Is Eminem's name really Marshall Mathers or has he changed it to be Eminem or Slim Shady? If so, when did he change it legally/officially?

Also, was he actually born as Marshall Mathers, was that a nickname, or did he somehow get it changed to that at some point? What does Eminem prefer to be called anyway?

I know some of his CDs are labelled as such names: The Eminem Show, The Marshall Mathers LP, The Slim Shady LP, and Eminem Is Back. So, I was wondering what his real name happens to be!

His real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III.

Eminem & Slim Shady are just his stage names.
Their also his nicknames given by friends.
"Slim" "Em" is what most of his friends call him.

In the past, Ive gotten my heart broken more than once and that has caused me to learn to be more defensive and just stubborn. Now im in a relationship with a great guy but I feel like I cant break some of the protective habits. Like I pick at things,sometimes get over emotional for little things and just can be so stubborn. I just noticed that I still do this and I dont think its cool. I really love my boyfriend and dont want it to end because of me...I need advice on how to just relax and let things flow instead of being so high strung.

I know exactly how you feel. I've been heart broken many of times and even though I've been with my boyfriend for almost a year, I still shut him off in some way. I will pick a fight over the littlest things and I don't even mean too. I'll get mad if he talks to a girl just because I've been cheated on before. I'll get mad if he doesn't call me when he says he will because I've been lied to before. It's normal for people to have their gaurds up when they've been hurt in the past. It does take a lot of time for all the pain to eventually heal.

Don't worry hun, it's absolutely normal. Just give yourself time.

my pups around 5-6 months, female, shepperd mix, and she pees and drops one every night down stairs! i don't give her anything to eat before bed time so what's up? i heard they releave stress whenever they have their accidents, is this because she's alone downstairs in the dark? :[

i'm really clueless, this is my first dog.

I have a 6 month year old Yorkshire Terrior and it was SO hard to potty train her. She is a lot better now though!

During the day keep an eye on her when she's in the house. If you see her use the bathroom in the house your suppose to rub their nose in it, then smack their butt and put them right outside. It lets them know what they did was wrong.
Also, try letting her out every 20-30 minutes to use the bathroom.

My puppy normally slept with me every night and she was too small to jump off my bed. But when she did get able to jump off my bed in the middle of the night, I kept her in the bathroom with the door shut. That way if she did use the bathroom, it was in the bathroom so it would be easier to clean up.

If you let your puppy out often, she'll learn not to go in the house.

It takes time, so just be patient. But eventually she'll be house broke!

ok so on myspace a guy that went to my school called "eric" liked like 4 times and he asked me out 4 times i said no to all of them cus we NEVER talked at ALL... so now on myspace we talk alot and he said im beutiful and cute and sexy and all that and now i kinda like him and wanna go out with him but i NEVER had a boyfriend so i dont like know what to say to him or do with him help

First off, you're 13 and no guy should be calling you "sexy" at that age.

If you like him too, just tell him. Tell him that you'd like to talk to him more before you date him. If ya'll talk more, then go for it! It's okay that you've never had a boyfriend, but take it slow considering that.

When you get out of the shower, tip your head upside down and use root lifter. (There are varieties and It's in a spray bottle) Spray your head with it & blow dry your hair while your head is still upside down. Flip it back up when it's dry and apply mousse. Then take a large curling iron and just curl little pieces here and there.

Well i go out alot and i usually go with a guy..
but for some reason i usually always end up paying for the guy and myself.. and i don't mind sometimes but all the time..? or just myself ..
i geuss it depends on the guy i choose but you as a girls.. does your man or "guy friend" pay for you or you pay for yourself?

Normally, guys are "suppose" to pay. I don't see anything wrong in a woman paying every once in a while but everytime you go out is not right. If you go with a friend that you know doesn't really have the money, it's okay. But if you go with a guy that you know has the money but is just stingy with it, make him pay. When your in a relationship, guys normally always pay. But I've been in a relationship with my boyfriend for almost a year and if he takes me out to eat he always pays. But if it's my idea to go out, I always pay because it was my idea anyways. When your dating different people they should pay. When your in a relationship it's okay to pay SOMETIMES! Good luck.

im going to a psych ward tomorrow

can somebody tell me what its going to be like there

I was admitted into one for depression, bi-polar, OCD, and social anxiety. It's a terrible place to go, but it does help you a lot. It's not meant to be fun. It's a hospital. Here's what mine was like.

You were allowed to wear your normal clothes, but only jeans, t-shirts, hoodies, and stuff like that. If your clothes has strings of any kind in them, they will cut them out.

You're not allowed to have hardly anything but clothes in your room. No pens & paper or anything like that.

Wake up at 7:15, line up for breakfast at 7:45. Go to the cafeteria and eat. Go back to your room for "quiet time" which means you clean it & make your bed. The nurses come in and search your room for anything in it that isn't suppose to be there.

The rest of the day is mostly therapy and group therapy. They ask you how your feeling, why your in there, what do you want to do to change. Your doctor will talk to you a couple times a day.

If you have good behavior, you get more activites.

It's not bad, but once again it's just to help you, not so you can have fun.

Hi I found out about 3 years ago that my friends parents parents both smoke weed. They dont do it around me or my friend they do it in there room, so were not around it, and they both are good parents, they both work and have a house of there own and there very responsible people, and I still have that thought in my mind that they both do it, and my my friends mom knnows I know about it and she tells me not to talk about it. what should my friend jasmin do?

You shouldn't do anything because a lot of parents smoke weed. But normally, they keep it private if their kids don't do it. I wouldn't worry about it if there isn't any harm being done. It's okay I promise :] Their grown, so they can make their own decisions.

okay so my boyfriend is in trg (tiny rascal gang) and I don't really care. I mean he's everything I'm looking for in a guy. but do you think it's bad I'm dating a guy in a gang?what should I do?

Honestly, these days gangs aren't real. They might think they are something bad for being in a so called gang, but gangs today are just friends claiming to be in gangs. There are some real gangs in bigger cities such as New York and Los Angelos. Now-a-days kids claim to be in gangs when really it's not a real gang.

But if your boyfriend is a "real gangter" I wouldn't suggest being involved in that. Your safety is at risk when you get involved with someone like that. I'm not saying to break up with him over it, because that's your choice. What I am saying is that if he did something to someone and they wanted revenge, they would go after someone close to him whether it's family or you. Talk to him about it and let him know that you don't want a part of that. Also, because your dating someone that is in a gang, people will look down on you because of things he does. Trust me, it's not worth the outcome of your life.

Think about your options. Think about everything real hard. It's your life and your choice. If you choose him, then your chosing to be a part of his lifestyle. Which also means putting yourself in danger. I'm sorry hun but you need to rethink what you're getting into. I'm sure no one wants anything to happen to you because of his doings.

what crimes do you have to commit to have to be on house arrest? how long are you on house arrest for? can you go to school when on house arrest? anything else you know about house arrest please tell me.

Every case is different. There aren't crimes you can commit just to be put on house arrest. Normally when your on house arrest you can go to school & work but that's it. In some cases you are allowed to go out with a parent if they call and let the people know your going to be with them and they have to tell them exactly where you will be going with them. There is a certain distance you can walk through your yard and if you go past that "ivisible barrier" then the alarm goes off and the cops will show up at your house to take you to jail no matter what the excuse is. House arrest isn't fun because you have to sit in your house until your time is up. Also, you're not allowed to have anyone over such as friends & what not because if they have someone watching your house (which they do normally) you can get in more trouble. Really, it just depends on the crime & what the court decides. Hope I helped love!

This is probably the weirdest thing you've heard, but here it is. Have you ever wanted something to be wrong with you? Like you actualy wanted to be sick or have a disease or something. I don't know what it is, but thats how I feel. Am I the only one? Does anyone else ever feel like this, or know someone that feels or felt like this?

I've seen a lot of people like this. It's a sign of insecurity. You may think that people would care about you more if something was wrong with you. Or that people may pay more attention to you if you had a problem. Truth is, that's not the case. You shouldn't want to be sick so people show more attention to you. That's not the answer. Think about all the people that has died from cancer and un-curable diseases. Would you want to be one of those millions of people? You should be lucky that you have nothing wrong with you and be there for the ones that do have to live with a disability. Don't take life for granted. If you're a healthy person, thank god for it. Others aren't as fortunate as you. I'm diagnosed with Bi-Polar, Social Anxiety, and Depression and I wake up every morning praying that one day I'll be a normal teenager again. You don't want to go through that every day of your life. Trust me. Live life like there's no tomorrow. There are other ways to seek attention from people. Be yourself, don't change.

Considering you won't find "good quality" make-up under $5, you're pretty much screwed. But, if you go to Walmart they have cheap make-up that is good quality. Most make-up is way over $5. Try Family Dollar. They have Mabeline products for $1-3. Not much selection, but that have your basics. Good luck.

Im 17 and Ive been with my boyfriend now for about a year. He's a really nice guy and he lost his virginity to me, but he cheated on me 2months ago...he slept with his ex!! he said it was because he was curious and it was a stupid mistake and that he loves me so much and im the only one for him. He swears he would never do it again, Should i believe him?? or leave him???

Well, everyone is different. For some people, the saying "Once a cheater, always a cheater" doesn't apply. If he lost his virginity to you, he was probably curious to see what it was like to be with another girl. If you have been with him long enough to know that he isn't the cheating type, then give him another chance. It is really a personal decision for you to make based on the type of person he is. If he is the type to cheat, then leave him because he probably won't ever change. Hope all goes well.

well i'm dating the guy who's 17 and i'm 16. when we were on our second date recently and I really like him, so I built up the courage and spontaneously kissed him in public. except he pulled bak and said we were blocking people's way ( which is true) but afterwards I didn't wana pressure him so we left it.
He confessed he was too shy to kiss in public. Is that common? I thought kissing someone you adored meant : time stops, everything around you disappears and it's only u and the other person left in that moment. It's magical:)

How can I encourage him and help build his confidence? He's the most laid back person I've ever met, and enjoys holding hands and holding my waist in public, yet he's shy about kissing? What a paradox ay? relaxed but shy...XD

Some guys like to take things slow. If you were only on your second date with him, he might of felt like it was too soon. Give him time. Let him get comfortable around you. There are a lot of people who don't like showing affection in public. It's not because they don't like you, it's because they don't want to give other people the wrong impressions of them. Just take things slow and he will eventually open up more and feel comfortable to kiss you whenever and wherever.

can i use a light colored eyeshadow as an eyeshadow base? or primer


Eyeshadow can brighten your eyes or just make you look like a clown, literally. I'm in Cosmetology and I've learned exactly how to do eye make-up the right way.

If you want to use a light colored eyeshadow that's perfect. You would use the light colored on top and go with a slightly darker shade of the same color on the bottom.

Example: Smokey Eyes.
You would use a light brown, almost tan color on top. Then a darker brown on your eye lid, and always remember to BLEND!! Take your finger and gently rub your eyeshadow to make it blend.

I'm going to be attending cosmetology school soon to get my esthetician certificate (makeup and skincare) and become a makeup artist.

Two questions:

What do I wear to cosmetology school? Like when attending classes? Casual, semi-dressy?

As a makeup artist working in a salon, what should I wear?

Just so I can get a general idea. Outfit descriptions would be great, links even better.
If it makes a difference, I'm tall, medium weight (not super skinny but not chubby-), with pale skin, dark brown hair, and dark green eyes).

I'm in Cosmetology. We had a dress code, but I'm not sure if yours will or not. But when I go into other Salon's, they have on black pants and a casual top. Our dress code was, black pants and a white dressy shirt. Remember to always wear comfortable shoes!!! That is an absolute must! I'd recommend black pants with a short sleeve white shirt. After your first day, they will most likely give you a dress code because they want everyone to look professional. Good luck!

I am thirty years old and have never made anything higher than 13 an hour. I am currently going to school and I have also been married for 8 years. My wife is unhappy with her job, and so I am helping her get a better one. I am facing foreclosure, possible job loss, and was recently in an accident where I may be getting sued. Unless I finish school or get a higher paying job, I face divorce and worse. I have been contemplating suicide, and would like to know what would be the most painless, and easiest way to go about doing it. I don't want any religious answers because I am so far from God right now, he couldnt find me if he had a compass. I am tired of struggling, I just want rest.

My dad has been struggling WORSE than that for the past 5 years. He has a great job that pays good, but he's facing foreclosure and he still can't pay all of our bills. So therefore, even if you had a wonderful job, you could still face struggling. Remember, there are people out there that have worse problems than you. You always have to keep your head up, because what would happen, if you killed yourself today; then tomorrow you would have won the lottery? You have to live life one day at a time. Suicide really is never the answer. I learned the hardway. You've been married for 8 years. You obviously have a wife that loves you. Why would you do that to HER? For the comment you said about God, it isn't right. He'll always be there, even when everyone else isn't. Finish school and go out and get a better job. Once you get back on your feet, everything will fall back into place. I'm sorry you're going through such a hard time in your life. Everyone goes through hard times like these at least once in their life. Just have faith.

Okay. So I asked a question awhile ago about being topless, bc I have a tattoo on my back for my grandma and I would like it in one of my pictures. Well I am looking for a shirt that has the top of my back cut out, and maybe down to around where my pants would start. And I was hoping that the front wont be cut down to were you can see my boobs from the sides, you know? help??

I've only seen dresses like that. JCPENNY's, Macy's, Sears, anything like that have dresses that are knee length, with the back like that. If the tattoo isn't THAT big, wear a halter top or a tube top. The backs in them go to about the middle of your back.
