dry lips

hi, i was wondering how to get rid of dry lips.theres always a layer of dry skin on them.i always try chapstick but it dont last. like in a couple minutes they'll get dry again.the only time the dry layer is not on them is when i like scratch it off..is there any kind of medicine or something i can do to stop this?

I use this trick myself. Get a little sugar (about a teaspoon) and mix it enough water to make a paste. Use it to exfoliate your lips VERY gently. Then rinse it off with warm water (DONT lick it off; it'll make your lips crack more).


Afterwards, apply a wet lipgloss or balm. Try Blistex, Vaseline, or even liquid lipsmacker. I use Squeezy Lipsmacker Pink Lemonade- it moisturizes and doesn't taste like chemicals.

I dont think that there is any medicine, but you should just try good old fashion Vaseline. In my opinion, it is way better than Chapstick.
