What is your definition of skinny enough and is my mom saying that I was overweight before and now I am skinny or am I reading too much into this: STORY TO REFRESH YOUR MEMORY: I am thin and A FEW DAYS AGO when I came home from work I changed into a tee-shirt but wore the same pants I wore to work. She asked me as I sat down to eat if I lost weight, and I said no, but this upset me. I said to her that she always tells me I look beautiful. She said you do look beautiful but your pants look bigger. And she told me that I am skinny enough. " (link)

i know how you feel. just don't worry & you should tell her you kinda got upset about it because you don't want to be too skinny. i don't think she meant any harm by asking if you lost weight. it would have been worse if she stated, "you look skinnier." you know what i'm saying?
i'm sure you're beautiful & have a great body, so i wouldn't worry too much, hun.

every night I blowdry my hair and then straighten it in the morning... is this bad for my hair? I put this thing from Paul Mitchell called super skinny serum in it before i straighten it and blowdry it, but will it still damage my hair? (link)

the only way you can damage your hair is if you straighten it when it's still wet [ you'll know cause your hair will sizzle ] & if you blowdry & straighten it EVERY DAY.
paul mitchell products are really good - so mostlikely, no you are not damaging your hair. just some days, don't straighten your hair, like scrunch it or just leave it natural.

ok, so, for easter we make a ton ton ton of eggs. & we end up throwing most of them out, because they like sit in the refrigerator for so long. does anyone know, that like if i wanted to give it to the poor like for food, downtown, would they want them, or no? or any other ideas what i could do with the eggs? i don't think that the people who run the homeless shelter would take them, because there are so many pyshco people who might poison them and ya. but like if u see someone on the street or some where then you could give them to that person.....

hey. 14/f. well, my 8th grade promotion is coming up in about a month. well, i had this one dress that was cream color and had some gold sequince on it. i decided that i wanted something diffrent. so we took it back, and i had been thinking the dresses with a solid color, then a lace overlay were really pretty. so today i went to the mall to look. i found one, that i like. it was cream colored, with a black lace overlay. so i bought it. then i got a really pretty perl (fake, lol) necklace and some cute black shoes. well, i get home and try it on again. now i kinda think i look like an old lady. :( i really want to look cute, but i think people will make fun of me. i got online and looked for one, but i just can't find one that really POPS out at me. its making me mad and sad. i know i still have like a month or whatever, but soon, prom dresses will be gone, and that usually means other cute dresses will be gone. i got online and looked, but couldn't find one. i looked at dillards, jcpenny, sears, nordstrom, urban outfitters, charlotte russe, and wet seal. but i can't seem to find one. so if anyone knows where i can get a cute fun lace overlay dress, then that would be AWESOME!!!i wear a size L or XL in dress. thanks so much! ~13/f~ im the kind of gothic rough girl and hes the kind of preppy nice guy.Im not sure how I like my friend bff or bf. Weve been really close friends for a long time then it started going to bffs. because I tell him more than my other bffs and he tells me a lot and were always there for each other. But then we flirt so much. people think or say were dating or should but were not. He knows I liked him I know he liked me but I have no idea now. I went to a paintball party. We both go paint balling a lot then at the party my team was my 5 bffs 3 of their bfs and him. we flirt so much that’s what im so confused about. He was showing off and when we separated he was looking for me and worried? hes just really to nice. Is that what it should be like. But now hes been wearin a lot of black and deppressed. Does that mean something. But then we do joke or do shoot each other on purpose. And my other bff and her bf broke up that night so I went with her. So he knew so he went to get him(the guy she broke up with). Then we went around me my bff(my ?bff or bf? As in him) and my other bff (she just broke up). he was talking to her about something ‘top secret’. later on she started truth or dare. I kept doing truths I was just to nervous. I knew it was a setup. He asked truth to me if id ever take a dare. Then my bff asked truth to me if I liked him then truth to him if he liked me we both said no. I regret it. Everyone already knew anyway but im just not sure if I like him bf or bff? And ive never kissed or been kissed. That’s what it was supposed to be…us kissing. I thought wed start taking it longer than just a ‘dare’ kiss like making out or something. I like him as a bf then bff then bf then bff I just am not sure whats wrong. Hes all I think and write about.

Alright. Well, it DEFINITLY sounds like he likes you. And he's a really sweet guy, you shouldn't have said that you didn't like him. Ya'll were probably just embarrased, I would have been too. Not most boys & girls are that close. Ya'll really have something. I think you should just say "Remember when our friends asked if I liked you? Well... I lied." Because, I mean, it has to start somewhere. And it seems like he is too scared to make the first move. How do you kiss... well... Ya'll will be talking... then ya'll will keep looking at each other's lips, and when then one of ya'll will lean in. If he leans in closer to you, lean in closer to him while closing your eyes. And then you just kiss. Ya'll can do the opposite-head-thing, where if he leans his head to the left, you lean yours to the right. If he opens his mouth, open yours and let his tongue in. Like, massage his tongue with yours. Remember to breathe, though! lol. Just tell your mom casually, likes it's no big deal. Don't tell her that ya'll kissed though, because that's none of her business. Just say, "Hey mom! Guess what? I have a boyfriend..haha." But if you act like it's a big deal, then she probably will too. So just be casual. Or, if you don't have his phone number yet, you could ask him for it. That would be a good first-move. Girl relaxxx. You can't do it wrong, just go with the flow. Really. Act off what he's doing and you should be fine. Does he know you've never been kissed before? i like the color better & i like the design a lot more than the second one. the second one is also kinda weird... like the colors are not very smoothe together. i especially don't like how the yellow is on the white... it hurts my eyes.
the navy works so well with the white.

aw you're cute :] & i love your hair. it looks really soft & shiny.
hm... it looks pretty good straight, but maybe try something like layers & side bangs (if you already have side bangs & they are just blended in with your hair, get them trimmed up again). your face is long so side bangs would look good.
i like the length - it would be perfect for like, curling your hair. like a nice, volumous haircut that really brings out your face.
hey, before you get a haircut, have you tried blowdrying your hair upside down? man, that adds so much volume! it would look soo good.. & like, using a rolly brush to curl your ends? you would look so good with that.
ask your hairdresser what they think would look good. i really like the layers idea.

i use to have that and my ortho said it was gingivitis. i used fluoride rinse everyday and brushed a bunch-bunch-bunch. massaging your gums with you finger will also help. but, it's not normal. so do i what i said and it should go away.

13 year olds really shouldn't be dating 17 year old guys. I say that because most 17 year old guys these days are probably have too much sexual experiance for 13 year old girls. He's going to want to do things you shouldn't be doing. That's the big issue and that's what your parents are gonna care about and what they're gonna see (only becuase it's true). Something else is you might not fit in too well with his friends (guys and girls). And more likly than not, the reason 17 year old guys date 13 year old girls is to get some. It's true
