How young is too young?

Question Posted Sunday March 18 2007, 10:38 am

Hey,
I've been with my boyfriend for nearly 18 months now, and before recently all we had done was making out. I'm 15 (16 in 2 months) and he has just turned 16.
However, he's started fingering me and I've been giving him hand jobs and stuff. I'm really happy about this, I'm ready and everything, and he waited until I was completely sure, so all is good.
But what is your opinion about doing these things and at what age? How young is too young? What age do you think is okay for these kind of actions?
Thanks :)

18 months is a long time. As long as the two of you are comfortable with the whole situation and are RESPONSIBLE about it, there's nothing wrong with it. It would be different it you were dating a week and starting fooling around. I personally don't have anything against teenage sexuality as long as the two are smart about it and take the necessary precautions.

i think that as long as you know hes not taking advantage of you, and you both feel comfortable and are ready to do stuff...then your not to young.

In my opinion, you are at the right age to do these things. anyone under 15 or 16 is too young but after 18 months and almost being 16, you are fine. as long as you dont rush into other things after this you are fine. theres not risk of pregnancy or stds really so i don't see anything wrong with it. <3

personally i think that whenever your ready to do these things, that is the age for you that is 'okay for these kinds of actions' you hear about like elementary school kids doing sexual things nowadays and, well, i think that is way young but since we're in high school and young adults..experiencing things like this is ok. just make sure you dont do something that you will regret.

You're fine to be doing that stuff at your age.
Only if your ready, that you should go onto sex.
18 Months is a long time, = ] So its completely normal. I know a 12 year old who gave a 14 year old a hj. So you're fine. =]
