I'm Almedina. I'm foreign, and I'm pretty much ready to handle whatever life throws at me. Ha, pretty random that I go from being foreign to life,but anyways. I've had this column for about two yearsnow, and I don't update it as I should, or want to but with school and this crazy teenage life of mine, it gets pretty hard to do so. I care too much about things I shouldn't and not enough about the MOST important things in my life. I'm very annoyed with people at times, and tend to just block everyone out. You're in a tough position that everyone once or twice in their life will experience. Try to find out what happened and why he decided not to have feelings for him. Obviously since he decided to be a jerk and just drop you like that, he isn't WORTH your time and you should like someone who will like you - and everything about you. To get over someone is hard and everyone finds their own way to deal with it, but try to avoid him and just not think about him as much. Hang out with other people - especially other boys :] Don't be too hard on yourself, there's plenty more fish in the sea babe.

okay so i like this guy alot we use to be really close people thought we were going out & stuff.

If I was in your position, I'd try to talk to this one one more time. If he still doesn't listen, then you can't really do much BUT don't make it seem like you don't care anymore. Let him find out on his own what you've been trying to tell him for himself. He'll realize that you were just trying to look out for him, and he'll see that. He'll experience the feeling of betrayal and that's when you should step in and be the friend he'll need. Hopefully he'll realize that you're the one he really likes. Good luck!

15/f..i sweat a lot. i can almost never wear shirts that are tight under the arms because i sweat and it shows..do you know a certain deo that i can use that can prevent so much wetness (they dont smell, they just get really wet) haha thanks!

Try Secret Clinical. I saw it on a commercial, and I believe it's really good. It's not too powdery & has a fresh smell. You just apply it at night, when your body's sweat production slows down, & then it'll keep you fresh throughout the next day. Thing about it is, that it WON'T completely stop the sweating but it will reduce it. Plus it's pretty cheap [about 10$ dollars max.]

The way you can get that hairstyle is to tease, or back comb ( as some people call it ) your hair. If you don't know how to do that, basically what you do is take a bunch of pieces of hair & you take a comb and brush down on your hair towards your hair instead of down, & it creates volume & that 8o's look. Then just spray some hair spray (Aussie Hairspray is the best) and wha-la ! you're done. [:

& About the dress, I have no clue where you can get that kind of dress, but just having an idea of that kind of dress, and going to a bunch of stores will help you look for something basically like that.

Well I really really want to get a radio on my iPod nano. But how? Is there a way I can? There's a certain radio channel in my area that I want, but iTunes doesn't have certain radio stations. So can anyone tell how I can do this or give me a website to do so? Or if there's a radio thing on iTunes that someone can recommend and has popular artists, etc, like Avril Lavigne, FOB, MCR, Green Day, etc, I don't really like rap or country. Thanks!

I'm sorry to say it, but iPod's do not have radios. There isn't a site where you can get a radio on your iPod eiher. iPod's were made so people could create their own per say "radios" without all the commercials and such. Sorry.

Okay, so I just started hanging out with a new group of guys like 2 weeks ago. All my friends have been hanging out w/ them their whole lives. I can't warm up to them. I get all cramped up when i see them and i don't put myself out there. I know i can do it because i'm super flirtatious and outgoing w/ other guys and people. Its just this certain group, i just can't do it. They aren't super attractive or anything some of them are actually ugly but they have that confidence level that i can't get over. Well "being yourself" is the #1 answer, but of course everyone always wants to hear something they can do to better themselves. You can't really "make" yourself feel confident, you just have to be it because if you push it it'll feel even worse. It's probably just because you haven't really gotten to know them that much. So just keep hanging out with them, & eventually you'll be fitting in no time. Oh and also, when you do hang out with them and your other friends, forget their there & just be crazy & have fun and don't let anyone tell you to do so otherwise (:

I think you just feel awkward around him because of the fact that you guys hooked up and now you're going out with his friend, making it almost more awkward. You'll get over this odd feeling after a while. I know how you feel, most girls feel that way when they've hooked up with a guy or even liked a guy but it didn't go anywhere. You're right. You can't tell her what to do or else you'll stop being her friend. You could tell your brother that just because your friend is "sleeping" around doesn't mean it has to do anything with you because you're not HER. If he still insists on you not being friends with her, try talking to your mom FIRST, & just explain to her that you're not going to follow your friend's choices and that you know your boundaries and you intent to keep them. Having sex with more than one person in a week, does not at all means make you a bad person. It may be classified as a bad decision but it's your decision after all so no one should judge you for it. You shouldn't feel bad or guilty because it certainly does not mean you're a whore.

I don't see why your friend automatically said she wouldn't be your friend just because you started to like her ex-boyfriend. She's being unreasonable, that's for sure. If you kept track of every guy that you liked & his ex-girlfriend ; you'd never find a boyfriend. Honestly your friend will eventually get over it, but you have to understand that she is hurt and mad, and it's not that she's mad at you ; she's hurt at the fact that he's seeing other people. It's, I guess, a reaction people get when they see their ex's with others. You didn't even know that they went out before so it's not like you PLANNED to go after this one particular guy. Your other friends shouldn't turn against you because you're right ; it's NOT their business, & if your friend goes and involves everyone in your business then she's not someone who you can trust. I don't think you should stop liking this boy, because I think your friend is throwing this a little out of proportion, but let her calm down a little, and then try talking to her about this again. Oh yeah you sound very much like me in some ways, lol. If you want to be known as the sporty chick, then just dress more girly when you go out and stuff. That's how I am. When I'm playing sports and stuff, I'll wear the tshirt and short kinda outfit, not saying that I don't wear this on a daily basis outside of sports but once in a while, dress really cute. Since your cousin is coming to town, dress really cute when you guys go out to places, & stuff like that.
