Question Posted Saturday September 24 2005, 12:29 am

ok i really like this really hot guy and i used to think he was an idiot. i have now realised he isnt an idiot and actually has a lot in commen with me. i think he likes me because not only does he always look kind of pleased when i laff at his jokes but he sometimes tries to hard to make it look like he doesnt like me. like, i will ask him what he got on his math test and he will say "96" or something and i will be like, i got 100 and he just sas "i dont care what you got" like he is being defencive. i tell another guy what i got on the same test and he will be like, omigosh you got 100!? he has a kindof hard imige where you dont let annything out but he told me he sometimes watches sunsets off his deck and i should see it. i have never asked a guy out before but theres a first for everything so i was wondering if you guys could help me know what to say? thanx i rate high

well first of all i think you should try to be as alone as possible when you do ask him that way its less pressure from othrs around you, and definatly dont write a note and ask. i would suggest doing somethying really casual with him where it wont be the two of you and thats it kind of make it like a hang out as friends thing, then you can see how things will be from that first friendly date. if he acts really into you, and directs all of his or well say most of his attention twords you then i say hes hot for you. all my guy friends have told me they love when a girl asks them out, they feel less nervous, so bonus points will definatly be earned there, good luck.

He sounds a bit immature either way. I wouldn't go for it.

Try taking it extra slow chica, so it gives him space (incase he's scared) and also gives you time to figure him out... instead of asking him out on a date, do a variety of activities that you both would enjoy. Halloween's coming up, try making a "dummy" together. Plan a little pizza party between you and him with your and his little brothers/sisters, or even your friends, as long as both of you are comfortable with it. Try getting a movie you both would like to watch, invite him over or go over his house to watch it. Play against eachother in a game of basketball, ask him to go to the store with you or say your trying to tone out your body and ask him if he would like to walk with you... hope this helps... good luck chica, *MuaHz*
