No, I don't think the kiss will be awkward, especially, if you both really like each other -- height won't matter. You can always bend down a bit, or kiss while sitting down, either way it would work out just fine. :)

I am in the same situation, you can always bend down a little when you kiss, but sitting down would probably be much more comfortable. If you sit then you are going to be basically the same hight.

Okay i have been there, done that! It may be the biggest thing on your mind but when you are kissing him you wnt even think about it.The only thing i can tell you is to dip your head a bit but dnt mske it obvious! Hope I Helped!

kiss sitting down... like on a couch or something. that way you guys will be at the same height. or laying down on a bed watching a movie. or wear ballet flats / really low shoes like flip flops when you kiss.
