I've been dealing with mild acne since age 11. I get blackheads on my nose and small pimples (not whiteheads, just bumps) all over my forhead and chin.

With the level of stress rising in school, I now get more and more pimples spreading to my cheeks, temples, neck, chest, arms, and back. Just a few here and there, but rapidly increasing.

Also, cystic pimples are popping up alot.

I've tried everything from Clean&Clear to AcneFree. ProActive is not choice right now due to money. A dermatolgist cannot happen either.

Does anyone have any sort of mirical worker?

You don't nesscarily have to go to a dermatologist, just go to the doctors & ask if you can get some acne medicine, ask for differin. It will only cost you like 25 dollars, to go to the doctors & get the medicine. Its alot cheaper then clean&clear.

As long as you have insurance or whateverr its called.

Ok, i really like this guy and i think if i asked him out he would say yes, but the thing is my friend is acting like a complete b**** because she is flirting with him, and bothering me on prupose. She is ugh! And i just found out 3 other girls like him. What should i do?

First of all, PLEASE answer this question if you're reading it because most columnists are probably trick-or-treating.

Anyways, my friends were planning on trick-or-treating at 6. It's 6:45 now. I said I'd be late because I get off work at 6, and I don't have a costume yet.

So when I got off work, I called my friends. They said they'd call me back. Now, an hour later, still no one has called. I have called them about 3 more times since. No answer.

Question: I love Halloween and always have. What do I do about this? I want to trick-or-treat. And my friends aren't the type that would blow me off. =[

I mean , if you want to answer a question its to help someone, not be rude.
So if you say something mean to someone, maybe when you ask a question someones gonna be mean toward you.
I just think its totally wrong.

I understand what you mean, but sometimes.. people arn't really trying to be mean, just honest. & it can come across mean, but they can be most likely doing it, just to get it through the persons head, to help them. I've done it a few times, & realize it was a little mean. But, I just want them to look at it at a realistic way. What I really hate..is when people rate you like ones, for just trying to help them.

It depends where you live. I believe 12, is wayy too young, I mean, you'd be like a beyond slut, if you did it then. 14 you'd be a slut then. 16.. where I live, is where its more common. 18 then, is basically no big deal.. everyone does it then. Well, most. Do it when you want, not when its approiate. You just gotta think of the bad things, about what could happen. I'm only 14, & i've got guys coming to my house all the time. I turn them down though, of course.

what do i do if my best friend is going out with my exboyfriend?

I hate to break it to you kiddo, you can't do or say anything really. Its over between you & your ex. He no longer belongs to you. 'All is fair in love & war' Thats an important qoute to remember, I hate that qoute, because I've been in the same situation as you, & yeah.. it sucks.

There is one little thing though, if she knew that you still liked him, I mean, like you've mentioned it plenty of times & stuff & she knew, then.. then shes not a very good friend. If she had no idea, & everything, you cannot blame her.
Even if you thought she knew, theres a chance she didn't.

You have to remember, its just a boy, & there will always be others. You've gotta think, would you really wanna lose your best friend, over a boy? Nahh.. i know I wouldn't.

You've gotta think of these things as if you were her & yourself. Tell her your upset, but you don't wanna cause a fight.. but it did hurt your feelings.. see where it goes from there.

Maybe you'll just have to deal with the fact that she may not be as good as a friend as you thought she was.. you know?

i absolutely love hollister, american eagle, and 'pink' by victoria's secret.my mom doesn't quite like it, and never lets me buy it. i'm sure a quite a few advice people will say "talk to her about it" but trust me, other than this me and my mom are very close but she can't seem to understand this. i dress very conservatively and don't show too much skin, by the way, so i'm not trying to wear these clothes for an immodest sort of reason. i just like the comfort and style they offer. i know there are options, like aeropostale and cheaper places, but i like these places a lot!
i wonder if there any places besides ordering online (cuz i'm not 18...don't have a credit card yet) that you can buy stuff by delivery, a place that does "cash on delivery" so that i can order even though i'm a minor

i don't have too many opportunities to shop with friends either, so thats not an option.

If its money, ever heard of platos closet, or gabrielles? gabrielles- it stuff that went just a tad wrong. platos closet- is stuff that people have worn. I know that sounds, tottalyy like.. ew? But, if you really wanna wear abercrombie, hollister, american eagle & such.. & your mom won't pay for it.. then thats the places to go. Abercrombie kids, also has a TON of sales, like tshirts are always like only 9.90. [i'm not sure if you can fit in there] hollister is like that too, in the back.

For victorias secret stuff, when they have there end of the seasons sales, i got pink pants for like 25 dollars, you just gotta wait for there sales.


If this is about like your mom won't let you wear low skirts or something? Then, just get your jeans & tshirts & stuff from there.

Alright, well, I've never been kissed ( and I'm 15 ).

So I mean, I've been asked by guys ( which I find funny in some weird way and then just put it off ) because I guess I don't want my first kiss to be that way, and tonight I was asked again, and of course, me being me, I said no. And I'm just afraid that's giving guys vibes that I like, hate them or something which isn't true. Well, I got my first kiss when I was 13, it was at his birthday, & the day before his party, I wasn't dropping hints or atleast I didn't meant to. Anyways, I was saying like.. how cute would it be to kiss under the stars or something. & hes like yeah.. so he told my best friend all that, that was coming to the party.. so they planned this thing, that I had no clue about & there like, LETS PLAY HIDE N SEEK. & i was like.. "ok whatever, arn't we a little old?" & there like "noooo" So, all of a sudden my boyfriend at the time.. is like "Hayley come on!" & I was like "ok?" Alright so, I went to a halloween party friday night at my friend's house. Her mom is cool, and let the guys who came stay the night. (which was only like 4 guys that could because of their own parents) And we were like messing around, dancing, singing and all that fun stuff.. then we were watching movies. And this kid who i thought that was one of my guy friends, but like never thought of anything more was watching the movie Rachel. and you know the reclining part of the couches? like on each side? So she was on one of those, and then i was laying with my feet over her and then the kid i was telling you about earlier who i thought was just my friend came, and was like oohhh Sam scoot over. So i was like sure. so i scooted to the inside of the couch and he was on the outer part. and like i get scared easily.. so like when we watched the movie I'd jump, and grab his hand. and then like he put his arm around me at one point and then i was holding his other hand while i had my head on his chest while we watched the rest of the movie and stuff. And like i eventually fell asleep on him for like 20 minutes like that then woke up. and then like i dunno. i kind of felt something, and then like whenever somebody saw us when we were watching the movie they'd be like "awwww you two are so cute! Are you going outtt?" and then we'd just be like "nopeee." But like I don't know like if i have feelings for him, or if i just liked having somebody to hold me like he diddd. How would i know thattt? Like how do you know if you like like somebody.? Thanks!!

Okay, well I'm not the most popular person in my grade, I'm average, not a nerd but not popular. And, there's this popular girl that always hangs out with me at the football games, and I don't know why. Her name is Mackenzie, and at school, she's usually making fun of the fact that I'm dating Dane, or she's completely ignoring me. I don't even want to be friends with a popular person, it could lead to me being popular and then I'd lose all of my real friends. Besides, I don't want to be someone I'm not. So does anyone know why she's all the sudden hanging out with me?

Well, in my school, i'm probably the most popularest girl in school. Atleast thats what everyone says, I never really knew I was all that popular, but then when people would be like.."Yeah, who do you guys think is popular?" & then they'd name me first. I never even paid attention to it before. So, maybe you don't realize it either, & you're popular too. Thats good that you wanna stay with your real friends, I don't think I could ever give my friends up, if they told me it'd make me popular if I ditched them or something. Now, this may sound mean, but I know this how my friends act & such..if none of her friends are at the football game, she could just be using you, or she could think your really cool, & just wants to get to know you! I bet its the second one, inless shes like mean & stuff. We make fun of this one girl, whos dating this weird kid too. But, its only because we're kidding. Thats just the way my group is, were just joking around. Maybe she is too. Just stay nice to her & see how it ends up. The only way you can not cause any drama & everything, is to just ignore. You could try telling her again, to stop it. And also, ask your friends what the heck they like about her. Three girls in my group, is obbessed with this one girl, who they think is so pretty & so much fun. When shes probaly thee most borniest person alive, & shes not even that pretty. She has braces & glasses, shes really nothing special. But, then they all act like she is. Some people are just weird like that.

So I have this friend and we used to be really close over the summer, but we just started high school officially and now she keeps ditching me. I don't get it. Make new friends.
If she ditches you alot, theres a good chance she'll keep doing it. If shes not very good with talking abot stuff.. then, she also sounds kinda boring. So I'd definitely make new friends.

My good friend says he loves me, more then a friend. He has asked me out twice so far but then dumped me a few days after. Then a friend of ours that he dated before told me that after he asked me out, he asked her out on AIM. She knew about what was going on between us and said, "but you are going out with her," but he told her, "Ohh I am goin gto dump her tomarrow at school." Then later that night we got back together because he heard that I was going to leave him. He told me that he wouldn't dump me and then on Friday night we were going to teh ice den and he was at his friends house and he told him to text me that he wants to be just friends. We still say, "I love you," to each other and we are goin gto get together again, but I don't think he is telling me the truth about how he feels about me, I don't know what to tell him when he asks me out again?

It doesn't sound like he has his priorities straight. He likes you, but hes not intirely sure how much.. you know what I mean? If he asks you out again, just say.. "do you like me or not? I don't wanna go through the whole thing that happened last time, again."

& see what he says, if he says.. yes he likes you & only you..then if you like him too, go for it.

If he says like.."i'm not sure who I like but I do like you" then tell him, to call you or whatever when he knows if he likes you & only you.

That same thing happened to me.
I had no one to give me advice, so I didn't know what to do. It went on for like 3 days, what they did to me.. is like turn EVERYONE in school against me. It was horrible. Anyways, I acted like I didn't care.. I completely ignored it..I hung out with these girls, who I didn't know well at all, but they seemed nice. Anyways, my old friends.. they came running back to me. I didn't have anyone to tell me what to do, so I took them back.

Now, I'm in a fight with one of them again, because shes being selfish & wants to go shopping instead of go to my halloween party. So, yeah.

I suggest, you go & make new friends.. don't let them crawling back to you again, theres a good chance, you'll go through the whole thing again, its not worth it.

There is such thing as a therapist. Tell your mom, tell her that you wanna get better & such. See one, get some medicationn.. & you'll feel a whole lot better. Also, try talking to some of your friends or your boyfriend, about how you feel.

Well, I'm in 8th grader. & I remember when I was a 6th grader, all the guys hated us. They said we were immature, & annoying. Theres a good chance, the guys will say the same. Inless you like some complete loser or something. Find out if he even knows your namee, have one of your friends that like rides his bus or something say.. like "have you ever heard of that.." & see what he says about you. If its good, go for it.
