He is kind of overwieght, but sweet and fun to talk too. I really feel happy around him, and always try to talk to him. But at my school he is regarded as a geek, or a nerd by everyone. And I think he likes me too! I'm not quite sure I'm ready to date, but how can I have him keep liking me until I am?

I felt the exact same way not long ago.
My advice is to tell him this so he'll know why you're not trying to go any further. Also, don't desert him or leave him for your other friends until you're ready. Oh, and don't worry about what people say about him. If you really like him, you'll like him no matter what anyone thinks of him:) Stay with him. Hope I helped you.

hmmm... i would say yea, but you can never tell on a computer. when ever you see her, ask her face to face, and make sure you study her expression after you ask her and when she answers you. Hey, okay this is kinda weird for me to ask...but is it wrong for you to have a bf, or well, not a bf..but I mean at my skewl when you say bf, it's someone you just say you're goin out with, and not actually do anything besides hold hands, and im not sure but maybe kiss..at school...thats it..so is it wrong for you to have one without your parents' permission...like,i mean, not the kind where i haven't asked them cause I'm afraid of their answer, I mean I haven't asked them cause I KNOW their answer, because their not American and they have values and all that...but see I was raised in an American or International way, and so at my school...and there's this guy I like on and off..and he flirts with me...and all that. but even for the future..an I asked my sister if it's okay with her anyway coz even though she's not allowed she had 2 before without my parents finding out, but she said no, it's better not to...so is it okay for me to go ahead when they've all said no, because it's not fair, and it's my life..and even though I'm young, I know it has nothing to with age, they will never let me have a bf in their right minds...i dunno...life is pretty horrible for me right now..my parents are really mean besides that too...so i'm confused. Even though I wanna tell you to go ahead with it, since you said that your sister said no, I would tell to listen to them. She's gone through this before, and she knows.

Okay, sorry to say, but it does sound like he isn't all that interested in going out with you.
When he asks for you to go to the dances with him, it's probably because he needs someone to go with, and if he had another girl, he'd go with her. And the fact he only went out with that girl for a week doesn't help. Don't wanna be rude, but I think you should leave this guy alone before you get TOO attached. Hope i helped:)

hey ok here is the thing i know its a lil confusin but plz try and help..last night 2 of my closest friends one as my best friend and one whom i know and im a lil close with who i saw twice, they both r in 8th then me so there still in the jr. high so i dont know what goes on between them since im in the high school now. well my friend comes on and tells me that my friend slapped him across the face and called him a jack@$$...but then again i dont blame her bc i would have done the same thing most likely...the thing is that i still want to be friends with him but i dont know if i want to, i dont want my BFF to get mad..though we have gotten into a fight over the summer me. vs. her n my X-BFF and anyways we became friends again and all n my X-BFF was ok with that...now i dont know if i could do this because i miss him and i do want to see him again..i just dk where i could go to hang out with him n still be friends bc im not allowed to go to the movies with guys nor can i go to their houses or have them over till im 16...we have gone to the mall twice but she was with us so i dont think the mall would be such a gr8 idea...he said well see how things work out between us and well work from there on where we can see each other or we would just have to wait till next school year to see each other again..which i dont know bc she'll also be in the school with us and i really know what to do...
i know she liked him and i liked him too @ the time but he was in a grade younger so i know i wouldnt be able to see him much till next year...so i just backed off think i may like him...i dk i how that would effect her..i asked them both if they would ever be friends again..she said she didnt know n he said he doubts it...im feel like im stuck in the middle of this and i dont want to take sides..since i was right there on-line in the chat when the whole fight broke out.

btw he is in a grade younger...yet he is 2 months older so he is now 15

Well, that was kinda confusing, so I'm sorry if I misunderstood any of the info.
But you're in a really sticky situation, so I'll try to help:)I think you shouldn't kill your friendship between you and him. You really like this guy, so you could try to be friends again.
But you should ask your friend if she wouldn't mind you being friends with him.

She doesn't control your life and who you wanna be friends with; but if she doesn't like the idea and you really don't wanna lose her friendship, then she may have some control then.
So, all you can do for now is ask her. Then weigh out the two people. Which could you imagine you being friends with for a long time?
If she's a good friend, then she shouldn't try to stop you from being friends with anyone, whether she likes them or not. You don't have to feel like you're stuck. I really hope things work out, and I helped you! Need anything else? Feel free to come back:D

My brother in law is living with me and my husband.
I don't mind that he's staying in our house. What I can't stand is that he is messy. He'll go into the kitchen and get something to eat and not put it away. He'll get a glass of juice and not wash his glass. Not only does he not wash it, but he leaves it on the kitchen table for me to do it.

What do you suggest I do?

I've dealt with people like him before.Even if he's your brother in law, you have to tell him that you don't appreciate him doing what he's doing. Don't be too hard on him, like making him do dishes every night or giving him chores, but tell him about it, then see if he's trying to improve.
If he isn't, then is the time for you to be more strict. Sit and have a talk with your husband. You two will work something out. Hope I helped you any, and good luck!:D

but, I think your friend and him have grown apart or whatever, but she might still like him.

we are doing a brosure for class on a planet and my planet is mercury and i put "Come and swim the nice beaches of Mercury. It gets very hot so

I have a list of names that I like a lot. For my kids. *(I've always loved names, and making them up, and stuff)* Im Almost 15, and wont be having kids for atleast 7 more years, but i would still like to know some of the names for boys and/or girls that you all like! and you can add middle names too, if you so desire. Ok well i have these two bff's in the world and they'd never do n e thing to hurt me! So one of my bff's has another friend witch is totally fine. Well, I would say to dump this girl, but, give it one more chance, and tell her that if she keeps acting crazy like this, you'll end the friendship- and you mean it. If she is really a friend, then she'll come around to her senses.

There's this girl named Maria. She's a good friend of mine, and today she got in deep trouble with our Health teacher because she gave answers to someone else, and hes failing her for the marking period with a 50. You should definitely tell someone. Most people blow it off because they think that person's not serious, but they later regret it.
So please tell someone, so your friend could get help. If you really cared about your friend , then you would do this for her.

Not to be rude, but I don't like the way he sounds. He asked you to do him.... I think he's only after one thing. Even though you do have a lot of feelings for him, he's way too old(he could go to jail) and not to sound mother-ish, but he has too much going against him: he already asked you to do him, he has a girlfriend, and if he's messin with you, he's cheating on her, so imagine what he would do to you!
Now... about your friends, I think they're trying to do you a favor not because they're jealous, but they don't wanna see you get hurt! Listen to them!:D
About your mom's rule: you DON'T need a guy in your life at all times. Guys can be a heartache and a handful most of the time, and there's better things besides them. Trust me!:) So, don't dump your boyfriend. Dump that older guy, and try to get over him. Or you can just be friends. Just don't do him. But, if you do anyway, protect yourself.

well let me tell u the whole story well it all happened today. well i went to the theater with my friend and her family and stuff well we waited for her mom,dad,sister, and brother and when they got there he just kept looking at me. well when the movie finish we went outside and stuff and i notice he was still looking at me of course i was blushing and felt funny!! well me and my friend left with her aunt to my friends house well we got locked out and stuff so we waited for her mom and family to come well like an hour later they came and her brother kept looking at me and yea i thought he was hot.well they were cleaning thier house and every time he passed thru my friends room he always look and stuff well we went to a gig (a party for rockers)well we got there and me and him started talking to each other and then my friend went out to hear the band and me and him just sat and talk thats when he took out a bottle cap saying if it lands heads we are just friends but if it land tail we have to make out i was cool with it and we made out alot and i ask him was he just making out with me for fun or because he liked me and he said noo am no doing it for fun and i dont understud what he said but i think he said i like you or i love you and after he said that he kiss me in the cheack and we just started talking again and we tried to hold hands but we didn't want any body to see us we did hold hands but just for a while. now i really like this guy but am not sure if i should tell my friend?? And i dont know if i should start a real rlationship with him??

hmmmm...i think he definitely has feelings for you, but just to be sure, wait a while before telling your friend or before starting a relationship. Just to double-check that he really is interested.
Going out with your best friends brother, i don't think is really that bad.
But once you are sure you feel comfortable and this guy's for real, then you can tell your friend and see what she says. If she agrees, then you can move on to the relationship thing.
But if she disagrees, there must be a good reason because she lives with him, and maybe she'll know something about him that you don't(he's a player..etc) but he sounds like fair game, so good luck. I hope I helped you any:)

This might sound harsh, but I definitely don't think you should do anything with this guy. Never let a boy come between you and your friend.
If he's coming on to you behind her back, there's no telling what else he'll do behind your back if you guys were to hook up.
But for the moment, try to refuse him and tell him that you're not interested anymore. Tell him you don't wanna hurt your best friend. Since they're going out for so long, it's definitely gonna hurt your friend.
Don't tell your friend anything yet- unless he keeps annoying you.

Whenever I needed to get over someone, it was hard, but it was easier if they had done me wrong a lot.
I just think"I don't want someone who made me unhappy at all." And remember that you deserve someone who can make you happy ALL THE TIME, and you don't deserve to be cheated on.
Arguing is common, but too much is really too much.
Just try not to think of the good things, and it shouldn't be too hard. Good luck:D

hmmm... if me and my friends were in the mall or something, i would like for a guy to not stalk us or anything, but come up to us and just be casual, and let me know he's interested.
Just don't say anything sexual or somthing, because that will freak them out. It shouldn't be too hard, even though you might get blown off a couple of times. Good luck!

Don't worry. I used to be exactly like that. But then i was happy that I wasn't tied down and could flirt whenever I wanted.
But please don't go and grab any guy just to say you have one too. Search wisely, for if you choose the right one, your relationship may last longer and your friends will be the jealous ones.

Every time someone says I wanna go to Mardi Gras, I'm always like "ME TOO!" but the truth is, I don't know exactly what its for and what you do there. I've only seen clips of people partying on the street... I think it would be fun, but what is it your doing and is it some type of celebration of some sort? It looks fun, but what is it?

Well, since I'm from La, I can tell you from experience.
It's a really fun and loud train of floats which certain people ride on called krewes, i think.
they throw out beautiful pearls(beads) and you scream and wave your hands and get their attention to catch the prettiest beads. At some parades, they throw teddy bears and coconuts and if you know someone or really catch their attention, you get something special, like roses and such. It's really fun and you HAVE to go there.
