I like fairies (thus why I am wearing fairy wings in the picture). Good grammar rocks, too. It doesn't have to be perfect but I get frustrated when people completely disregard it. I like every color except pink. I hate the wind. Sometimes, I carry around a little teddy bear I found at an antique store. His name is Robert. I dress very eccentrically. It's not unusual for me to wear a prairie dress one day and a Mod dress (think Austin powers) the next. I don't dye my hair, or wear much make-up. I think it's sad that no one puts any emphasis on natural beauty anymore. I think it's a good thing to be open and educated about sex and other issues that are considered taboo. I have a hard time seeing where homophobics are coming from.

im scared.
my parents are in a fight. THEY FIGHT ALL THE TIME. they cant go at least 3 months without having a huge fight. theyve fought for as long as i remember. i always cry when they fight cause they yell so much, and say such horrible things. but they ALWAYS get over it, and forget it ever happened. but my dad has such a bad temper. he doesnt abuse her or hit her, he just breaks things when hes mad. and today, someone punched him becus there was a party across the street, and some guy decided to be a wisecrack and park right in front of our garage. so my dad asked him to move it, and the guy punched him, and my dad punched back for self defense. and this really scared me. but im so sick of my parents fighting. i dont know what to do, or who to go to becus they ALL SAY THE SAME THING;; "itll be ok. theyll get over it." or "you should talk to them about it and how you feel." but NOTHING I DO OR SAY will help them. ive tried so many times. i really need help. i just feel like bursting out in tears. If they've fought for this long, they probably won't stop now. If talking to them has never worked, I say that you're just going to have to start ignoring it. Leave a note so you don't interuppt them and go for a walk while they're fighting, or turn on your headphones really loud. If anything, you can learn something from them and you'll know not to do this when you start getting into serious relationships.

I think the other people who responded covered it pretty well. Females generally seem to lose their virginity either later on in high school (junior/senior year) or within the first couple of years of college, though of course it varies because of location and other circumstances. I don't think someone would want to wait so that they are tight again, because there are excersizes for that and losing one's virginity for a girl isn't exactly pleasent most of the time anyway.
I don't know though...I'm a female (obviously), I lost my virginity at a pretty early age- and I still don't regret it years later. It really just depends on the person.

I don't think you can get in trouble. First of all, he would probably only get in trouble should your parents decided to sue, and even if they did, the fact that you are both in high school together protects you. If he won't be in high school, I still don't think there is enough of an age difference for it to be illegal, but it varies from state to state sometimes.

My Best Friend ( Katie ) just met this other girl. I totally don`t mind her hangin out with other people, but this girl does drugs and things like that. First of all, don't blame your mental instabilities on her. What she's doing is really shitty, but you are the one who makes your own choices. Unless she is literally dragging that razor across your skin, it is your choice to cut yourself because of your insecurities. Letting her know that you cut yourself is probably only pushing her away even more because knowing that you are making someone that upset is a big burden.
Drop her because all she is doing is making you miserable, and I'm sure sooner or later that guy will dump her and that other girl will start to annoy her, and then she'll come crawling back to you. What you do after that is also your choice, but I suggest for now you just need to avoid her and forget about her.

My Tenth year highschool reunion is coming up next year and I'm really nervous about it.
This is because me and a guy that I had a mad crush on left on really bad terms.
He was the most popular guy in school, class valedictorian and jock. I was one of the nerds. He new I had a crush on him and he treated me like dirt. He would make out with his girlfriend when I would walk by him in the hallways to upset me. He would play little games to humiliate me, like coming up to his friend whose locker was next to mine just to see me go red in the face.
He even went right up to my friend at the senior prom to hit on her while she was standing next to me and then he ignored me.
The last time I saw him was at the bar 8 years ago. I went up with my friend to talk to him and he completely ignored me even though I said it was my birthday.
Do you think I should go and confront him or just ignore him? This was a long time ago and I think that by now he would have matured a bit. I want to be the better person even though he made me senior year a living hell.

Don't tell them unless it's absolutely necessary. You're never going to get your mom to change her opinions on the subject, so don't even try. I'd seriously consider avoiding telling her at all costs until maybe you're out of the house.

ok, my best friend and i have known each other since we were 2. we're actually a lot more like sisters, because we know everything about each other. we're now sophomores in high school, and she has yet to make one friend of her own. every friend she has was because i was friends with them first, which isnt a problem, but she needs to seriously be able to make her own friends. we have EVERY class together, and she just tags along. i never get a break from her. i cant stand her attitude, and if i hadnt have known her my whole life i probably wouldnt choose to be friends with her. she judges everyone and is just plain mean. i honestly need to get away from her but i cant, and i cant talk to her because shell just go crying to MY friends and try to get them to be on her side. what the hecks and i supposed to do!?!? Simple communication? Telling people exactly how you feel is always a good way to let someone know what's on your mind, you know? It might be harsh, but it's better than leading someone on to think otherwise. If your friends turn against you, so what? They obviously weren't very good friends to begin with or they're just not worth your time. And since you're so confident in your friendship making abilities, you can always make new ones.
