Every case is different. There aren't crimes you can commit just to be put on house arrest. Normally when your on house arrest you can go to school & work but that's it. In some cases you are allowed to go out with a parent if they call and let the people know your going to be with them and they have to tell them exactly where you will be going with them. There is a certain distance you can walk through your yard and if you go past that "ivisible barrier" then the alarm goes off and the cops will show up at your house to take you to jail no matter what the excuse is. House arrest isn't fun because you have to sit in your house until your time is up. Also, you're not allowed to have anyone over such as friends & what not because if they have someone watching your house (which they do normally) you can get in more trouble. Really, it just depends on the crime & what the court decides. Hope I helped love!

I found some sites that tell you about house arrest but i cant really tell you what crimes you have to commit to get on house arrest because it varies it depends on the crime and what the judge decides. As far as i know, you cant go to school whiel on house arrest. They have like this security motion sensor thing that is put around the perimeter of your house so if you try to step of your property, the police are automatically called and arrest you. They could either put you back on house arrest or possibly in jail.

well the quesion is:why do wanna know all these stuff about house arrest ? I mean it isn't a good thing. my god brother was on house arrest for more than 6 months. but to be on house arrest, there are many types of crime to commit like stealing a car or having a possesion of a gun like my brother did. but you have to be caught with having a gun and like almost shooting the person. sometimes even being out late passed your curfew can cause you to be on house arrest. but why do wanna know all this? I'm telling you now that it isn't a good thing because sometimes it can cause you to go to jail or be sent away for two years like my brother. so I hope I helped:).
