speech, but what I really wanted to say was “Well if you don’t get into stupid fights you wouldn’t have this problem!” Am I wrong to think that her expectation of being left alone in this is unrealistic and what would you have told her on how to deal with our mom getting involved with her teachers and school about some issues she was having with an others girls?

I have a younger brother that is 13 and i remember being 11 and i really think there are some things that are just "their business". I never told my parents anything about my friends or bullying and i took care of it on my own and it worked out. I don't know if I was just mature for my age or what but i never needed an adult to step in. I DO remember the kids that always brought their moms into arguements and they all ended up with not-so-many friends because they were the "babies" and the "squealers" and even if they weren't like that... no one really liked them anyway. That's just how I remember 5th & 6th grade... Ihope it gives you a broader view of her "drama".

Hey can you give me on your opinion if it's ok to wear a white dress like this for a grad or prom? aand why or why not, pros and cons? I not many people don't wear white dresses to a grad but the colour gives off an innocent look..

I know of 2 different high schools that a white dress is actually mandatory for graduation so it's a definate yes in my book.

Hey I have a problem. I am a CHRISTIAN and BAPTIST and there is this boy I really like he's cute, nice, kind, funny, understands me, and he doesn't just judge me on my outward aperance atleast it seems that way. Well, I really like this guy but, he's not a CHRISTIAN!!! And, I've tried to let go of him beleive me but, it's not that easy!!!I told him I din't like him anymore but, then I would cry cry cry and cry. Every love song semmed to remind me of him and I couldn't bear to see him at school. I asked GOD why are you doing this to me help me stay strong did I ,no!!! I gave in and I am madly inlove with him again. And, when I say madly man I mean it!!! He's always there for me. I don't know what to do i can't witness to him beacuse if i did he would only become a CHRISTIAN for me not because he wants to or understands that he needs to. I've PRAYED to GOD and asked HIM for HELP. And, I know i need to be PATIENT. But, i feel that evenwhen GOD says let go of him i refuse not to and won't.In just need advice on how to let go of him or is there a way to make both god and this guy happy. I agree with the person below me - don't judge him. Is he just not participating in a faith right now? just because he is not a christian does not mean he doesn't have morals and isn't a good person. as long as he doesn't put down your faith or worship satan, i really don't see what the problem is. interfaith marriages are common now. If he wants to change into the faith for you, that means he's really serious... you wouldnt change your faith for someone if you werent completely in love with them and i don't know how thats a bad thing. if you need anything else, let me know. This one guy at school always makes me feel very uncomfortable. He comes into my class when it's not even his class to harass me. He says things like, ooo she is so hot, I'd like to have her in bed, I wonder what she would sound like and than he moans really loudly.He was even like, watch her ass cheeks swing back and forth. Worse yet, he has like 5 guys who backed him up laughing and saying yeah. I know he was being mean about it. But either way, I still dont deserve to be treated like that if I dont want to be. I was to afraid to tell the teacher in fear of being called a rat or it being even worse. I dont want to jump down in the gutter with him and I dont want to fight. I thought things would get better in high school, but really it's not. It seems worse. All I want to do is go to learn, and get my diploma. Thats it. What should I do? Im a sophmore in high school
