This one guy at school always makes me feel very uncomfortable. He comes into my class when it's not even his class to harass me. He says things like, ooo she is so hot, I'd like to have her in bed, I wonder what she would sound like and than he moans really loudly. He was even like, watch her ass cheeks swing back and forth. Worse yet, he has like 5 guys who backed him up laughing and saying yeah. I know he was being mean about it. But either way, I still dont deserve to be treated like that if I dont want to be. I was to afraid to tell the teacher in fear of being called a rat or it being even worse. I dont want to jump down in the gutter with him and I dont want to fight. I thought things would get better in high school, but really it's not. It seems worse. All I want to do is go to learn, and get my diploma. Thats it. What should I do? Im a sophmore in high school
sugarplum07 answered Saturday March 10 2007, 7:07 pm: You need to tell a teacher AND a principal IMMEDIATLY. This is a HUGE deal! Especially since he has other guys backing him up. That stupid prick should be suspended from school. You should NEVER be afraid to turn to adults in your school for help. So what if they call you a rat? You've done NOTHING WRONG AT ALL. You don't even have to acknowledge him. Just tell an adult you trust what he's been doing and then ignore him.
My personal way of dealing with it would be to get him alone lead him on, and then grab his crotch as hard as I could and tell him if he EVER says stuff about me like that again I'd rip it off. But then again, that could get YOU in trouble and you don't need that. That's why the world is so unfair these days.
Seriously, though, sexual harassment is a BIG BIG deal. No one deserves to be treated that way and as soon as your principal finds out, that guy could face something as serious as expulsion and so could the guys going along with it, so make sure to give the adult all the guy's names who have done it. 1. Talk to your school counseler. Although it may be uncomfortable, most likely this isn't the first time they had to deal with something like this. And trust me, they WILL take care of it. Just make sure that you tell them exactly how bad it really is.
2. Tell your parents. Your mom or dad will handle it with the school, especially if you are too afraid to talk to an administrater yourself. Tell them that although you know he is just an immature freak, it really makes you uncomfortable.
3. Call a hotline. There are many types of abuse hotlines that you can call. Try looking one up on google or something. The best part is, they are most likely anonymous so you dont have to worry about being called names. Also, they probably give alot better advice than I can.
4. Confront him. This is probably just the last resort. This might lead to him making fun of you even more. Just tell him he's just jealous because he can't even talk to ladies. Much less get a date.
Guys can be so shallow. What he is doing is WRONG. Please don't let it keep going on, and PLEASE dont let him interfere with your education, you have the right to a good education too. Hope this helped! [ acetrace92's advice column | Ask acetrace92 A Question ]
