you can get it before her... at 16 in some states you dont have to take it. get your permit before she does by taking the written test... read that book like your life depends on it, pass it and then you can take behind the wheel before she does. wow i don't even know your family and I'M even pissed off so i feel ya!<3

Was it just her that told you that or did your parents say it as well? It's important because if they've not said anything, she could be trying to get a reaction out of you with no basis in the truth.
If they have also said this to you, you need to talk calmly to them and find out the reasons. It may be something that you are not aware of.
Collect all the facts and then base any discussions around them. Always stay calm and if there is a problem for them, try to work towards a compromise. If you can show them you can act maturely it should go some way to them agreeing to letting you take it.

In most stares you need to be 15 to get a learners permit and 16 to get a drivers license. I took driverd ed in high school. I suggest you go to the DMV get the drivers ed handbook. Read it a dozen times then take your written test. If you pass you will be given a learners permit. Your sister being 14 can not take the written test.
In most states you do not need your parents with you to take the written test to get a learners permit. In some states it's illegal to have a 14 tear old behind the wheel.
When your parents enroll her in drivers ed you should tell the teacher your sister is 14.

Well, then that means your waiting 2 years because she can't even get her permit when shes 14, unless the driving laws are different where you live.

Make her sound like a bad driver. SHe's 14 anyway so she wil probably fail. I think you should be very persuasive about it.
