I am trying to get some really cute skirts... Do you know of anyplace that has cute summer/winter skirts that are cheap? I am trying to get a style and I have found I like the vintage. If you could give me the websites or even the names of some stores, that would be more than helpful !ThAnKyOu!

how can you let a guy know you like him, without sounding too desperate?

There are different ways to show guys how you feel about them. If you want to show him without telling him, stare at him a lot and smile when he looks back. You could also touch his arms when you talk to him, and talk in a nice tone. If you want to actually tell him without telling him in person, write him a note and ask your friend to give it to him. Or, ask your trusted friend to tell him for you. If you know his email, send him a nice email expressing your feelings to him.

I know this boy, let's call him Jon. We're really close friends and I have his phone number and my sister wants to call him and ask him out for me because I want to go out with him but last time she did that for me for another guy that I used to like, he said "No". I'm really shy around boys that I like but I'm not shy around him. We're best friends and everything's cool but... I don't know what to do! I'm so confused!

I suggest you ask him out, without your sister's help. Just because another guy said, "no" doesn't mean this guy won't say it. If you're comfortable around him, just ask him out since your bestfriends. If you're not comfortable around him, I think you should get to know him better. Once someone is ready to ask another person out, then they should do so. I think your bestfriend would like you to ask him out, so he knows for sure you really like him. I wrote in about a month ago, asking for advice about a friend of mine that treated me badly (called me names, made me look stupid in front of others, etc). I finally confronted her about it, so now we don't talk anymore. I'm so much happier; but now I have a few more problems...
1) She always stares at me! And when I walk down the hallway (and she's in a classroom), she is always by the door (like she's waiting for me), but she never talks, she just stares. Is that normal, because it sort of freaks me out.
2) I REALLY want to go to a camp, but she might be going too, and I really don't want to run into her (because then she'd beg for forgiveness, and I don't think that she would change, which is why I didn't give her a second chance in the first place). Should I go or not, and why?

A person shouldn't stop yourself from having fun. You SHOULD go to camp and have a good time, and not let your ex-friend get in the way. If she's staring at you, then I suggest you look away and pretend not to notice. I think she wants you to notice her and feel bad that she's upset, but do not stoop to her level and let the same thing happen again. Usually someone won't change their personalities, so don't let her bother you. Good luck!

i like this guy at my school, and everybody's telling me that he likes me too. we went out before but it only lasted a few days, because i just didn't feel comfortable around him. but now i like him again, and he keeps telling everyone he might ask me out again. the problem is, when i go out with him i don't like him but when i don't go out with him i like him. i keep changing my mind about if i like him or not. if he asks me out, what should i say? because i'm afraid if i go out with him again, i might keep changing my mind about if i like him or not. im really confused. i don't know if i really like him or not. please help!!!

If your around him, I believe you should be comfortable and feel like you want to be with him. If he's talking nicely to you, and you don't get that "special" feeling, then you must not really like him. You might be picturing him different when he's not around, but when you actually know his personality, it doesn't feel like he's the one. I suggest you talk to him about going out again, and if you don't feel any attraction, don't go out with him.

So, I'm in 8th grade (im a girl) and recently I geuss I have begun to be really good friends with a 5th grader (boy) (i go to a SMALL Catholic school in the middle of no where). Now I like him much more than a friend, but i dont know if it's wrong to like him more, or what i can do about it?.

My gosh, there isn't a big problem there. Some people think it's so gross, but it's not really. It depends on how mature this kid is, and how mature you will be when you're around him. I'm a fifth grader and REALLY mature for my age. I mean, I'm 5'3 and hang out with fourteen year olds. I suggest you do what is right to you, and if you like him, continue liking him. Eleven can be an immature age, or not. I chose to act mature at my age, and if he would like to act that way, I believe that's fine if you like him. Well, good luck!

Of course he's going to be upset, but even though he's going to act that way you did the right thing by saying no and telling the truth. I suggest you talk to him again and tell him exactly what you said in here, that you weren't expecting him to ask you and you feel bad saying no, but it would be for the best if you just stay friends. Soon he will get over it and find a girl that will like him the same way.

This boy asked me to go out with him as in be in a girlfriend, boyfriend thing. I wanted to say yes but said no instead because, I wasn't sure I knew how to be someones girlfriend and would like more to go out on a couple of dates with him than start a relationship. But my friend had set the whole "asking me out thing" up, so I'd have a boyfriend and is now saying "he's probably the only boy who'll ever like you" which is making me regret doing it.But I'll look stupid if I ask him out now plus he's being a bit out of order to me at the moment. You don't have to "know" how to be a girlfriend. It should all come nauraly in liking someone, and if you really like a guy, you should know how you want to act around him. I think you should ask him out again before it's too late.

DO NOT go on a crash diet. A crash diet means to not eat anything, which is very bad for your health. It could lead to sicknesses, and your body will look TOO skinny and unhealthy. Either way, it won't work for you. I suggest working out and not eating too many snacks. For lunch eat soup and salad and not too many carbs.

Me and my bf have been going out 4 three months he just found out something bad about a family member and its been making him really angry. I understand how he feels but he takes all of his anger out on me! I think you should just try your best to understand his feelings. Everyone deals with things differently, and his way of doing it is yelling and getting mad. If you want to deal with this, then do not break up with him and talk to him, being sensitive. If you don't want to have to deal with his behavior, break up with him, using gentle words. Good luck!

I have this friend, and we were really good friends at the beginning of the year. Literally every guy in our school thinks shes hot, and i think its gone to her head. She goes out with people shes not really friends with on friday nights and never invites me and acts like im a total freak all the time. on the other hand, shes always really nice to me and stuff when shes not around those people who think shes so hot, and i like to be around her then. i dont want to tell anyone how shes treating me because theyll tell her because they want to be friends with her. i cant talk to her because shes so mean when shes mad at someone and no one will be on my side of the arguement.

If you like her, you should get to know her better and see how she feels. If she's not acting like a good friend though, why bother? I'm only interested in guys that act nicer around me, not hard-to-get. If she seems like that type and you don't like it, don't bother because she's most likely not going to change her attitude. Maybe you should just ignore the argument if no one feels the way you do and just don't talk about it. Good luck!

Very nice way of saying it! Some other girls would just get mad and tell him off, but the way you're going to say it is a nice choice of words. I believe telling the truth is the best way of dealing with this, and if he still keeps asking you out, ignore him. If he can't respect your opinions, then he must not be a good friend at all. If he accepts your feelings and acts JUST like a friend, then you've done good.

You cannot make a girl like you, you have to share interests and flirt until you get to know her more. Girls don't usually liked to be pushed into a relationship they don't want to be in, so they have to get to know you also. After that, tell her your feelings and see what she says. Just because she talks with another guy, it doesn't mean they're going to go out soon, so take your chance before it's too late to ask her out.

You don't have to deal with this from a guy, but before you suspect anything, talk to him about it. If he flirts with other girls, it might just be because that's his personality. If he's messing around with you, then you don't deserve to be treated this way. Leave him alone and let him treat other girls this way. I would just talk to her and try to find out why she is mean to you now. It might not even be because of you hair! I like this guy who cut his hair, and I don't like it now, but I still like him and think he's the cutest thing ever (lol). Approach her and ask her why she's acting like this, if it's true she only likes you for your hair, aviod her and leave her alone to treat other guys this way.

Bangs is your hair that goes down your forehead, and you probably already growed out yours if you don't know what they are. To get them you just havr to get your hair cut in the front. I used to have bangs, but when I got older I grew mine out. If you have thick hair, bangs don't look as nice on you, if you have thin hair it'll look nicer. It depends on what kind of hair you have.

If he kissed you, he must be ready to ask you out. If he says he wants to get to know you better, talk to him about your hobbies and still act comfortable around him. I think you should give him a chance. It doesn't have to be too serious right away, but when you get to know him, make a commitment. Just because other guys have hurt you before, doesn't mean he will.
