the best thing is to tell her she will be fine tell her when you get it, you didnt even relize it came i know thats what happened to me and it happens to alot of ppl, make sure she knows to just be cautious of herself around the time so it odsnt happen at school or anything :)

*Tell her that everything is going to be okay, and what she's going through is completely normal. Every young girl goes through the same thing, and many are at this moment. She's not alone. Explain to her about periods and let her know the facts, that way, she won't be scared when it actually happens, and she'll know what to do.

tell her she has nothing to worry about, because it's really rare for a 12 year old to get her period. some people even get it when they're 16.

there's only a problem if someone doesnt get it by 16, so she still has four years.

also, most people get it around the time that their mom got it, so you could ask your mom when she got it so she'll be prepared.

Tell your sister everything is going to be okay. She should be very proud that she is getting signs/getting her period. Getting your period means that she is a woman, so try and show her the things now she might be able to do, now that she is more grown up. That is what my mom did and it calmed my down quite a bit :]

Just tell your sister that nobody really gets their period at the age of 12. She isn't strange. Now, granted, I got mine when I was 11 but that's just me. Everyone is different. It comes and goes. You can just remind her that it's on it's way and that she is COMPLETELY normal. I'm pretty sure your sister will get it soon. Don't worry

hey there,
Your sister needs to calm down shes only 12 years old!! Its VERY rare for a 12 yearold to get her period now..and also some people dont get it because of blood line or if its passed down by family members if all your family members get it at the right age then i am 100% sure your sister will get it also..Tell her thatt and not to worry shes to young to care let her live her age..Much love xoxoxox

Good luck tell me how it goes =]
